Had to check out more of your covers. Amazing. I did not mean to discount your sidekick. He's really good as well. Understated, but really strong. I think this is better than the original. And that is saying something.
She never mentions the word addiction In certain company Yes, she'll tell you she's an orphan After you meet her family She paints her eyes as black as night now Pulls those shades down tight Yeah she gives a smile when the pain comes The pain gonna make everything alright Chorus: Says she talks to angels They call her out by her name Oh yeah, she talks to angels Says they call her out by her name She keeps a lock of hair in her pocket She wears a cross around her neck Yes the hair is from a little boy And the cross from someone she has not met Not yet Chorus 2: Says she talks to angels Says they all know her name Oh yeah, she talks to angels Says they call her out by her name She don't know no lover None that I ever seen And to her that ain't nothing But to me it means, means everything She paints her eyes as black as night now She pulls those shades down tight Oh yeah there's a smile when the pain comes The pain gonna make everything alright Alright yeah She talks to angels Says they call her out by her name Oh yeah, yeah angels Call her out by her name Oh, oh, oh angels They call her out by her name Oh, she talks to angels They call her out, Yeah, yeah call her out Don't you know that they call her out By her name
As someone who has covered at least two of the songs that I’ve seen you perform… I must say that there were a couple of notes in there that you held longer than the original- and it serves the song so well that I believe that is probably the way it should have been performed by the Crowes… as soon as I heard it- “ah, brilliant” was the reaction in my head. Your pitch is outstanding and the instruments are not “on point”, they are superb well beyond explanation. I am very impressed as an aficionado of 1990’s rock that I can be impressed by something new that is… well- 25ish years old now (let’s not talk about exactly how long). I think you should give a shot to something from 7 Mary 3 in the future and just see how it works out for you- I believe that it will definitely be a great fit for some of the sounds I’ve seen you nail.
Never thought I was gonna write this, but truth will out: the Boondock Boys do this number better than the Crowes themselves. And that comes from a lifelong Crowehead.
I’ve been listening to music now for 55 years I have a pretty good ear , and from the fucking bleachers ,here these guys are the shit , one other group I can honestly stop me dead and say Ahhhhh.... Rival Sons . Good music is an argument with god , argue on

She never mentions the word addiction
In certain company
Yes, she'll tell you she's an orphan
After you meet her family
She paints her eyes as black as night now
Pulls those shades down tight
Yeah she gives a smile when the pain comes
The pain gonna make everything alright
Chorus:
Says she talks to angels
They call her out by her name
Oh yeah, she talks to angels
Says they call her out by her name
She keeps a lock of hair in her pocket
She wears a cross around her neck
Yes the hair is from a little boy
And the cross from someone she has not met
Not yet
Chorus 2:
Says she talks to angels
Says they all know her name
Oh yeah, she talks to angels
Says they call her out by her name
She don't know no lover
None that I ever seen
And to her that ain't nothing
But to me it means, means everything
She paints her eyes as black as night now
She pulls those shades down tight
Oh yeah there's a smile when the pain comes
The pain gonna make everything alright
Alright yeah
She talks to angels
Says they call her out by her name
Oh yeah, yeah angels
Call her out by her name
Oh, oh, oh angels
They call her out by her name
Oh, she talks to angels
They call her out,
Yeah, yeah call her out
Don't you know that they call her out
By her name
Boys - Strong As Death!!!

You SHOULD pray for the aid and protection of your guardian angel, every day. i do now for all of you and me. Amen.
i am an angel and my other heart is human. The first is the fallen kind, raised. Numbers 21:8-9.
Life is only a burden or your heart is very dead.
