    Good stuff. The sticking at the end from your opponent being tense is the same thing we work on in Choy Li Fut.

    This is real Wing Chun art with great concepts and theories. Not the nonsense bullshit that we all see when its Wing Chun vs MMA or something. Wing Chun was always an art of self defense, not sport. Because Wing Chun would be limited with sport environment and not be used to the full extent. Great video, I enjoy watching Adam Chan's videos.

      Mma fighters don’t use their full capabilities in a match either. In a serious fight those boys are dangerous. They just use a ring as very serious practice. If someone broke into their house…
      Those guys that get trashed by mma are lucky they have an opportunity to face reality. Undeniable reality!

    Showing how movements in forms apply in actual use is a great way to make some one better appreciate and understand why forms are part of martial arts.

    I trained Tae Kwondo when I was kid, in street fight it’s different. Also in small spaces it’s hard to kick..., so I tried to develop myself better .
    A fighter is not good or bad.., it’s sometimes luck, timing or situation which either helps him or destroys him.
    I don’t fight anymore but advocate peace for humans, animals and everyone.
    I respect your style of reaching sir

    He has a fresh and good perspective I like the ideas. It sometimes takes a village his teachings better than a lot of them I actually will hit with the upside down Palm from the side on the jaw after Tan. It's true that it is an upwards elbow block and it makes a lot of sense the way he's using it, retrap but with a lift ... Great!
    I understand why that's a good idea ... Several good points.

    You're such a great teacher (best maybe I've seen so far) the upward elbow idea is truly great. I really liked it but you said if I hit like this I can also get hit during an outside edge blocking centerline punch ... But wait, how can you ... I don't understand. If you cut the angle right and take centerline can you get hit?
    Do you mean if it doesn't go well?
    I'd get that. I don't understand.

    Wing chun and every other maryial arts really shouldn't be used like that. You should only attack for maximum of 3 times to knock the guy out.. Always go for the head..

    Only pay for gyms that train professional fighters. Aikido, Bullshito, and this guy are training noobs and they are amazed. Pros laugh at this guy. It's BS

      @RAWSNL it works if you do sparring (both light and hard) periodically.

    • @TheRomanianWolf
      @TheRomanianWolf 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @RAWSNL Exactly. You need to spar with different people, with different skills (boxing, muay thai, etc.).
