Unrealistically good. Years of playing. Years. Quit in S15, came back when solos came again. Was playing for a month, then went back to my other hobbies.

Exactly AND I dunno what or how it make sense but I empty my entire clip on these enemies and no damage at all (even recorded it) I spent a decent amount of time going from trash to decent so when I see all my effort means nothing when my hits don't register despite landing all the shots on them (even recorded it) then what even is the point?
I almost feel like quitting too. Even mixtape lobbies seem to be getting bad. It's like nobody can fight without 3 people shooting at you and a Wattson with a full area set up, every round.
This is basically why I quit. Mechanics mean nothing and nobody wants to brawl and style, they wanna be sweaty little pussy nerds and sit behind traps and rat. It is literally just not an enjoyable experience fighting a fuse , catalyst, Wattson etc every single fight like, game isn’t even about gun play anymore. Then there’s the cheating. Servers. Aim assist. Audio and like ya, fuck apex 😂😭
I used of play Apex daily for hours... Now its just once a month. They should just sell the IP to Epic games so they can remake it in U5 and and do legit collabs _😂_
Just upgraded to Source Engine 2 would be fine but IP like Apex and Titianfall shouldn't be under publisher like EA it should be under a publisher want the best live service game for players to enjoy and experience and that not EA

Honestly, this is a good idea. I understand people love source and that the movement in Apex feels great, but, at least on a new engine it won't be so bloated they're forced to run all the games on 20 tick-rate. Not to mention how bad Respwn has become due to years of EA hurt. EDIT: It's also evidently a lot easier to implement anti-cheat that actually works on Unreal.
I quit aswell... One of the best games at launch had such a high potential and they killed it. I remember playing diamond masters lobbies having fun and now you cant enjoy a simple ranked match. You arn't alone in these feelings you will always make good content and I look forward to seeing this new content.

As you said, the games coming upto 6 years old. The team behind it has all changed. I think the thing that has caused the major drop off or disinterested is not listening to the community, and giving us stuff we don't want ( ridiculous expensive skins that don't feel natural) I have sunk days and days into this game. But like alot of people this past year I've put about as many games into it as I used to in one season. It just doesn't feel as fun anymore. Anyway, rant over! Ggs for all the videos man. 👍🏼

Been watching you since your first Apex videos, Zeus. I was there when you organised the server takeover of Kings Landing where all the players assembled without fighting (save for one or two jerks) and we did all the crazy stuff. Truly one of the coolest things to happen in Apex. Watching you hot drop the OG skulltown game after game is one of my best memories in gaming, and me and my mates followed suit. Thanks for all the content over the years! I’ll keep watching you in SND (I switched from Apex to CoD a while back!) - I always enjoyed your breaks from Apex to go play WZ/CoD.

I'm a Season 3 player, I called it quits about a month or so ago. I agree with you Zeus, this was one of the best shooter games I've ever played. Even though I never had the skill to make it to Masters or Pred, it still used to offer enough of a fair challenge and rewarding outcomes to make it worthwhile to improve and keep trying Season after Season. This season was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. There is something significantly off with the game this season. Maybe their goal is to run off the veterans, so there is nobody left to compare the new Apex against the good old days. Good luck in your future endeavors!
I quit a month ago, im a casual player since season 4, and while i had fun,the fun stopped around season 21, i took a break for a couple seasons to focus on my studies in college. But coming back to season 21, the SBMM was and still is horrible. I come home after a long day of work ready to relax and have fun playing Apex, only tobget stuck with teamates who are level 15 and 41, while the champion squad is a trio of triple stack preds cleaning out the entire lobby. I stopped having fun and the game became stressful to play, plus every other game Apex crashes or my squad gets wiped out by cheaters or a triple stacked pred squad. I used to be happy to come home after work and play Apex, but now i moved on to Fortnite and Warzone and im having a better time on those games. Apex was fun, but the horrible SBMM and cheaters killed it, plus EA's greed is also why Apex is dying and why i stopped playing also.
I'm a day one too! I haven't played any game like this and it was awesome. I used to actually look forward to playing apex and climbing the ranks. It actually felt like you were obtaining something and getting better. But with the player base dropping and having to sweat in every game mode- Its just not fun. Most of my friends stopped playing it. But I've loved watching you and Janks. Its been real!

I've quit 2 weeks ago, but I tried to give it one more chance yesterday. Went into the game, crashed entering a ranked game with some "anti-cheat error" idk, got a 10min. penalty. Gave one more chance after 10min., randomly solo q'ed into ranked - cold quitted, uninstalled 😅 Thanks for one of the best Apex content Zeus!

it's so frustrating - I started in season 1 day 1 and paused/stopped 4 seasons ago in the hope it was going to get sorted but clearly Apex either can't or won't fix the issue. I played for 1 week in whatever season had Ash and quit, the season before that I only made it to level 37 in the battlepass when I did 110 all seasons before that, I just wasn't enjoying the game anymore and had enough of it. Zeus was literally the only person from Apex that I still watched lol
Same here, bro! I don’t play Apex Legends like I used to in past seasons. Last season, I barely even played an hour here and there, and so far this season, I’ve only jumped into Apex a few times - and not even for BR, just the other game modes. I’m on console, and even there, hackers bypass the PC-console threshold like it’s nothing, joining console lobbies lol. Then you’ve got people using strike pads for better aim assist, toxic players, racist randoms, and all that - it’s just killed my interest in playing Apex altogether. I’ve always been a casual player, been here since S1, but I’ve never had the time to grind ranks. At this point, I’d rather spend my gaming time with open-world-single-player games than sit for 4 to 6 hours a day playing Apex. So yeah, I totally feel you. Oh, and even though I don’t play Apex much anymore, I still enjoy watching Jankz, Spoken, Stay, and your videos. Honestly, I have more fun watching you guys than playing Apex these days! Never been a fan myself but I picked up a copy earlier today and my god was i having an amazing time. I would personally recommend it. And as much as I hate to admit, Apex Legends helps play a roll in controlling your movements. Apex is fast paced but COD from my viewpoint looks to be more about being swiftly decisive in how you handle against other players. Shoot quick and move quick and think quick. It’s super fun.

it did hurt seeing the title but i understand, i was a season 0 player and i stopped a hot minute ago and tried to come back multiple times but it just never changes either cheaters are perfect aiming you from a mile or two away without missing a shot or i get the mlg pro who goes off on his own immediately and dies and quits or i get teammates who like to be together even while looting taking my shit it gets old especially when the devs only care about how much money they can make on skins that dont matter or are actually ptw
i was never a day one player but i did start in season 1, i quit only a few weeks ago and if im honest it feels good. The depressing thing is the fact that it had so much potential and it did realize this potential in a few seasons i think (i can't remember since its been a long time) but now the game is on its last legs. Its kinda sad to see.

dropped the game after they announced the battle pass changes. I know they walked it back but after all the other problems I am not coming back until they do some huge overhaul, or they announce it's shutting down so I'll get back on one last time. I have almost 2k hours in the game, played genuinely daily from around season 3 to when I quit. I did play day one but didn't play daily until s3.
I'm new, only been playing Apex a year, I ended up playing because I have a friend who has played since the beginning. It's a struggle for me, I'm pretty much a dumb bot in terms of my skill level... never been good at games that can get this sweaty. Same. I started Apex as the first non-solo I game I ever played regularly in S17 , ended with 3.7K+ hours, 12.5K+ games as a D1 Wattson main and I quit last season. The game is just money hungry and broken now.

With over 7k Hours in the game since Launch date, now I only keep it installed to play Community Private Lobby on the weekends with some friends- It has this air to it that's like the OG CoD/Halo days of smack talking between rounds and stoking up a rivalry each match with the same players. But I just cannot for the life of me play pubs, ranked or even normal mixtape in this state- I'm so tired of this negligence and nonsense from EA, even if it is one of the best games of all time.

Game started falling off a long time ago for me, but I still played to appease my brother and nephews. Stuck it out for as long as I could and it was a season or 2 after Arenas left I started veering away more. I got sick of it when they started slapping recolor heirlooms where their originality fell WAY off. I'm enjoying myself in other games, grinding them out with some new homies, even some homies from apex on other games now. Also, not mad about the new BO6. Can definitely see myself coming back to it vs other CODs in the past. Can't wait to see what it holds for you brother!💙

Hard to see you leave the game too but we all have to at some point. Don’t be sad that it’s over, be happy it happened.

As you said, the games coming upto 6 years old. The team behind it has all changed. I think the thing that has caused the major drop off or disinterested is not listening to the community, and giving us stuff we don't want ( ridiculous expensive skins that don't feel natural)
I have sunk days and days into this game. But like alot of people this past year I've put about as many games into it as I used to in one season. It just doesn't feel as fun anymore.

I quit playing Apex several seasons ago and now the only time I see Apex content is when I watch your videos. As long as you put out the same type / style of content (tbag TTVs etc.) I'll keep tuning in regardless of which game it is.

Been watching you since your first Apex videos, Zeus. I was there when you organised the server takeover of Kings Landing where all the players assembled without fighting (save for one or two jerks) and we did all the crazy stuff. Truly one of the coolest things to happen in Apex. Watching you hot drop the OG skulltown game after game is one of my best memories in gaming, and me and my mates followed suit.
Thanks for all the content over the years! I’ll keep watching you in SND (I switched from Apex to CoD a while back!) - I always enjoyed your breaks from Apex to go play WZ/CoD.

I'm a Season 3 player, I called it quits about a month or so ago.
I agree with you Zeus, this was one of the best shooter games I've ever played. Even though I never had the skill to make it to Masters or Pred, it still used to offer enough of a fair challenge and rewarding outcomes to make it worthwhile to improve and keep trying Season after Season.
This season was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. There is something significantly off with the game this season. Maybe their goal is to run off the veterans, so there is nobody left to compare the new Apex against the good old days.

I quit a month ago, im a casual player since season 4, and while i had fun,the fun stopped around season 21, i took a break for a couple seasons to focus on my studies in college. But coming back to season 21, the SBMM was and still is horrible. I come home after a long day of work ready to relax and have fun playing Apex, only tobget stuck with teamates who are level 15 and 41, while the champion squad is a trio of triple stack preds cleaning out the entire lobby. I stopped having fun and the game became stressful to play, plus every other game Apex crashes or my squad gets wiped out by cheaters or a triple stacked pred squad. I used to be happy to come home after work and play Apex, but now i moved on to Fortnite and Warzone and im having a better time on those games. Apex was fun, but the horrible SBMM and cheaters killed it, plus EA's greed is also why Apex is dying and why i stopped playing also.

It actually felt like you were obtaining something and getting better. But with the player base dropping and having to sweat in every game mode- Its just not fun. Most of my friends stopped playing it. But I've loved watching you and Janks. Its been real!

The state of Apex is so sad right now. I started later than most and even I can see how badly its degraded over time. Thousands of hours, hundreds of dollars, all for the final goodbye to bittersweet.

I've quit 2 weeks ago, but I tried to give it one more chance yesterday. Went into the game, crashed entering a ranked game with some "anti-cheat error" idk, got a 10min. penalty. Gave one more chance after 10min., randomly solo q'ed into ranked - cold quitted, uninstalled 😅

it's so frustrating - I started in season 1 day 1 and paused/stopped 4 seasons ago in the hope it was going to get sorted but clearly Apex either can't or won't fix the issue. Your skills ( and crazy/amusing videos) have kept me entertained since I stopped, but now even the Pro player's like yourself are needing to walk. What a shame and how foolish of Apex to see it end so.
12k hours in, started season 3, i have started to feel the same way and maybe move on for a while, possibly forever because the game is now dated! Apex isn't what it was and it makes me a little bit upset about what is happening to the game i love and played for years to cheer me up! I appreciate the entertainment you gave us on Apex! I played for 1 week in whatever season had Ash and quit, the season before that I only made it to level 37 in the battlepass when I did 110 all seasons before that, I just wasn't enjoying the game anymore and had enough of it.

Same here, bro! I don’t play Apex Legends like I used to in past seasons. Last season, I barely even played an hour here and there, and so far this season, I’ve only jumped into Apex a few times - and not even for BR, just the other game modes.
I’m on console, and even there, hackers bypass the PC-console threshold like it’s nothing, joining console lobbies lol. Then you’ve got people using strike pads for better aim assist, toxic players, racist randoms, and all that - it’s just killed my interest in playing Apex altogether. I’ve always been a casual player, been here since S1, but I’ve never had the time to grind ranks. At this point, I’d rather spend my gaming time with open-world-single-player games than sit for 4 to 6 hours a day playing Apex. So yeah, I totally feel you.
Oh, and even though I don’t play Apex much anymore, I still enjoy watching Jankz, Spoken, Stay, and your videos. Honestly, I have more fun watching you guys than playing Apex these days! So keep it up!

Never been a fan myself but I picked up a copy earlier today and my god was i having an amazing time. I would personally recommend it.
And as much as I hate to admit, Apex Legends helps play a roll in controlling your movements. Apex is fast paced but COD from my viewpoint looks to be more about being swiftly decisive in how you handle against other players. Shoot quick and move quick and think quick. It’s super fun.
sad to see you leave but I've done the same myself I quit apex last month and I was a week one player of apex. The downfall of this game needs to be recorded becomes they were sitting on a gold mine just to throw it away because they got greedy and didn't care about the playerbase

Played since season 2 and gave up 5 months ago, I just couldn’t anymore the game died years ago and I was clinging on open for a rebirth.
The first apex legends creator i started watching its truly sad to see apex coming to this and pushing people away, end of an era. But always most important to have fun in what a person does and what you're playing. Really enjoyed all the apex content but won't lie some SND COD sounds pretty good too. Can't wait for that either. it did hurt seeing the title but i understand, i was a season 0 player and i stopped a hot minute ago and tried to come back multiple times but it just never changes
either cheaters are perfect aiming you from a mile or two away without missing a shot or i get the mlg pro who goes off on his own immediately and dies and quits or i get teammates who like to be together even while looting taking my shit
it gets old especially when the devs only care about how much money they can make on skins that dont matter or are actually ptw
i was never a day one player but i did start in season 1, i quit only a few weeks ago and if im honest it feels good. The depressing thing is the fact that it had so much potential and it did realize this potential in a few seasons i think (i can't remember since its been a long time) but now the game is on its last legs. Its kinda sad to see.

dropped the game after they announced the battle pass changes. I know they walked it back but after all the other problems I am not coming back until they do some huge overhaul, or they announce it's shutting down so I'll get back on one last time. I have almost 2k hours in the game, played genuinely daily from around season 3 to when I quit. I did play day one but didn't play daily until s3.
I'm new, only been playing Apex a year, I ended up playing because I have a friend who has played since the beginning. It's a struggle for me, I'm pretty much a dumb bot in terms of my skill level... never been good at games that can get this sweaty. That said even with only just starting the game I agree wholeheartedly with your criticisms and wish you the best with future work pal. Looking forward to seeing what you do in COD.
Same. I started Apex as the first non-solo I game I ever played regularly in S17 , ended with 3.7K+ hours, 12.5K+ games as a D1 Wattson main and I quit last season. The game is just money hungry and broken now.
I quit a year ago after over 4K hours. The game is trash now. I don’t regret quitting.

With over 7k Hours in the game since Launch date,
now I only keep it installed to play Community Private Lobby on the weekends with some friends- It has this air to it that's like the OG CoD/Halo days of smack talking between rounds and stoking up a rivalry each match with the same players.
But I just cannot for the life of me play pubs, ranked or even normal mixtape in this state-
I'm so tired of this negligence and nonsense from EA, even if it is one of the best games of all time.

Game started falling off a long time ago for me, but I still played to appease my brother and nephews. Stuck it out for as long as I could and it was a season or 2 after Arenas left I started veering away more. I got sick of it when they started slapping recolor heirlooms where their originality fell WAY off. I'm enjoying myself in other games, grinding them out with some new homies, even some homies from apex on other games now.
Also, not mad about the new BO6. Can definitely see myself coming back to it vs other CODs in the past. Can't wait to see what it holds for you brother!💙
