Brief Lotus Elise S2 update - one take

My 2005 Lotus Elise made exactly one appearance on the channel so far. Here's an update on what's going on with this car and why it hasn't made an appearance on the channel for a while.

What did you like better about your S1?

It might sound odd, but I think the S1 is just a tick more raw than the S2. It’s similar to what they say about Miata’s - the NB is the better car, but the NA is the better Miata/MX5. The S2 is certainly more civilized - I appreciate not having to wear ear plugs to comfortably drive this one to the track like I had to with my S1 when I had the hardtop on it.
Plus, there might be rose tinted glasses at play here, too.

@@garagemoneypit Thanks for the comparison. I quite like my S2, but I was quite charmed by an S1 that I drove recently. It seemed that little bit lighter and more direct. I could see having both.
