Cooking Rice in a Mini STAUB Cocotte?

    INGREDIENTS
    • ¼ cup Jasmine rice
    • ½ cup water
    INSTRUCTIONS:
    1.) Begin by rinsing the rice under room temperature water 3x or until the water runs clear. Add the cooking water
    2.) Heat over medium-high heat until it reaches a boil. Once boiling, give it a quick stir then reduce the heat to a simmer and let it cook for 10 minutes. Do not open the lid from this point!
    3.) Turn off the heat and allow the rice to steam with the cover on for 15-17 minutes
    4.) Fluff the rice with a fork or serving spoon and serve along with your favorite dish. Enjoy!

    Did you get 1 cup of cooked rice or more? This looks like a good option for making a single serving of rice.

      Barely reaching 1 full cup. If you are hungry? You will be needing more for sure 😁😅
