This album I discovered alongside a friend of mine. We listen to it constantly. Luckily, this isn't a sappy story or anything, cause he's still alive and well. It's just amazing how this album started a really great thing we do, where about once a month, we spend an entire day just showing one another all the great new music we've discovered. Good Kid just has a special place in my heart as one of the albums that started all of this. Music is such an important part of my life, and this album is an important part of music.

Me and my friend have been fans ever since we first heard Nomu, and I'm so happy you guys made this. Ive never been disappointed with anything you've put out and I'm not with this. Its fucking awesome.
The thing with Good Kid is that just of their songs sound fun, making it easy to write them off as not serious. Yet the upbeat sound of the music belies a level of depth and sophistication just below the surface that is rarely seen in such young musicians. Faster brought me to tears today as I reflected on the meaning of the words. Of course, I could be totally off, but I understand it as a beautifully tragic song about growing older. The first part of both verses are similar, reflecting the cyclical and repetitive nature of time- days, weeks, months, and-in this case- years. The words of the second verse are a little confused, reflecting the deterioration of mind and memory as years pass. Finally, the chorus is a promise, perhaps futile: "I won't forget." Wherever we are going, we will go together. I promise that I won't forget you. I won't forget us. My grandfather passed away this year. He had dementia. He would forget what we were talking about and he would forget what he had for breakfast, but I'm eternally grateful that he never forgot me. It reminds me to savor every moment together with those I love and to make memories worth treasuring. We're not promised anything in this world- even those memories can be taken from us.
I actually recently purchased the bands lyric book and the song is actually about the fast and furious franchise, but I can defiately see where this interpretation comes from. Quite profound UwU

I couldn't tell ya how many times I've listened to this album.. I keep it on loop while doing homework or playing games, these songs just never get old
A friend of mine showed me Alchemist, and I loved it. I went and looked up the EP, and every song is just great! I just love how energetic each song is, and their lyrics are so catchy! The guitars and bass and the drums are amazing, and the vocals are great! This has become one of my favorite EP’s and I’m really glad my friend showed me this band.
"Tell me You Know" feels like a song that I would listen during Summer while I see my crush with another guy and I already accepted that she's actually happy with him..oof..

Found Nomu so very long ago and each single that has come out has been so great. I'm so stoked on getting a full album, keep up the good stuff, not a single bad song in the bunch!
I was in class and decided to open youtube because my class was bored so this came up in my recommendations and it was THE BEST SHIT I FOUND now it's one of my favorite albums. I don't know why they waited so long to recommend it. Now this will make my days happy.
This kept getting recommended to me and I kept putting off watching it. I'm really glad I finally did, Nomu is one of my favorite songs I've ever heard. And even the ones that don't speak to me personally really give me a lot of nostalgia for the kind of music I grew up listening to.
I'm very glad I found this band. I became a rock fan this year and out of all bands I know, this is my favourite for sure. There's no doubt this music makes many people happy, I hope you'll keep working on this. Can't wait to hear more!

this band has become my favorite so quickly that I feel like I got whiplash. Both this and good kid two are my top two eps/albums, are just so amazingly produced, written, and delivered to just create a listening experience that is so insanely surreal. I have been isolated for even more time this summer due to living far away from people and not having many friends even before that, and these two albums are what got me through that. Thank you.
I'm a guy from Brazil, I discovered this album because of the youtube recommendations, usually I don't click and I'm still in my bubble, but this time I thought why not? And bro, what a good decision, I'm in love with this band's songs. Even I don't understand almost any word of the lyrics (I don't speak English) I can see the affection they had when they made them. At the moment this is my favorite band (I know a few bands hahah) But seriously, you guys have a lot to grow, it's just a matter of time before you guys gain a huge community. Dont get me wrong, everything in this ep is incredible, but no song in this ep will live up to witches, the instrumentals are great, your voice blends so perfectly with it, and rythm is so easy to follow. Keep up the good work man, love your songs.

The thing with Good Kid is that just of their songs sound fun, making it easy to write them off as not serious. Yet the upbeat sound of the music belies a level of depth and sophistication just below the surface that is rarely seen in such young musicians.
Faster brought me to tears today as I reflected on the meaning of the words. Of course, I could be totally off, but I understand it as a beautifully tragic song about growing older. The first part of both verses are similar, reflecting the cyclical and repetitive nature of time- days, weeks, months, and-in this case- years. The words of the second verse are a little confused, reflecting the deterioration of mind and memory as years pass. Finally, the chorus is a promise, perhaps futile: "I won't forget." Wherever we are going, we will go together. I promise that I won't forget you. I won't forget us.
My grandfather passed away this year. He had dementia. He would forget what we were talking about and he would forget what he had for breakfast, but I'm eternally grateful that he never forgot me. It reminds me to savor every moment together with those I love and to make memories worth treasuring. We're not promised anything in this world- even those memories can be taken from us.

I couldn't tell ya how many times I've listened to this album.. I keep it on loop while doing homework or playing games, these songs just never get old

A friend of mine showed me Alchemist, and I loved it. I went and looked up the EP, and every song is just great! I just love how energetic each song is, and their lyrics are so catchy! The guitars and bass and the drums are amazing, and the vocals are great! This has become one of my favorite EP’s and I’m really glad my friend showed me this band.

This kept getting recommended to me and I kept putting off watching it. I'm really glad I finally did, Nomu is one of my favorite songs I've ever heard. And even the ones that don't speak to me personally really give me a lot of nostalgia for the kind of music I grew up listening to.

This band feels like the best summer you had with your friends,it reminds you your best times,but you knowing them those are just memories that fades away gives you a bitter sweet taste in your mouth,this is exactly what this group is about, this is why I love them
High school for me was shit, those memories made it better though. Still like to hold on to the thoughts of campfires and tomfuckery we used to get up to before everyone went to college.

Both this and good kid two are my top two eps/albums, are just so amazingly produced, written, and delivered to just create a listening experience that is so insanely surreal. I have been isolated for even more time this summer due to living far away from people and not having many friends even before that, and these two albums are what got me through that. Thank you.
I'm a guy from Brazil, I discovered this album because of the youtube recommendations, usually I don't click and I'm still in my bubble, but this time I thought why not? And bro, what a good decision, I'm in love with this band's songs. Even I don't understand almost any word of the lyrics (I don't speak English) I can see the affection they had when they made them. At the moment this is my favorite band (I know a few bands hahah) But seriously, you guys have a lot to grow, it's just a matter of time before you guys gain a huge community.
