Why would they only target two people and not like 1 from each squad making the game randomly just come to an abrupt end? I'd bet the reason they were targeted was because they were the only two able to be exploited like that. Downloading a cheat can literally give a backdoor for the developer of the cheat. Same as with cracked software. If ever you've dowloaded a cracked copy of anything, then you've exposed yourself to quite a bit of grief. You don't know what that person did other than crack the software. You honestly think they cracked it and made it available for free out of the kindness of their heart? I was sleeping for 4 hours on average, been overweight, high cholesterol and blood pressure. Loser mess at 25. One day, uninstalled, went on a walk. Started calisthenics and never played again. Beautiful decision for me personally.
It's not just people in pred lobbies that are cheating, there are people across all the ranks cheating - the biggest form of cheats i've come across are wall hacks / aim bots. It doesnt matter how many time you report them, they pretty much never get banned. So yea, I totally agree. I really can't see this game staying alive for many more seasons at the moment.

Why would a company like respawn not be legally going ofter people monetizing a service that defaces their game, and lowers success of their product? Look into a game like ark and their publisher snail games. Ark ascended dropped and had the most broken cheats day 1 with cheat websites with planned marketing offering free 3 day trials. 100% snail games sold those cheats themselves. Teleporting projectile aimbot with no limit range, day 1, so shooting through walls and mesh across the map and a search bar for any player. Who produced those cheats in under 24 hours of release? Had to be someone with early access... meaning a dev. Whether its a matter of the whole company being in it, the people at the top, or just some devs trying to make their own quick buck, id put money on it that someone at respawn is in on selling the cheat service.
If the money stops the game dies. Everyone keeps saying to just boycott it. Think about that reasonably it's EA if a multi-player game isn't making money they axe the servers. If noone buys anything then they kill the game
Why did they make the ranked level cap 20 is the real question? What in the fuck were Respawn thinking? They need to make it 100 or some shit so these cheaters need to play for days to make new cheater ranked accounts.
i think when they reverted back to the old system, they dropped it back to 20. I'm pretty sure they increased it to 50 a couple of seasons ago. Not sure if it was on purpose or not, but at this point in the season i think it was on purpose. I figured they would switch it back as soon as they realized it's back at 20. Unless they plan on waiting for the split or next season. Which is dumb if they are waiting.

The saddest part about all of this is that thos company just keeps taking your money and nothing is getting done or will get done. I'm starting to believe that these companies like EA and Respawn are putting the cheats out themselves to make money off of it because they'll make more money with selling cheats than they will will in game cosmetics.

Ah, I started wondering what happened to the players at my level and why my lobbies are full of people who seemingly simply forgot how to miss their shots.
As a software engineer the bots are not badly programmed. I'd say they're programmed really well. Instead of going all out and adding tracking and advanced movement, just lock on to the closest target and shoot once damage is received. It's effective because there's less code to maintain and less edge cases. A decent programmer could very easily do something like this if they're familiar with how Apex handles variables in memory.

EU is basically unplayable lately, my squad and me are all multi season Master players and we have never struggled this much to rank up. Every single game is just people walling and more often than not they don't even bother trying to hide it, just like it was in your Mirage clip in the beginning. It's genuinely so frustrating because this season started off so fun too.
The LTM lobbies filled with AI bots is literally people training the AI. It affects no stats and the more you kill them and shoot them the more they learn.
I literally got perma banned from EVERY EA TITLE just for saying lil broke ass in game chat to a console player on apex. Guess I should have just cheated instead.
My Apex experience for the past year or so is coming back on after a long month of being tired of the game, booting up Battle Royale after some mixtape as a warm-up/prerequisite to have games that I don't do super terribly in, and then getting shat on for like 10 games in a row while dropping three to no kills. Then I'm left wondering why I even bothered getting on in the first place. For a long while I just accepted that I was just completely ass at the game but hearing about all these apparent cheaters on both PC and consoles and how just a year and a half ago I wasn't doing nearly half this bad is slowly changing my mind to that the realization that: yeah this game just sucks.

i enjoyed more this system than last one where you need to hide to rank up and you get fustrated by being in 14th, imho kill to rank up is the way things must work in a BR game, you learn how to kill, you improve and people wont get mad easily for losing points, last season many people yelled at me for hidding and trying to rank to gold

you can be good just have fun, most cheaters have cheats but they dont know how to fight, you can outsmart them with a good aim above average and some tricks like shooting from the right most of the time instead of the left, you get less damage on the right than in the left, being aggressive enough is always good instead of hidding and knowing when to move is also a good idea, a master player i met made ranking easier and funny by just talking, fighting and moving, is funnier that way and you wont notice cheaters
I dont play Apex anymore, I just watch your streams and videos because I love the toxicity mixed with the wholesomeness, and the pinch of anti American nonsense because you went to LA once and didnt enjoy it.

PS5 defaults to cross platform and if you change the setting to play against only console, you will be waiting in the lobby for a game that will never start. So 100% there are cheaters on console because you are more less forced to play against PC players just to get a game

100% cheat dev's are making more money than EA off Apex. EA grossed an estimated US$1.3b in '23 off Apex. At $10 a day for a cheat, I recon it's not hard to believe that there's more than 300,000 people walling and aimbotting their way around in a day. 400,000 concurrent players, the actual active players on PC are in the many millions. Not a developer, or a coder. But there has to be a way of a bit of game logic to say if someone has a accurancy percentage > 90% over the course of an hour, then flag them for review. Of if their lifetime accuracy is 30% and then suddenly it's tracking at 95% they gotta go. But then again, EA is probably financing the cheat devs...we all know they love a dollar.

you can buy level 50 accounts that are afk farmed for five bucks all over the internet so it doesn't really matter about what lvl accounts are

Id quit completely brother, this game is the Titanic right now, in following weeks I'll be done with this game, it's been run into the ground, Devs don't update important things, staff are being fired, too many Micro transactions, Cheaters are running Beyond rampant, throw in disconnection issues and laggy gameplay and it's not making a comeback anytime soon, it's going down hard.
EA banned me for 3 days last year with no warning for having the name violentfemme which I had been using for 2 years. 2 months ago I got perma banned for typing 'am I the last mnk'er, fck this sht'. I lost my 20k kill fusey and my comment wasn't even aimed at a player. Sad 'cos this game helped with my depression and anxiety (killing time, keeping busy) and it's just become a rigged bloody game!
This game being destroyed by cheaters has sent me into a spiraling depression... I'm not sure things will ever get better... I guess it's just time I give up on video games.... it will never be a fair fight again.... only ever blatant cheaters....

Ah, I started wondering what happened to the players at my level and why my lobbies are full of people who seemingly simply forgot how to miss their shots.
As a software engineer the bots are not badly programmed. I'd say they're programmed really well. Instead of going all out and adding tracking and advanced movement, just lock on to the closest target and shoot once damage is received. It's effective because there's less code to maintain and less edge cases. A decent programmer could very easily do something like this if they're familiar with how Apex handles variables in memory.
I think the logic is also based on the x,y cords of the player model. If they were hit at x1,y1 target that cord and fire. Simple yet effective.
Ea doesn’t ban cheaters but I got banned for arguing with a troll who was griefing.

EU is basically unplayable lately, my squad and me are all multi season Master players and we have never struggled this much to rank up. Every single game is just people walling and more often than not they don't even bother trying to hide it, just like it was in your Mirage clip in the beginning. It's genuinely so frustrating because this season started off so fun too.

My Apex experience for the past year or so is coming back on after a long month of being tired of the game, booting up Battle Royale after some mixtape as a warm-up/prerequisite to have games that I don't do super terribly in, and then getting shat on for like 10 games in a row while dropping three to no kills.
Then I'm left wondering why I even bothered getting on in the first place.
For a long while I just accepted that I was just completely ass at the game but hearing about all these apparent cheaters on both PC and consoles and how just a year and a half ago I wasn't doing nearly half this bad is slowly changing my mind to that the realization that: yeah this game just sucks.

i enjoyed more this system than last one where you need to hide to rank up and you get fustrated by being in 14th, imho kill to rank up is the way things must work in a BR game, you learn how to kill, you improve and people wont get mad easily for losing points, last season many people yelled at me for hidding and trying to rank to gold

you can be good just have fun, most cheaters have cheats but they dont know how to fight, you can outsmart them with a good aim above average and some tricks like shooting from the right most of the time instead of the left, you get less damage on the right than in the left, being aggressive enough is always good instead of hidding and knowing when to move is also a good idea, a master player i met made ranking easier and funny by just talking, fighting and moving, is funnier that way and you wont notice cheaters
And I got banned for calling a cheater the "R" word.
This is why I'm terrified of IRL robots, aimbot on a real gun....

PS5 defaults to cross platform and if you change the setting to play against only console, you will be waiting in the lobby for a game that will never start. So 100% there are cheaters on console because you are more less forced to play against PC players just to get a game

100% cheat dev's are making more money than EA off Apex.
EA grossed an estimated US$1.3b in '23 off Apex. At $10 a day for a cheat, I recon it's not hard to believe that there's more than 300,000 people walling and aimbotting their way around in a day. 400,000 concurrent players, the actual active players on PC are in the many millions.
Not a developer, or a coder. But there has to be a way of a bit of game logic to say if someone has a accurancy percentage > 90% over the course of an hour, then flag them for review.
Of if their lifetime accuracy is 30% and then suddenly it's tracking at 95% they gotta go.
But then again, EA is probably financing the cheat devs...we all know they love a dollar.

Just casually playing pubs or some ranked and meeting these pred or master badge people or lvl 1 accounts and everyone just doesn't miss a single shot. ive had this problem all the time. since this season started, ive been shot through walls and prefired through walls. ive reported so many people but EA only cares about the money, not the game or the players. like dude, im tryna have fun this season, and the most fun ive had was the April fools event where i could fly around with guns.
