Thank you. He went deeper into a creators world than i could have explain. The amazing thing is, he's accepted his journey and knows their are facets to any piece he steps into. Very excellent.
Thank you so much for your insightful comment. :) It's indeed incredible when artists embrace the various facets of their craft and journey. I'm grateful for your engagement with the content. ✨
I'm so glad to hear that you can relate to Anthony's painting process. It's always wonderful to find common ground in the creative journey. Thanks for sharing your connection with us, and we look forward to more insights from you!🎨
@@december.artfilms I have loved every interview so far, each artist is heart felt and articulate but what is most important is that each makes wonderful work.
it really speaks to me how he uses old materials such as shirts or serving trays as surfaces to paint on. it makes me think of artists like Chagall, who used an old tablecloth as canvas in poor times. art is about expression and not about the materials. at the same time i have a different perspective on his view of everyday life as painting subjects; i think its very interesting to see artist's depicitions of ordinary lives. these depictions reflect intimate views of the world and are also historically very interesting. so personally i don't think it necessarily has to do with ego.
Thank you so much for sharing such a thoughtful perspective! While the artist places great value on using everyday materials to expand the canvas and convey personal stories, I find your view on depicting ordinary life as both personal and historically fascinating really compelling as well. I’m sure the artist would be happy to know that their work resonates with a variety of interpretations and connections like yours! Thank you for watching!
That's fantastic to hear! Repurposing old shirts as painting canvases is not only creative but also environmentally friendly. I hope you enjoy experimenting with this new approach! 🎨♻️

Anthony Banks - your paintings hits me hard - in a good way. I feel a reflection of what is inside of me......................😇
It's a whisper of what's inside him and he doesn't even know it
Yes. Brilliant Grandmother so that you or her children will not be over-daunted or overwhelmed when the time comes...
That`s exactly what I thought. It`s also beautiful how he revives them
