- Bohémienne by Noa from Notre Dame de Paris. I had no idea how to get video clips to work on my editing program when I made this. Im sorry, I didn't use actual video footage. I'll re-do this someday :)

Qui mieux que NOA peut chanter cette chanson ? Qui ???! Une voix parfaite , sur mesure à la perfection pour cette chanson ET le personnage ! BRAVO
Je prefere Noa qu'a Helene. meme si jaime bcp Helene, mais Noa a une meilleure interpretation je trouve.

Et bien moi, je préfère Noa depuis la création de Notre Dame de Paris , très belle voix , riche, douce, je regrette d' ailleurs que Noa n' est pas participée sur scène à Paris à la comédie musicale !

@@grandamcollection9262 Elle a abandonné de sa propre volonté car elle avait peur de ne pas maîtriser assez les subtilités de la langue française de ce que j'ai cru comprendre

Noa definitely has an incredible voice and sings this song beautifully. Respect from me! But, I think since Noa eventually didn't play Esmeralda and Hélène did, and the whole show was so successful, people won't mind Noa dropping out at all :P
By the way, I don't want to spoil the story... But if you read the book, you'll discover Esmeralda probably doesn't look like Noa

I didn't say Helene's voice is bad or can't be compared with this Noa ...I'm just saying that she fits the character better . Esmeralda was raised by gypsy , it's clear that she might have an accent.

But, originally Esmerelda was French girl that was abducted into the gypsy colony...she was never Spanish.

There is no way Elene Segara could ever reach the expression and voice of Noa. She is more beautifull - as a woman. But if you want to feel this music, I would suggest: listen Hoa not Helene. Sorry no hard feelings.
Totally agree. She lives this song through. I feel the soul in her enterpritation of this song. Only listening to this version, I really see the mountains of Andolusia. Sorry for my, probably, bad English

I think Noa has more of the Esmeralda look, but I think Helene has Esmeralda voice! Noa's is a little to dark and sad.
I have to disagree because Esmeralda is a French orphan that was adopted by the gypsies so I think Helene fit that perfectly.
Dont get me wrong, Helene is definitly my favourite Esmeralda. I just sometimes think Noa looks like I imagine her to look.

ciao sono di origini frencesi. prima che il musical di cocciante uscisse in italia usci in francia anni prima....il cd è fatto quasi interamente da noa
Noa avrebbe dovuto interpretare Esmeralda nella variante in francese quando tutto e cominciato, nel 1998, ma finalmente fu Helene Segara a diventare Esmeralda...
Infatti, inizialmente Noa doveva interpretare Esmeralda ma alla fine non ha potuto fare la commedia quindi Hélène Segara è stata scelta al suo posto.

Hélène is a good singer, but not the right Esmeralda. Her voice is too harsh and cold for the character of a teenage girl.

Helene has more gentle voice than Noa. Helene looks more beautiful than Noa. Helene is the best Esmeralda.

2Gently6 I actually disagree, I love Helene and for me she is a true beautiful esmeralda, but for me, Noa's voice is more free and gypsy like and more playful (I think is the word). Helene is beautiful and has a magnificent voice but Noa has a more gypsy voice. But esmeralda is also young and Helene's voice is younger so it's hard to choose, but I wouldn't change Helene as esmeralda at all. (Sorry for my bad English)

Moreover, Segara is by herself a shitty artist. I dislike her sensiblery.
Worse than Mylene Farmer, whom I forgive because SHE at least is a good artist.
Valérie Van Mol I agree Helene is not a good actress, but I like her image as esmeralda and she sings beautiful (in my opinion) I do agree with you, honestly I do, but her image is beautiful and as far as we know, Noa might have not been too good herself. Helene's voice is beautiful.
