i really hope you do more of these. Not just for motion graphics, but for transition templates and stuff. I am always in awe of how they create a template and how theyre able to automate everything for the user, but the creators never show their process
Damn! I thought I'm the only one who download templates only to break them down to know how was it created! feeling proud that I use it the same way you use
Thank you, Jake. This was an excellent way to read a project. I enjoyed watching you dissect the layers. I learned a lot from this. Happy holidays, stay safe, and Happy New Year! ☃🍾🥂😍🇨🇦
I've been watching AE content for years and I must say now the channel I find more useful is yours. Love your style and how balance is your content between easy to understand without loosing complexity. So, thx Jake and thx battle axe (have plenty of your plugins).
Really, really awsome deconstruction and reconstruction made by the same mighty Jack! ❤ It is not by far a one time view tutorial... So good to have you back Jack!
Awesome video. If you do more of these, I'd love to see you repurpose some elements (if possible) in another project. Or maybe change something major, like the camera movement to see what sorts of issues arise, or if it's even worth attempting to mess with those sorts of things in these templates.
Thanks for the cool analysis! I am also studying how the templates that I like were made. I find unusual solutions and design techniques in everyone. I'll add another idea that significantly speeds up the render - rendered footages inside the template. For example, animated strokes in the template from this video can be output in black and white *mp4 footage to use it in the project as a file. So the scene calculation will be faster. The same can be done with another animation that the user does not need to change. I often see that there are already rendered particles in some templates. Because few people will want to change them. Most only need color control. Some authors give 2 versions at once - the original template and the template with rendered footages. I hope these ideas will complement your video :)
Very cool video! IMHO there definintely aren't enough videos about dissecting and troubleshooting complex AE setups. I probably use a template from Envato, Motion Array, etc about once a month...and it's always such a crap shoot when I first open a project to investigate. So Jake, while this was a great video...I did have a little ptsd the whole way...LOL.
oh thats a nice video. One thing - i am just building a template myself and i ran into multi-language expression. He did that well - when you added yours, you didn't. totally ok btw - just a minor hint. BUT relevant when creating a template. Thx again and keep up the good work!
@@JakeInMotion I think any one could do specially you have more experience you may find some interesting ones, another idea is maybe to find patreon or channel subs projects and give your opinion.
Thanks, Jake for this video I've learned a lot from AE templates. AE templates are being made by professional motion designers and Ae artists and because of that, there are always cool and creative things, effects, special approaches to making some creative things or effects on them. I have a question about making AE templates and selling them on Envato, Motion array and etc. as Ae artist to motion designers how much approximately can gain from making these templates and selling them on the internet?
Hey Jake, glad you back. One question, is it a new render sistem in AE 2022 when your coursor stay on last frame but render progress fill from last frame to first?
Multi frame rendering has been fantastic, and the added ability to see how long each layer is taking to render is also nice. Definitely an improvement.
i really hope you do more of these. Not just for motion graphics, but for transition templates and stuff. I am always in awe of how they create a template and how theyre able to automate everything for the user, but the creators never show their process
Please do more of this
I actually love doing this. Videos are great, but having that instant hands-on that I can tweak is so nice.
This video was great! I really love your video ideas
True Comp Duplicator, you mean? I'm in the same boat - you can create some really compelling content with Envato Elements .
Thanks that’s great… Can u please suggest any good plugins useful for envato templates
welcome back jake 😊
Damn!

Had to customize a template for my client, really cool to sift through the hundreds of layers and picking up some tricks.
Thank you, Jake. This was an excellent way to read a project. I enjoyed watching you dissect the layers. I learned a lot from this. Happy holidays, stay safe, and Happy New Year! ☃🍾🥂😍🇨🇦
This is really helpful. I'm setting up templates for my own use and trying to automate things.

I have never used a template before, so that's really insightful for me. Thank you for sharing Jake!
Great video Jake. Videos of dissecting complex After Effects projects are always valuable. Please keep making more videos like these.

Discovered your channel out of nowhere and it is terrific!! Thanks so much for sharing all that knowledge 🙏🏻
Just loved this kinda breakdown video... 😍😍

Learned so much stuff from this, please do more videos like that.
thanks for sharing your experience

Super cool! I hope you do more of this type of video.

Now i've seen this video and loved it, episode 2 when?
Glad you liked it! Take a look at Envato Elements and let me know what template you'd like me to explore next.

Hey Jake, glad you back. One question, is it a new render sistem in AE 2022 when your coursor stay on last frame but render progress fill from last frame to first?
Yep! That's a new feature but you can choose to revert back to the standard way if you prefer.
@@JakeInMotion Thanks, didn't see it in overviews of AE 2022. Is AE 2022 much better for you than previous version?
Multi frame rendering has been fantastic, and the added ability to see how long each layer is taking to render is also nice. Definitely an improvement.
Master Jake, what are your computer specs?
You will soon find out!
@@JakeInMotion Thank you my Lord.
WHAT CAN WE I FARN?
👍👍🎉🎉
Envato only for being sponsored, does not worth a dollar
Dissection someones layers in public just feels wrong. heh
