I used to work at Michaels and saw these sell often. It is indeed stuff that didn't sell. Christmas is the main reason for these grab bags. They are getting rid of the summer themed items so they can make room for all the Christmas items that will be in the next round of grab bags in February. I hope you are able to make use of all the items. It looks like baking season will be fun at your home. I thought the stars would look nice on the top of a Christmas tree cookie. :)
Yes the kids at my school will be benefiting from majority of these items. I kept a lot and yes baking is a big thing in this house. We used several of the silver, blue and yellow dots for my Son's birthday cake. :D
Thanks for sharing your unbagging with us, Zelma. We all know none of these things are worth the given value, but still. For example that gold leaf; while it's not worth $29.99 it still pays for the entire bag. I can't wait for my loco Michael's to hold one of these events.
Exactly! I sold a lot on ebay and profited $100 and Donated 2 bins full of goodies to the afterschool program. But for the items I kept was worth buying them! I kept a lot haha
I personally love the turquoise pineapples!! lol Some of the stuff was strange but like you said, sell what you can to make your money back and donate to your school!!
First time watching you and I adore your personality! Keep the good work 💕 saw the gold leaf wall decor and was like "omg just what I have been looking for , for my bathroom !!!! I gotta find it!" And as soon as you said the price I was like "nevermind 😅" lol .I will definitely subscribe to you. Greeting from Colorado 👏🏼👌🏼
Hey Theresa here and there is 3 Lion King movies The Lion King, Lion King 1 and a half and Lion King 2 Simba's Pride. The 1 and a half is from Tumon and Pumba's point of view in regards to the first movie. So in other words it is what they are going through before during and after they meet Simba
I had this same items come through my Michael's around the time yours did I got the same things you did and I live in Idaho yes it is worth the $4 just getting excited about opening something that you don't know what is in it I've always been able to find something to use gift or repurpose so it is worth the $4
exactly, There was lots of good stuff people wanted. The school benefitted to a huge lot and I know they have been crafting and making goodies like crazy. My mom just went through my left overs as I'm going through my garage and she got super excited so she went home with some goodies and fun stuff to do with the grands. Imo it was worth it. I sold about $150 on Ebay and still have goodies in my garage that will be going into my garage sale this weekend. :D I kept both Z's of course the little magnet and the Wall letter. All the mosiac boxes. Lots of sprinkles because my daughter likes to bake. I kept 1 travel notebook and sold all the rest they were popular on ebay...
I am planning on stopping by tomorrow. I'll be in town for my post op appt so I'll be taking advantage of the deal again lol :D I've been watching all the new hauls to see what to somewhat expect haha.
I would buy grab bags I party plan and decorate etc etc so it would be worth it to me getting a lot of the items you received in yours the kids at the school will be very happy putting together some of the crafts or even having a themed birthday party
These grab bag videos are fun to watch although it seems like ppl are focusing more on what the original price was than the products. The products are the main event.
Great grab bag haul! I am a new subscriber. We don't have a Michael's in my town. About once a month I go to Des Moines and go to Michael's there! By the time I get to go the grab bags will be gone. Once about 5 or 6 months ago I actually I got to purchase a couple of grab bags. They had lots of ribbon and beads in them. Thank You for sharing!
Right!!! This mini Z was actually a Magnet. My son figured it out haha. I was named after my Greatgrandma Zelma Mae :D I love having a Z name and now it's quite popular to have a Z name but our names is still quite rare. :D
Oh man in the US Z names have become very popular. In fact I know a family who named all 5 of their kids Z names. HAHA I tried to convince her that Zelma was a perfect Z name. This was back in the late 90's Before Z names started to become popular here. Names like Zoey, Zane, Zayden, Zion, and Zander.
They will put them out in bins outside the store and inside the store "at least at my store that is what they did". Most of this was donated to the afterschool program they loved it!!!
I kept the things I wanted, and I sold off many things and made a very nice profit as this was 6 months ago. Everything else was donated to the after-school program and the little kids are really enjoying them. Not conned got what I wanted. :D
I came here to say that, although I figured it would also be read as "bohemian life" because boho means the same thing. In fact I'm pretty sure it came from the friends Bohème
That's a great idea. I donated a Tub of stuff to the school, like all the foam Disney kits, the #1 #2 pictures as they were doing a craft and needed frames. but I still have some that didn't sell. I made my money back plus an extra $75. So now was thinking about donating the rest to the school, I kept all the sugar decor so I think I'll donate those to the after-school program as well as they do a cooking class. Maybe I'll try this with the rest and if they don't sell by March then I'll donate the rest. Thanks for the idea!
Sweet thanks for letting me know. My son is 11 and daughter is 13 so they don't watch cartoons anymore unless it's an animated movie, Ninjago, or Lego lol. We don't have cable or sat so they watch youtube most of the time. lol
I very well could! but My kids are older and chose to not use them lol Most was donated to the school! They were so thankful the afterschool program has been making stuff to sell to fundraise for our local foodbank so it's a gift that keeps on giving!
Ya I'll be happy just to recoup my money and donate the rest :D I kept around $200. My school is excited. I was going to bring it in today but I'm sick. MS and a Cold don't mesh well. lol So hopefully monday.
This haul was from a year ago lol. BUT I sold a bunch on eBay made $100 profit. Then all of those items I said would be donated was and they were so excited to get it all. The after-school program is always in need of crafts.
Ladies, this is not a $1000 value. It is exactly a $4 value. It's full off crap that did not sell when marked down to 90% off retail. It was then marked down to 1cent a piece and packaged together.
Actually they get offered for sale at 80% but once they reach what would be 90% off they get pulled off the shelves and then grab bagged. Nothing gets marked down to a penny any longer.
It would be worth it to me. I would appreciate the journals and the baking goods for myself, and my son's school would think my giving them the majority of the kids crafts is priceless on a rainy day, and for the younger grades. I'd also love the pineapple... and torturing my sister who hates pineapples to the point of not allowing them anywhere near her house, even if everyone but her loves them! So this is your opinion. Any why I wouldn't pay full price? Because that's a lot of money for all that. I can't afford that!
You can also create craft kits with the all the kids crafts and give them as birthday or christmas presents.
Great idea :D Majority of this is being donated but love this :D
My favorite thing was ceramic box thing that has a top that doesn't come off, you said it would of been nice if was a cookie jar. I just loved it.
Awesome finds love all the baking stuff ..I hope I can find some grab bags here in Texas
i loved the travelers notebooks great find xxx

Wow! Nice haul. I have never been at Michaels when they have the grab bags/boxes.
you got amazing deals in those bags. Well done. You are amazing. I loved your video.
School can have themed day , kids come dressed as lion king or nemo characters, and they can do corresponding crafts or they can be prizes
Thanks for sharing your unbagging with us, Zelma. We all know none of these things are worth the given value, but still. For example that gold leaf; while it's not worth $29.99 it still pays for the entire bag. I can't wait for my loco Michael's to hold one of these events.

I live in the UK never saw these bags. but I would love to find that kind of boxes bags if they are in sewing temes that is.
When and where at different times of the year ?
those candies would be so cute as ornaments on tree shaped sugar cookies
I think the grab bags are great, you do get some really nice stuff. First time on you channel. Love your personality.
Thank you so much Sandy :D
My first time also and I enjoyed you very much and your grab bags.🦋🦋
When do they have these grab bags? Everyday or a certain time of year?
Just a few times a year. Normally every spring and fall. At least that is when they do ours.
I personally love the turquoise pineapples!! lol Some of the stuff was strange but like you said, sell what you can to make your money back and donate to your school!!
I have a huge bin for the school. They are excited to have it. I'll be taking it into the school soon. :D
First time watching you and I adore your personality! Keep the good work 💕 saw the gold leaf wall decor and was like "omg just what I have been looking for , for my bathroom !!!! I gotta find it!" Hello there and thanks for watching! Ya I agree with the price. eeek haha
I love the pineapple and great haul wish we had a michaels in our town .
Oh man I wish we had a hobby lobby. I'd be in heaven for sure.
It's probably the summer stock they were trying to get rid of. Ardene in Canada has grab bags but I've never tried it. Lots of stuff you picked up😊
Wonderful video! I wish i lived closer to a michaels, but maybe it's also good i'm farther away as i might get myself into trouble lol.
I had this same items come through my Michael's around the time yours did I got the same things you did and I live in Idaho yes it is worth the $4 just getting excited about opening something that you don't know what is in it I've always been able to find something to use gift or repurpose so it is worth the $4

That's awesome!! Just FYI Michaels had boxes again yesterday I went and got five you should go check your Michaels
I am planning on stopping by tomorrow. I'll be in town for my post op appt so I'll be taking advantage of the deal again lol :D I've been watching all the new hauls to see what to somewhat expect haha.
Good for you to help the schools!
Can we still find these in the stores?
The grab bags maybe depending on how big of a town you live in. As for the items being on the shelf probably not as these were clearanced items
I would buy grab bags I party plan and decorate etc etc so it would be worth it to me getting a lot of the items you received in yours the kids at the school will be very happy putting together some of the crafts or even having a themed birthday party
exactly, I feel the after school kids will have a blast with these items. I live in a town of 400. So anything that helps the school is a big deal. :D
Are you going to sell the seashell decorations? If so, I want to purchase them. 💙🐚
Yes I am, I have them up on ebay but willing to work something out. :D
Does this grab a bag sale go on in Canada too.
I am not sure. Do you have a Michaels there? If so I would assume so.
Zelma N Lyssah yes we do but never heard of it. USA has better sales lucky you
No Canada doesnt do this. We aren't fun lol
Yes canada does. I work at michaels we did this just a few weeks ago.
Kitty Cat ah really n i missed it .. when you do ut again would u know..? Or is this at end of every season
Do you sell or donate the things you don't/won't use?
Yes a huge bin of craft stuff is being donated to my local school. I do have some of it for sale on ebay. :D
These grab bag videos are fun to watch although it seems like ppl are focusing more on what the original price was than the products. The products are the main event.
You can put the # 1 & 2 in your bathroom. :D
I wish we had something like this in the UK.
Great grab bag haul! I am a new subscriber. We don't have a Michael's in my town. About once a month

Let me know if you were able to find some :D
Thank you I will :)
When our name starts with a Z it is rare to find a Z. Great bags of fun, just found your channel... tfs Zelda ☺
Right!!! This mini Z was actually a Magnet. My son figured it out haha. I was named after my Greatgrandma Zelma Mae :D I love having a Z name and now it's quite popular to have a Z name but our names is still quite rare. :D
Zelma N Lyssah I live in Australia, and it is rare to come across another person with a name beginning with Z, hugs Zelda
Oh man in the US Z names have become very popular. In fact I know a family who named all 5 of their kids Z
names. HAHA I tried to convince her that Zelma was a perfect Z name. This was back in the late 90's Before Z names started to become popular here. Names like Zoey, Zane, Zayden, Zion, and Zander.
how do you get them
They will put them out in bins outside the store and inside the store "at least at my store that is what they did". Most of this was donated to the afterschool program they loved it!!!
O.o outside ?
I think u have been conned with prices of those itams
I kept the things I wanted, and I sold off many things and made a very nice profit as this was 6 months ago. Everything else was donated to the after-school program and the little kids are really enjoying them. Not conned got what I wanted. :D
"La vie bohème" means "The gypsy life" in french. It means a life with a free mind. And you said it right.
Awe thank you! :D
I came here to say that, although I figured it would also be read as "bohemian life" because boho means the same thing. In fact I'm pretty sure it came from the friends Bohème
lol... letter 3. did Michaels really write that?
I wish we had things like this in England
Actually the blue thing is an actual jar and the gold top does come off
hmm, mine must have been faulty because the top is fastened strong and won't come off. I feel I'll break it if I keep trying.
Sell as "Grab Bags" on e bay. I will heard the bags and boxes weren't good this year.
That's a great idea. I donated a Tub of stuff to the school, like all the foam Disney kits, the #1 #2 pictures as they were doing a craft and needed frames. but I still have some that didn't sell. I made my money back plus an extra $75. Another lady got the ceramic box and none of her lids came off. Useless. Fun to watch what people are getting.
I love it. Hey it's fun
It was so worth it.
Those lion king characters are from the lion guard kids to show series, it's about simba's son or grandson I believe
Sweet thanks for letting me know. My son is 11 and daughter is 13 so they don't watch cartoons anymore unless it's an animated movie, Ninjago, or Lego lol. We don't have cable or sat so they watch youtube most of the time. lol
its simba's son
Mmmm
There is a lion king tv series
Finding dory and the lion guard. Kion is simbas son. He is the lion your thinking is simba. The bird is bunga
The bird is Ono. Bunga is the honey badger. My boy's love Lion Guard :)
You can have a couple of children's partys.
I very well could! but My kids are older and chose to not use them lol Most was donated to the school! They were so thankful the afterschool program has been making stuff to sell to fundraise for our local foodbank so it's a gift that keeps on giving!
Wooowwwww!!!! Great deal hon xoxo

All I saw was a bunch of junk. I hope the school appreciates your donation.
This haul was from a year ago lol. BUT I sold a bunch on eBay made $100 profit. Then all of those items I said would be donated was and they were so excited to get it all. The after-school program is always in need of crafts.
Donate the stuff to the Schools.....
