As a freelancer can you breakdown prices that you charge from when you started to what it is now and what you did to build your list of good paying clients?
Thank you for a well done, heart felt video. I'm an old timer and love programming but it is easy to get trapped in the pitfalls you counter with your suggestions. Bless you.
Special thanks for touching on the burnout issue and doing better, more comfortable progress after a refresh. As you say, at the time, it seems counter-intuitive but is actually key!
A key concept I've been using for years is 'progressive elaboration', which is the gradual evolution of a piece of code in a manner that is easy to enhance and debug. Too many developers start use the approach of initially trying to write a piece of code that includes every single feature of the expected finished product. That almost never works. Instead, they should start with a block of code that is as basic and fundamental possible, and get it to work. Then, add a single feature or change to it, and then re-test. Repeat this process until the code is finished. If a test fails, it must be in the most recent change or feature. However, this approach takes a little discipline.
definitely agree with you. Young developers, including me obviously, like to jump around different technology and not spend enough time to master one skills. in the end we are not good in anything language.
A great amount of information and I really like the pace you are using explaining everything but honestly this video could have been much shorter, everything said here could be said in a 5 min video. It's just my opinion. Don't take it wrong. I loved it but just my opinion is that some of the sentences you have used could have been skipped and that is my opinion for all of your videos. I'm a subscriber though and i have to say again that i love your videos and the simplicity and method that you use to explain everything so that everyone can understand. Thsnk you!
I entirely agree, especially about the care about Burnout. Guys and girls, don't neglect the sleep and the time spent in the middle of nature doing nothing "brainy". That doesn't mean you have to be lazy, just remember that you are human and you have needs that go beyond a shiny screen 😉
Online tutorials are only worthwhile if they're done well. I have seen too many of them where some guy starts with a nearly-blank screen and then proceeds to type line after line of basic code, including mistakes and corrections. Instead, these people should begin with a complete set of code and then do a structured walkthrough of it.
Hello Sir, Your videos are super great! However, I wanna suggest you that please make the videos more user friendly. Meaning lot of users can't understand the pro programming things, make them a little easy for the users who have less knowledge in programming. Hope you understood what I am trying to say. Make them Easy! :) Best Wishes!
Rashtradeep Tripathi While I totally understand that WPCast videos are aimed above the beginner level, that’s actually fantastic. There’s tons of WordPress content for beginners available from other sources, here on TH-cam and elsewhere. But there isn’t enough content for more experienced WP developers. If these videos aren’t right for you today, then that’s an opportunity to grow, and come back when you’ve “leveled up” in your WP skills. Best!
Sup Nerd! Let me know what your tips for beginners are in the comments.

About to binge on all this man's videos.
Absolutely agree with your first point, It's so easy to complete the course and move on but applying your skills to real world situations is pivotal!

Any Udemy course to start learning WordPress Development? What tech do I need to learn...etc

Feeling stupid but forging on anyway is my greatest skill!
It's not about being perfect, it's about being better then yesterday :)
For point 1, I use www.frontendmentor.io to get myself doing stuff away from tutorials
