@@Reiskuchen it's a running gag at this point with the last week. Like 40% of videos say 1128 years instead of days. What's even funnier is Necrit quoting it correctly with days, then proceeds to cut a time-line with 1128 years
this. I think its important to understand when exactly Heimerdinger got to AU. Because there are theories that he played the major role into actually fixing the AU, and make this as happy as we see it. So, pretty important and what exact moment or events sequence he arrived to AU.
It's also interesting that in the alternative universe, Jinx's hideout has railings to prevent people from falling. She has more guests, and she actually cares about her + their safety.
No shit, cause Jinx dont exist in this universe, she was never created, she's just Powder. Any normal person would've done the same for general safety lul.
Ambessa tells Cait that sacrifice is the 4th principle to combat that heightens all others during their training together. Cait sacrifices her eye to win.
jinx sacrificing herself, viktor sacrificing glorious evolution, the zaunite girl sacrificing herself to fight, damn this whole series is about sacrifice

I think Maddie was a Noxian spy all along. She was a new recruit when she introduced herself to Vi at the start of season 2, not long after Ambessa arrived in Piltover. She encouraged Caitlyin to accept to be Piltover's commander when Ambessa offered her the post but suspiciously turned against the whole martial law state of things in act two. Not only she helped Ambessa get Cait where she needed her to be, but also distancied herself from any association with Noxus' interest by playing the contrapoint to their ideals. A job well done and a great cover for a spy.
But then why would Ambessa mention that professional entanglement leads to problems ? I feel like this is the moment Ambessa actually thought of using her to manipulate Cait.
@@MRST0R It may be more so Ambessa testing Caitlyn if she suspects anything Ambessa is doing. A major note of Noxus is Guile and you can't be sure your lie is working without knowing how much that person knows the truth. Also it can be a warning to Caitlyn as to say "I am the one in control here be careful what you do next." since Caitlyn was still chasing Jinx down and may try take actions that would go against Ambessa's plans
I mean, if she’s not, then she’s the pettiest person ever. She knows from Jayce that, if Viktor gets what he wants, there’s essentially going to be an apocalypse around the city at minimum. If she’s a spy, it’s still a chance for Noxus to get strength. If there is an apocalypse, Noxus will survive, survival of the fittest, blah blah blah. If she’s not a spy, she’s willing to get everyone fighting Noxus killed and likely cause some catastrophe because Caitlyn spoke to Vi again. Because she has no way to know the two got freaky while Jinx tried to kill herself.
Also Ambessa told Vi back in episode 6 "I owe you thanks. Your absence provided a vacuum I was able to fill.", so she was probably referencing filling it with one of her undercover agent.
I love the monkeys in the Z Drive! It's a Thaumatrope! It's bunch of different images or statues turning in a spesific speed to make animation, it's the perfect practical indicator for "cranking it" at the right speed, even better if you turn it too fast it starts to skip frames so it gives the illusion of the animation going backwards so it's a timetravel indicator without being actually affected! It's also worth mentioning the pendant is also a rudimentray thaumatrope as well, so the visual anomaly (hehe, "anomaly". Like Ekko here.) literally shows Powder if there was a better timing (or rather timeline) these two could be together.
The inventions are quite nice although mostly visually cool, it's still impressive they mechanically work if you suspend some of your enginerring dsibelieves: 31:35 looks like a levitation device using armillories aren't even assembled together (yea this part is fiction) , there seems to be 3 levers on the device; the longer behind one seems to be connected to a liftarm and there're parellel vertical pipes so imma guess they controll the distance between the magnet thingies; And the smaller ones are probably a lever dial to adjust speed or positions of the armillory. 31:40 This one doesn't quite make sense but yeah probably a sesimograh, there's a roll of specialised paper that's hooked to the larger tensioned pulleys. I'm seeing a centrifugal governor to regulate speed. I think there's an gas tank on the roller so it uses gas for something, my guess would be hooking it up to fissures, because there is a suspended flat headed weight directly on top of what it seems to be a liquid outlet so it's probably regulating the ink so i it might be able tell the scale of a fissure shake perhaps even before happeing. One more piping piece to make the smaller end roll turn.

1:14:22 Im not sure this interpretation is correct. If Viktor smiled because he knew Jayce was “supposed” to shoot him, thus triggering the Glorious Evolution, I don’t think Viktor would have immediately switched his expression to one of fear as Jayce powered up his hammer. More likely Viktor was smiling because he was happy Jayce came to see him, something he stated he wanted to happen when channeling through Salo. His being happy to see Jayce only to realize he was here to kill him would also help establish why he would see humanity as the problem.
42:07 I think VI’s drawer is a way for Powder to close important chapters in her life. I see it as her accepting VI’s death, and I can see her keeping Alternate-Ekko’s visit a secret.
something not alot of people seem to catch is the reason or one of the reason zaun looks good in eckos alternate universe is actually heimerdinger as in that universe heimer prime (arcane heimer) has learned his lesson of not ignoring the plights of the undercity and would still be an actual councilor and not be disgraced by Jayce who wouldn't even be in the council or dead and Heimer himself stated that he was there more or less 3 years which i think might be the same amount of time for the time jump from season 1 ep.3 to ep.4, my guess is that heimer with the help of a combined silco and vander brokered peace and eventually gave zaun a chance to join the prosperity of piltover
OOOOH this is very insightful! I think this parallel universe has things just going right (as seen in Marcus reacting in horror for example), but Heimerdinger actually doing something in the council instead of being a passive witness to history makes so much sense! Good catch!
1:18:33 Ambessa told Vi back in episode 6 "I owe you thanks. Your absence provided a vacuum I was able to fill.", so I think it's safe to assume Maddie was always on Noxus' side and was specifically tasked with getting close to Caitlyn. It would be really weird for Maddie to betray her entire country over a simple matter of hearts, even if these kind of things did happen in History.
1:34:55 - a theory I’ve seen around is that when Jinx dodged the connection viktor sent for her, it fizzled out and ekko’s connection was redirected so it can capture her, thus her inadvertently saving him and that’s why he wasn’t “glorified-to-be”
So not only Ekko coming back in the main timeline the solution for beating Viktor, but he would’ve still failed if he didn’t save Jinx because he would’ve been mentally controlled… damn. The boy savior at its finest
Also Ekko could have used the z drive to escape from the victor tether and it just wasn't shown in the show to allow for Ekko to show up as the surprise hero.
The necklace Leblanc gives to Mel is the same necklace the aristocrat girl had in season 1, before Mel wakes up the necklace is on the floor covered in blood after the girl was beheaded
6:30 i think Vander is saying that Powder doesn't live to her potential because she's always helping others instead of making something of herself, this also ties to the conversation she has with Ekko, about her having a greater calling At least that's how I interpreted it :)
I had the same interpretation. Definitely didn’t get the vibe that he’s talking about relationships at all. Especially considering she’s pretty clearly dating or at the very least flirty with Ekko.
Extrapolate that out and think about where the hextech crystals are, and it makes the future of this timeline with regards to hextech seem a lot less speculative.
Yeah, clearly, Powder is smart. She kinda has the same potential as Jayce, but she doesn’t have the same drive. Vander sees it and it upsets him because she is wasting all her potential in his eyes. In S1, Jinx is able to create her own hextech weapon, after Silco asks her to do so (which implies she already did similar stuff in the past)
1:08:18 I took it as he was loosing his humanity. Skye was a representation of his humanity. So when he said he’d miss their talks, she said no he wouldn’t because, without his humanity, he doesn’t have anything to miss. It’s happed when he used the toxin on Warwick that would erase vander out of Warwick, ie his humanity. That’s why there such a parallel they their eyes glowed and has vander disappeared so did skye.
I really believe that it may be Ekko that paints. Maybe (Jaybe) Powder also does that but the fact that the painting of young Powder is identical to the one on the mural at the firelights hideout, to me strongly suggests that it could be Ekko painting them! 11:55
The sun and clouds are more likely drawn by powder and the portraits by ekko, because the art style are very different . I agree with what you are saying, necrit says that the potrait in powders universe of her young look identical with the one that the firelights drew on the tree , so its more likely ekkos work . 57:13 he is looking at the transformed hex crystal in the hammer from the future. It resembles a small anomaly at this point, something that would fascinate him. You can actually see the outline of the hammer very faintly, more like an aura of it.
This actually makes so much sense, When I first saw it I thought it was Ekko going back to this universe or something like that. But still it didn't make sense to why he could see that
Yeah! Not only his transformed hammer has a mind of its own and reacts to Viktor in a lot of scenes, Viktor also recognizes it. After Jayce kills Salo, Viktor says something about hearing a voice with him. I think Viktor is sensing the presence of Future-Viktor in the Hammer. Future-Viktor was probably the one controlling and/or acting through the anomaly all this time, and Jayce's altered Hammer was powered by Hextech from future-Viktor's reality, so it was connected to him.
10:20 It’s more likely the paintings are made by Ekko , especially since we saw one of them in Ekko’s hideout in the main timeline. He wouldn’t have a painting by Jinx.
I think Powder putting the pendant inside the Vi shrine is a way of remembering yet another friend that she lost (our alternative Ekko), but this time is not as sad because he is not dead.

I'm sorry Necrit but at 6:33 Vander is not telling her to date (or at least not as his main point), he's clearly telling Powder that she needs to be a little more self-serving. This is made obvious as their conversation was Vander pointing out "what would they do without you" (They being Claggor, Mylo, etc...) A bartender serves people but needs to also serve themself. That doesn't implicitly imply that she needs to date, but just to pursue a life where she "fills her own cup" i.e. self-fulfillment. It'd be pretty out of character for Vander to teach her that she "just needs to date"
Yeah exactly, im not sure why necrit would interpret it as her needing to "date" , the previous convo hints at the fact that she needs to focus on herself and her own talents first rather than only being a helping and caring hand to others.
Something you missed in act 2 is that the scientist goat dude that died testing hextech for ambessa is the same one who was listening to Caitlyn’s mum talk in Jayces tent in ep 4 season 1
Oh, so he’s supposed to be the best scientist after Jayce yet still falls so short. Makes sense now why Viktor felt like Jayce was the only one that can handle hextech
Pretty sure I spotted him at the memorial as well. Also, the kid that Jayce almost shoots in the face in the commune can be seen watching Heimerdinger’s performance in the happy timeline but he’s in a wheelchair.
1:34:49 actually! the light strand that gets jinx was one meant for ekko probably! when she avoids the first one, it sort of fizzles out, and probably the one meant for ekko dissapears, it doesn't seem like any more strands of light appear since seemingly viktor had a perfect count of everyone involved and didn't make any more appear, but jinx's dodge gave ekko the freedom to save the day- also it might be cause he is touched by the arcane that viktor lacks a grasp on ekko, i mean when ekko started his clutch for vikotr he appeared as nothing but a green comet in his cosmic plane
10:30 Ekko and powder is confirmed by the letter i love you, we know jinx doesnt have much talent to draw. Powder drawings are in ekko book, thats why he smiles when he sees it. Probably ekko gifted to powder those portraits as a relationship aniversary i dont know.
In film we have a funny thing where we just round the framerate to the nearest even number. For example, most film including the majority of arcane is 29.97fps. Not 30fps truly. So the 4.1fps for that scene is because of the scaling down I believe from 29.97 to 4.1fps. Just technical things.

I think the 1128 days Heimerdinger mentions was a reference to the amount of days between Season 1 and Season 2, the Netflix release days were like 1098 days apart but it could be referencing announcement days or something like that.
I'm so confused. If heimer says he's been there for a about 1100 days, that's only about 3.5 years, he's basically been there just a little after vi dies in the alternate universe.
10:27 I think this universes Ekko painted the paintings. In this universe he still has artistic talents, since powder doesn't question how he painted Vi's mural. Plus him painting Powder could be another hint at their relationship
12:58 Pretty sure Jayce was still around since Jayce himself is where Ekko got the tip from in the first place. (Jayce was sourcing some "cheap" materials/tools/parts from Benzo's shop in the undercity. Ekko profiled him as an easy mark and followed him.) Maybe he also got caught and killed in the explosion?
It would be funnier if Jayce took the sandwiches (the ones Powder took a bite out of) with him and had a picnick with Cait, while the heist was going on.
Agreed. The theories I've seen that I most vibe with are either Jayce was caught in the explosion or his sentence for illegal experimentation was much worse due to killing a child, either leaving him banished, imprisoned or he succeeds in killing himself in this universe.
@@SilverKnightXx Wasn't there some kind of statement regarding Vi and Caitlyn being soulmates and confirming that Caitlyn died in that universe along with Vi
@@MechanicCactuss Would certainly explain why Jayce's research was sealed/thrown out if the heiress of an influential family was killed in that research's explosion.
Amanda Overton recently confirmed via Instagram DMs that Maddie is Noxian, meaning that Ambessa hand-selected her to be a spy. Maddie's talents must be ridiculously well. Additionally, seeing as weapons are really tied to one's character (Jayce's being a hammer bc toolsmith but also hextech bc hextech but also can be close or far bc he's calculated, Vi being gloves bc her brutal nature, Caitlyn being a sniper bc her foresight and looking at the big picture, Jinx explosives bc explosive, etc etc) Maddie's weapon was a smoke grenade launcher thingy, referencing how she's hiding in the shadows / hiding in plain sight.
The reason why I thought she is not Noxian (at least not Noxian trained) is because she screams and gets super scared when Jinx drops the plushies of the squad chasing her. If that is on purpose to play her role that is just insane talent. Also, she shoots Cait in the neck for her to suffer, not in the head for instant death
@ yes the neck thing goes crazy!!! that girl is NUTS! i will say while i dont really get noxian spy energy from her (even tho its literally canon), there were some signs, such as ^^^ the ties to her weapon, but also when we first see her, she blocks the sun out like a bad omen
Even Maddie first appearance, before she hooks up with Cait. Maddie is attempting to get Vi to help them take control over the undercity. It's still a little shady.
@@my2randomcents imagining maddie is a great spy, probably just a way to gain trust and ensure the trail is thrown off. could just be inconsistent writing though
10:20 I thought the pictures where drawn by ekko. Hinting at their relationship. As ekko was also the one to draw VI later on. Its weird to draw oneself. And having Power as a portrait would make sense if it was him drawing it.
1:36:54 they're actually linked to Viktor's halo, you can see the lines spreading out from it around the corner of the scene. You can see it clearer at 1:37:06 that the halo behind Viktor is actually the lines connecting people.
12:45 What I understood when I watched the scene is that it happened the same as in season 1 episode 1 but because Vi died in the explosion Jayce actually got exiled because his invention killed someone, thus Hextech not being a thing in that universe.
I thought Jayce may have also died as it was Marcus and the enforcers who discovered the kids, not Jayce even though he (and possibly Caitlyn) were only on the other side of the door
@@bennettblue7809 Yes I also think what happened in that universe that maybe Caitlyn does not drop something at the end of the corridor and they enter faster, together with Jayce, and get blown up with Vi as she stands between the squad and them as she protects them. Would be also romantic as both Vi and Cait die together in the alt universe
After watching season 2 and looking at the Firelight logo, I think I accidentally figured it out. Remember the time travel in Marvel when Tony discovered it? It depicted a Mobius strip! Notice that it also popped when Ekko and the gang were working on the Z drive. It is a clever graphic design coz people familiar with LoL and Ekko’s lore, knows that he can play with time and his gadget is called the Z drive, so one would naturally assume it to be an hour glass. If you look on the logo, the thicker lines depict a Z, which also can stand for Zaun. But if you really look even more closely, it is actually a graphic for the Mobius strip, if you read the icon with depth - one line is thinner than the intersecting counterpart. If you read about the mobius, it’s a weird shape. Cutting it in half on the middle doesn’t break it but extends it. Cutting it again creates a new loop, and so on.. Given the time paradox, Ekko created that symbol in our timeline subconsciously, not being entirely aware about the fact that he is part of discovering the «mobius» - that’s what Ekko is all about. «Tomorrow’s the last of my worries». His identity is all about exploring the «mobius» - that’s how he fixes stuff his way. Saving Zaun was just the beginning.

Um at 7:50 didn't Heimer say days? Which would put him around 3 or 4 years before "present day"? You do mention days but then talk as if he said years. Personally I don't remember exactly which he said.

This is one of the rare times I will like, comment, and subscribe. lol. May these characters live on for many, many years to come in tv show media, and hopefully in movies and single player video games!
1:15:11 The scene of Gert dying with Vi looking on is most likely a mirror to the opening of Act 2 of S1, where Jinx killed the Vi lookalike. The blue hair as a call to jinx strikes Vi the same way.
The thing about Silco's eye is that this universe clearly show that Piltover and Zaun's relation is much improved. They don't need to rely on exporting shimmer and contraband to survive. The 2 parts of the city thrive together.
I think Jayce and Ekko both had complications with the rays at 1:34:48 due to their interaction with the Anomaly prior. No ray went for Jayce either and instead Viktor had to manually convert Jayce.
25:32, the monkeys were relevant as part of how it convinced jinx to delay killing herself, and where she decided to jump off and keep ekko out of the blast because she noticed the monkeys in his z drive making her feel something
57:20 - Judging by the position of Viktor in the scene and fact that he hold a hammer in "puppet's" left hand, I'd say Viktor sees the gemstone/anomaly inside Jayce's hammer. I'm amazed that basically everyone ignores that. 1:40:50 - I don't think that we have tha evidence of greater power controlling Viktor here(strings coming out of broken mask might be the ones connecting to the "followers", otherwise why wouldn't Viktor be also connected by strings all the time? I think if Fortiche wanted to make the point of Viktor being controlled, they would make it without making the scene overtly complicated), we do however have the evidence of Viktor being connected with people connected to Storm, simply by fact that when Viktor is damaged you can see some people being detached from Storm, they change their color and strings holding them are being severed.
i like interpreting the "The End" at the end in Jinx's scratches is jinx telling us to f off and stop watching, like "hello stop treating our lives as a story here i wanna relax go away"
1:51:36 even mentioning this song made me tear up, i dont know why this song makes me feel THAT emotional but both scenes (basically opening and ending of this episode) ripped my heart out, the suicide scene is literally the last thing ive expected from this show and it kinda became my favourite scene and really turned jinx into my favourite character in the whole series (basically whole season she was slowly turning into my fav). Thank you fortishe for this beautiful journey and ruining every single show that im going to watch because to one up arcane is going to be impossible
A lot of people don't understand why Isha moved to kill Vander (Warwick). You have to look at Isha's life and what was happening to Vander at that moment. Those troops weren't trying to kill Vander, they were trying to capture him. Isha fled slavery in Chross's mines and she would rather die than go back. Here is someone she loved, being captured and from her perspective it would end up being a fate that is worse than death. She was saving Vander by killing him. She was saving Jinx as Vander was chemically enraged (if you look closely you can see that Singed HAD injected Vander with his rage juice that Caitlyn had previously stopped him from administering, the scene is during Viktor's monologue) and Vander wasn't in control of himself and clearly couldn't regain control enough to prevent him from hurting those he loved. Death was the best option and the choice Vander would have chosen in that situation if he were capable of making choices. Isha wasn't afraid of dying, she was afraid of living as a slave, thus why she always pushed Jinx to take up the role as revolutionary.
I believe the drawing in Powder hideout are done by Ekko since he is usually the artisitic one (like drawing Vi here or his drawing for all the victim of jinx in S1) and it makes more sense that he gifted her those or he likes drawing in her hideout
I have met people who simply refuse to realize that Old Viktor specifically sent Jayce to the time like he sent him to. they think it's just a thing that happened randomly lol.
The whole "Glorious Evolution"-Stuff got me to run through lore of Champions with similar colors used and so I stumbled on the Lore of Galio: Attacked by raw mystical magic from a noxian elite group of warmages called the "Arcane Fist". It tore through his anti-magic defence and brought him to life for the first time. After which honestly just any magic did the trick, but: Raw mystical powers? Used by a noxian group called arcane fist? Essentially evolving Galio? And his design is white and gold? I´m not nearly as deep into the lore of Runeterra as others, but this seems quite an interesting parallell to me.
@1:34:40 the third strand vanished because Jinx dodged it with her Shimmer powers Once again Singed is behind the winning. Is there anything this man can't do?
12:50 I moreso took this alternate universe as jayce was still the one pursuing hextech, but since his invention resulted in a childs life ending directly, the council was much harsher on him/viktor wasnt willing to stop him from stepping off of the building and thats why hextech was never completed.
@ I don’t know if I’d include Vi, Sevika, or Silco in there, I know Sevika made mods on her arm after her first fight with Vi but I don’t know if she’s at a genius level like Ekko, Jinx/Powder, Viktor, or Singed, but yeah the majority are very smart which is a cool dynamic
at 1:31:10 necrit mentions that ekko helped build the machine gun. but in the league client minigame, "jinx fixes everything", you actually build it from scrap parts as jinx herself. for some reason, jinx is at the firelight tree underground, which i think definitely hints at some sort of relationship with jinx and ekko!
I'm so glad someone mentioned the properties of the rune + anomaly. This is like a recipe for a multidimensional portal. Also, both Viktor and Jayce had arcane fused with their body in one way or another (the hex-core and the rune) and connected to each other so it makes sense they'd be taken into some celestial realm (not to mention the visions of it all).
1:54:24 Idk if people caught on, but Ekko only wrote on one piece of paper, while in reality he lost 2 people, this might be an indication of Heimerdinger being the one he Mourned, also the shimmer light Echoed 4 times, which indicates that it might include something that involves Ekko, potentially he finds Jinx. He would be one of the first ones to look down there after all because of the Hoverboard. Necrit please give your Thoughts on this.
I still have the secret desire he is in the ship with Jinx. He put heimer's name on the paper. And that's why he never took back control of the firelight and Scar (i think that was his name ?) still represents it. But Also, it should be Jinx' name, and maybe Ekko knowing Heimerdinger is already back. After all, if hextech still exists in that universe, you still need someone able to manage it, and we only have a few options : - Ekko - Heimerdinger - Jayce Ekko hasn't, i feel, that will. Jayce is gone (i mean, easier to consider Heimerdinger having found a fast way coming back than Jayce) Heimerdinger then would have understand enough in his travel to safeguard hextech and come back, thus tying stuff to the sight we have of Heimerdinger being also a hextech engineer. I could ofc be wrong, i'm no LOL lore expert.
@lexywackess It doesn't have to be any of the Three, because lore wise, even without the original creators, as long as knowledge of such exists, it will exist again, and even if it's not gonna be one of the original creators or even to the same level of mastery, it will exist again, that's why hextech will exist for Camille and why it will exist for piltover again, but not to the same level as before. It can't be heimerdinger sadly because he'll be in Bandle City, that's pretty much how the loss of a Yordle happens, they respawn in Bandle
@lexywackess also something cool is that Jinx went the opposite direction of the Noxians, if she were on the zeppelin, highly likely she's gonna be in Bilgewater, the place for outlaws. She and Ekko might go back to Zaun at certain times or Ekko might go back to Zaun for extended periods, that's where he'll meet Zeri and Stuff (he doesn't like her back, but they do share the same Ideals) but since Renata Does assume power at some point, I doubt he stayed in Zaun, likely he'll hunt down shimmer supplies that are being exported, or they'll be an anti chemtech team with jinx for the invasion of Ionia.

Also it can be a warning to Caitlyn as to say "I am the one in control here be careful what you do next." since Caitlyn was still chasing Jinx down and may try take actions that would go against Ambessa's plans
you're right! amanda confirmed it on twitter today that maddie was noxian.

The inventions are quite nice although mostly visually cool, it's still impressive they mechanically work if you suspend some of your enginerring dsibelieves:
31:35 looks like a levitation device using armillories aren't even assembled together (yea this part is fiction) , there seems to be 3 levers on the device; the longer behind one seems to be connected to a liftarm and there're parellel vertical pipes so imma guess they controll the distance between the magnet thingies; And the smaller ones are probably a lever dial to adjust speed or positions of the armillory.

The Z Drive is a zoetrope. The pendant Ekko gives Powder is a thaumatrope. 🤓
Totally agree. Also, if Viktor had expected Jayce to kill him, it would become unclear why he reconsidered his approach as a result of it.
That's a way better interpretation
42:07 I think VI’s drawer is a way for Powder to close important chapters in her life. I see it as her accepting VI’s death, and I can see her keeping Alternate-Ekko’s visit a secret.

something not alot of people seem to catch is the reason or one of the reason zaun looks good in eckos alternate universe is actually heimerdinger as in that universe heimer prime (arcane heimer) has learned his lesson of not ignoring the plights of the undercity and would still be an actual councilor and not be disgraced by Jayce who wouldn't even be in the council or dead and Heimer himself stated that he was there more or less 3 years which i think might be the same amount of time for the time jump from season 1 ep.3 to ep.4, my guess is that heimer with the help of a combined silco and vander brokered peace and eventually gave zaun a chance to join the prosperity of piltover
the time skip is about 7 or 8 years, thats how long vi was in prison for
OOOOH this is very insightful! I think this parallel universe has things just going right (as seen in Marcus reacting in horror for example), but Heimerdinger actually doing something in the council instead of being a passive witness to history makes so much sense! Good catch!
1:18:33
Ambessa told Vi back in episode 6 "I owe you thanks.
1:34:55 - a theory I’ve seen around is that when Jinx dodged the connection viktor sent for her, it fizzled out and ekko’s connection was redirected so it can capture her, thus her inadvertently saving him and that’s why he wasn’t “glorified-to-be”
makes sense
So not only Ekko coming back in the main timeline the solution for beating Viktor, but he would’ve still failed if he didn’t save Jinx because he would’ve been mentally controlled… damn. The boy savior at its finest
@@MRST0R Where would he be without her, right?
Sounds very fortiche. Ekko saved jinx and then jinx saved ekko (indirectly)

The necklace Leblanc gives to Mel is the same necklace the aristocrat girl had in season 1, before Mel wakes up the necklace is on the floor covered in blood after the girl was beheaded
6:30 i think Vander is saying that Powder doesn't live to her potential because she's always helping others instead of making something of herself, this also ties to the conversation she has with Ekko, about her having a greater calling
At least that's how I interpreted it :)
Doesn't Vander actually say she's too smart to just stay there? I don't understand how Necrit missed that, it was literally spelled out
I had the same interpretation. Definitely didn’t get the vibe that he’s talking about relationships at all. Especially considering she’s pretty clearly dating or at the very least flirty with Ekko.
Fully agreed. It's why she pushed back on Ekko saying she was wasting her talent: she already gets that talk from her father (probably a lot).
But still it didn't make sense to why he could see that
What I thought too
this
same this is what i was thinking too

Thankyou @Necrit for glossing over the prison scene. Didnt need a deep dive after your interview
Necrit Himer said days not years
1:58:49 "The end" is written in Jinx`s style. Possibly she wrote it by herself...
7:57 bruh isnt 1000 days only 3 years or smth
yea what? @Necrit
Necrit years
I think he has confused days for years
The infinity loop in the Z-Drive schematics is called a Mobius strip. The same visuals Endgame used for timetravel
So Heimerdinger was morbing for 3 years?
@@Burbund Unfortunately he didn't get to say "It's morbing time" due to the fact he vanished
@@Lesdrasill "I must say that since I've met you, lad, I've truly morbed"
morbius?
1:34:26 as jinx dodges the strand, you can see it phase out of existence, so jinx takes ekko’s strand and leaves ekko untouched
14:18 Faker is now cannon as the Unkillable Demon King of runeterra. This can not be undone. You can not change this. It is set in stone. Faker the Goat... is cannon
2:36 one miss: The reflection is Jinx and not powder
Secret, powder is jinx
@@kevinok8021 Secret, looks like you also missed it
The amount of small details really shows how much planning and effort the creators put into this masterpiece of a show.
Um at 7:50 didn't Heimer say days? Which would put him around 3 or 4 years before "present day"? You do mention days but then talk as if he said years. Personally I don't remember exactly which he said.
Yes, he said days i was also so confused when he said all the ruination and rune wars stuff lol
Fun fact it is the exact number of days between the release of arcane season 1 episode 1 and s2 episode 7.
Fantastic video. I've seen the 1st season multiple times, and the 2nd one twice and on to my third, and I would never have guessed a lot of what you revealed here. This is one of the rare times I will like, comment, and subscribe. lol.
May these characters live on for many, many years to come in tv show media, and hopefully in movies and single player video games!
Longer than all of act 3. Noice.
It’s a cool analysis but I doubt it was intentional
@@idontthinkso6172 it is literally extremely clear
@ it’s obvious that the relationship is much improved but silcos eye is different cuz he didn’t take shimmer I’m pretty sure.
The pattern Viktor lasered into the door is the same pattern as his face.
jinx reflection at 2:29 which is what ekko sees, but here in this universe it's powder
imagine being heimer from the alt universe waking up someday and not remembering 1128 years from his life
You also have a bunch of easter eggs on the mini game "Jinx fixes everything" (also one of them is where she make her new gun)
1:31:04 The new weapon was actually named Rhino, as mentioned in act 3 of the jinx fixes everything minigame.
We got our 4th act of Arcane 😭😭
57:20 - Judging by the position of Viktor in the scene and fact that he hold a hammer in "puppet's" left hand, I'd say Viktor sees the gemstone/anomaly inside Jayce's hammer. I'm amazed that basically everyone ignores that.
1:40:50 - I don't think that we have tha evidence of greater power controlling Viktor here(strings coming out of broken mask might be the ones connecting to the "followers", otherwise why wouldn't Viktor be also connected by strings all the time? I think if Fortiche wanted to make the point of Viktor being controlled, they would make it without making the scene overtly complicated), we do however have the evidence of Viktor being connected with people connected to Storm, simply by fact that when Viktor is damaged you can see some people being detached from Storm, they change their color and strings holding them are being severed.
i like interpreting the "The End" at the end in Jinx's scratches is jinx telling us to f off and stop watching, like "hello stop treating our lives as a story here i wanna relax go away"
when vander says she should fill her own cup it means she should care about herself too
21:18 tf the details? Ekko's covering Powder's eyes like how in his orig universe they have to cover the eyes of those who go to their hideout.
Thank you fortishe for this beautiful journey and ruining every single show that im going to watch because to one up arcane is going to be impossible
when Viktor laserd through the door of the hexgate, that shape I think represents how his head is shaped now
Ekko crashed the airship into the giant clock tower to buy time. Amazing.
I love that necrit got days mixed up with years
He even says days then goes into an explanation about how he’s been there for so many years 😂
A lot of people don't understand why Isha moved to kill Vander (Warwick).
2:26 you can see the reflection is Jinx, not Powder
The whole "Glorious Evolution"-Stuff got me to run through lore of Champions with similar colors used and so I stumbled on the Lore of Galio: Attacked by raw mystical magic from a noxian elite group of warmages called the "Arcane Fist". It tore through his anti-magic defence and brought him to life for the first time. After which honestly just any magic did the trick, but:
Raw mystical powers? Used by a noxian group called arcane fist? Essentially evolving Galio? And his design is white and gold?
I´m not nearly as deep into the lore of Runeterra as others, but this seems quite an interesting parallell to me.
i wish that they publish deleted scenes and a spinoff to ekko and jinx
The one cut scene I'd like, would be a final teaser scene, where Victor and Jayce appear in the ruined universe together, and try to fix it together.
10:00 Can we point out that Powder installed barriers in the hideout?
She isn't as chaotic as Jinx. It's no longer an OSHA nightmare.
@1:34:40 the third strand vanished because Jinx dodged it with her Shimmer powers
Once again Singed is behind the winning. Is there anything this man can't do?
In episode 7 intro we can see an X mark on vi foreshadowing her death in the alternate universe
Nice detail to keep in intro
Amanda has confirmed that Maddie was always Noxian
12:50 I moreso took this alternate universe as jayce was still the one pursuing hextech, but since his invention resulted in a childs life ending directly, the council was much harsher on him/viktor wasnt willing to stop him from stepping off of the building and thats why hextech was never completed.
12:01 pretty sure it confirms that the drawings we see were made by this univers's ekko and that it wasn't a self portrait but a gift from her lover
I love that Jinx, Powder and Ekko are both artists and engineers
practically all of the Zaun main cast are genius physicists, chemists, and engineers 😂
1:31:18 Ekko didn't help Jinx make the Gun. We made the gun, in the Client Game (Jinx fixes everything)
at 1:31:10 necrit mentions that ekko helped build the machine gun. but in the league client minigame, "jinx fixes everything", you actually build it from scrap parts as jinx herself. for some reason, jinx is at the firelight tree underground, which i think definitely hints at some sort of relationship with jinx and ekko!
BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE
After all, if hextech still exists in that universe, you still need someone able to manage it, and we only have a few options :
- Ekko
- Heimerdinger
- Jayce
Ekko hasn't, i feel, that will.
Jayce is gone (i mean, easier to consider Heimerdinger having found a fast way coming back than Jayce)
Heimerdinger then would have understand enough in his travel to safeguard hextech and come back, thus tying stuff to the sight we have of Heimerdinger being also a hextech engineer.
It’s already been confirmed by zooming in that the name he wrote on the paper was “powder” therefore he is mourning his time with the powder from the other universe but not necessarily thinking about our universe jinx
Ty both for the explanations :D
one more thing is the bomb that jinx used to try to kill herself with has no fuse, so it blows up immediately unlike the other bombs
