I’m impartial to the LRS. But I sure did love the breakout!

I love being exactly 6 foot tall and 185 lbs because it seems like every bike is made exactly for me. I can ride mids or forwards both comfortably and I can ride a Iron 883 or a Breakout 117 both comfortably. I'm really greatful to be the exact build most manufacturers build there rider triangles for. Only thing I still kick myself over is not getting into riding at a much earlier age. I've always wanted to ride but couldn't quite afford to buy anything until my 30s when I had more financial stability. Now I just turned 40 and still feel youthful and healthy but definitely not like my 20s. I definitely feel the decline kicking into 2nd gear. 😂 I never knew my pelvis or hips could be sore before. 😂 Oh well, I ride now and my next bike purchase will be this next off season during winter deals and it will be a new Breakout 117 in either vivid black, white or billiard grey. Undecided on color yet cuz they all look great! I'm actually surprised at how well the billiard grey looks on the Breakout! I didn't think I liked that color until I saw it in person. Nice mid ground between white and black and goes so well with the black and chrome on Breakout!
I think the new Breakout is Harleys most beautifully done bike and has a ton of nice features and I gotta say, as someone who never was a big chrome fan, the chrome on the Breakout has to be one of the best iterations of chrome ive seen on any bike. It looks youthful and not tacky and old timer feeling like previous Harleys with chrome. It's done very well straight from factory and I'm a huge fan of the chrome on this bike now and it's one of the main selling points for me besides the 117 engine, 240 rear tire and 21 inch front raked out just enough. Those wheels really sell it too and the engine of course especially with the polished ends on the fins that look chrome almost (maybe it is chrome, not polish). Just a masterpiece straight from the factory! I will get the 10 inch fused lo bars first thing and some detachable bags and windshield when I take it for a Road trip to Daytona once a year but besides that and some minor changes maybe to smoked lenses and leds, I will keep it mostly stock. Might do some SE slip ons just to get a slight bump in sound and stage 1 tune but this time I don't really want super loud and super modded like my previous bikes. I want super clean and smooth this time around and mostly stock. I love the air breather too especially in chrome. I just really love this bike!

I agree. It’s a beautiful bike. Obviously I’m biased to the LRS since that’s what my channel is mainly about, but as I said in this video, I’d straight up have a Breakout as another bike if I had to choose. It was awesome to ride. Looked great, felt great. Classic but not grandpa-ish lol. Hopefully you’ll get one!!!

Very curious to find out if you thought the “snorkel” air cleaner got in the way, with factory HD forward controls. I got rid of mine when I first got my used LRS because it was damaged, but wondering if it could work, if I ever went back. TIA👍

Since 2023 models....Ive been checking out the Breakouts with the 5 gal tank and the 117 engine...Being 6ft 255lbs i need foward controls...I love the Chopper style look and riding style...I miss my 2010 Wide glide but i got rid of it because i ride the interstate with that Skinny 21 in front wheel it gets caught in the rain grooves on the road...But with the Breakouts 130 21in front tire it wouldnt have that problem...I am think all need to do would put the Windvest brand handlebar mounted shield and some chrome saddlebag supports with some large leather throwover saddlebags and i can hit the open road...

Beautiful bike. Hopefully one day. Only thing is by the time you get it OTD it's high 20s. I may be wrong but I thought I saw halogen lights. If that is right, I mean, come on, all that money and halogen lights!

Hi, thanks for your cool video! I think it's very good that you test bikes with tall riders in mind. I myself am 6'3 tall and am looking for bikes that fit me from the factory if possible. Like you, I have quite long legs. So on most bikes I look like I'm riding a kids bike :D

when you ride a break out you have to dial the suspension to your weight, or of course its going to suck, hate that it doesn't have dual fron breaks.

There was a guy about your height that also demo’d it. He loved the forwards on it. I’d suggest going to the dealer and just sitting on one. Maybe even test drive if they’ll allow.
