I bought some for my 000-15m and took them off immediately but then kept seeing on the internet people swearing by them for mahogany guitars so I tried them again and struggled through them for 4 days and they finally broke in and wow. They’re complex and deep sounding now
Not sure what I like best between daddario xs pb, Martin 2.0 pb or retro but maybe I can just alternate every so often. They all sound good. Retros for sure are unique tho

Exactly! They are the best Acoustics strings around, no contest. You get the full bodied tone like a bronze string, but they somehow still have the ability to bend. I have tried every string on the market, acoustic as well as electric. Martin Retro Strings are the best acoustic strings money can buy, especially when you have some Dunlop string cleaner to keep them sounding bright. They hold turning like nothing else. (I haven't gotten a fucking cent to say it either) I just love good equipment.

I was going to get back into it, but I have been busy working on different projects and frankly, when you have fans that don't seem as interested as they did when you were dealing with nothing but drama from calling out bullshit from other channels, It kills your incentive to make positive videos and videos that you wanted to do to begin with. TH-cam viewers don't give a shit unless I am calling out other TH-camrs and I am sick of that stuff. I just want to make videos that I like and videos to help fellow musicians. I always talk about and plan on making new videos, but it's hard when TH-cam has gone to shit and I have been working hard on other things. I would even make videos about my work if I thought the time and effort would be worth it!

You ought to strum it with one of the picks I make. Those strings were made for classic pick materials. Thin picks are great for just basic strumming, but when you get a nice thick pick and play some chords with those strings, they have a special kind of jangle that sounds soo good.
Martin packed 2 strings in one paper envelope. They corrode when kept in close contact. I wont be able to tell if they sound good bcos i will be playing with a bunch of low quality corroded strings.
Be careful buying guitar strings on Ebay, they're Chinese knockoffs ! I buy my strings from Sweetwater, you pay couple bucks more but you know they're genuine.

I started the page to help people and always dealt with more shit than it was worth. Thats why I stopped making videos. I might come back just for the hell of it, to see if I got the monkeys off my back and see if people still want to watch my vids. But I just genuinely don't give a fuck like I used to. I went through hell in my time on TH-cam.
