Grant Writing 101

This webinar outlines basic steps to take in preparing any kind of funding proposal, and provides guidance to help organizations think through their project design and get their program organized. As a 36 year veteran of non-profit management, Jane Browning presents around the country on effective grantwriting. She is the former Executive Director of the Learning Disabilities Association of America and spent ten years as Executive Director of the Arkansas Endowment for the Humanities, a grant-making state-based affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.

This is so instructional that I have one question and one thing to say. First, why does this page only have a little over 7,000 people subscribed and it's been on TH-cam for over 2 years? Well, to answer that question, it shows with how much people are going back and forth against nothing that shouldn't matter than fixing the problem. I looked this up because I have a Program that I would like to start up and until I saw this video, I thought the 90 pages of my Program would be enough, I now see where I need to organize what its about and have what you told me ready so when I will need a grant, right now, I see that I will just have to try to push this Program in my spare time. I think I have the knowledge, some of the people and places that I could utilize so that a can have a track record to show. I know it will work because I've been through everything I want to do in the Program. Prison, drug addiction, business owner, supervisor in Blue and White Collar jobs for 25 years! I've seen what works and see how what doesn't work may be turned around to work. My Program will be based on empowering people to take more of a notice of their communities.
Second, I said I had a question. How do I find the statics that I will need from, usually the city, county, state have out dated information and I have searched the web and people are just up to no good when it comes to anything, putting incorrect, plagiarist and irreverent statics on the web.
