"Oooooh-Hoooo! This is fun!" You know, it's a tough job... you know the rest! I am already drooling. Not much to say about this video, but it was great to be able to ride along on this preview. As usual, Ryan does seem to make it fun, no matter the vehicle! Keep 'em coming!
I enjoyed the off-road review. Some say it is silent but it is quiet but not silent. I am 70 years old 5’5” 160 lb and have ridden dirt bikes forever but am looking for a lighter bike with great suspension. I have a Yamaha xt225 (240 lb) and an Ariel Ryder e-bike with F&R suspension. The Yamaha is far superior to a factor of 10 as far as suspension. All my riding is off road with steep hills and sand dunes . Have you ridden dual purpose motorcycles? How would you compare the ride? One other thing that bothers me about “E” motorcycles is the battery replacement cost being at least 1/2 the cost of a new bike and 1 or 2 years of warranty.
This really doesn’t blur the lines when there are no pedals. That you mention you would get pulled over right away means you agree. What they should do about the front wheel spin is to match up the front to rear power distribution with the front to rear wheel tire weight distribution based on the geometry. Currently all two wheel e-bikes have this problem because no one does it. As an example: a 1000W motor in the rear with a 750 up front will take care of this problem.
That's a great point about checking local regulations. Here in Michigan anything over class 2 or goes over 22 MPH has to be licensed. Mackinac Island also doesn't allow any E-Bikes unless you have special mobility requirements.
I agree that it is insane not to have a battery indicator light. Do we use our main expensive phone on the handlebars to get damaged by the first wreck or low hanging branch - think not. So must carry somewhat disposable phone and a protected main phone???
What do you have against fun lol these are already tuned for incredibly weak acceleration so Jerrys don't get hurt on them. Salesman said there's no way to unlock more power :(
75 miles on one battery charge or 2 ??? I hate using Apps in order to just have fun on this bike ! Too many apps on my phone already and I don't want another one just to go riding !
Neat 4K expensive toy. Has some good specs. Rugged. Pointing out the need for padding was excellent. As you say where we live, it could not be treated as a Bike, so it would be problematic for road use. (cops around our state like to peg small crimes more than big ones) So you would have to confine your rides to motorbike legal riding areas. Not going to get away with a Seattle street run about with it. lol
They do have a street legal version, but you would need to license it. So in that case it might work as a city runabout. But I think the best use is for vacation areas and mountain cabin local transportation. (And it’s also pretty fun.)
Cool bike. I like it. There’s no such thing as green power. It takes oil and gas to create it and maintain it. It took children in the Congo to mine the kobalt. So please just talk about the bike and not fake green energy.
Every video I see of this makes me think it's not worth the $5000 it costs, UNLESS you are using it as a "farm bike" like they do in NZ where they made this and even then - it should have 50% more power at least. A mid-drive bike with 750 watts will have close to this total power, plus they have pedals so you aren't 100% illegal on a trail like this vehicle is.
If this was 3K or 3.5K max and had a top speed of 40mph turn signals and mirrors similar to a Honda Ruckus It would sell a lot better but 5K is a really tough sell for this. I could see this platform being used by hunters hauling back small game from a kill maybe as a mall all terrain vehicle but that's such a specific use case. In reality though this is a cool idea but too expensive and lacking too many common features like usable top speed turn signals mirrors battery indicator and gauge cluster for the overall price.
I think it’s made to replace the mopeds that Uber and other delivery riders use. If one wants to go fast, may as well by a proper motorbike/moped. Also I think this has been limited in speed to open it up to more countries where regulations may vary on rider licensing requirements based on speed/power of vehicle. If this is limited to 30mph, I can’t believe no one will mod this to unlock more top speed.
Hunting bike!!! Camo and bow mount attachments and its golden

Great review. The Ubco has been high on my list for my cabin in Quilcene.
Don't do it before you look at yolin 2x2 it's amazing for the money!👍

It looks and goes no better than my yolin 2x2 but mine cost £1500 ? Could you look at them and do a comparison please,?🤞
Upgrades needed: traction control sensors to regulate power to wheel with best traction.
For 4 grand I'd expect it already? 🤔

If it was programmed. It can be hacked.
Great review, even if it's meant as a serious tool/vehicle, this is a case of big kids with their big toys
Man I really want to try one where I live just don't have the money but sure looks like fun 👍👍
one of the first things I did was adding foam pipe insulation wrapped with duct tape on frame by knees
Just destroyed my knee yesterday on that bar (not the first time) pool noodles going on asap. 😂
So, is it possible to move the bike with the pedals?
Nope. They’re just riding pegs.
It is an ebike, but the term bike should not be confused with bicycles. Many of us who ride motorcycles, also call them "Bikes".
I liked the chickens 🐓
WHY did the chcken cross the road ?
75 miles on one battery charge or 2 ??? I hate using Apps in order to just have fun on this bike ! Too many apps on my phone already and I don't want another one just to go riding !
One battery. It's huge.
Looking good

Hilario Coves
Davis Ronald Jones Richard Taylor John
Dirt riders never take their feet off the pegs
no pedals it is a motorcycle not a bicycle.
Too powerful to legally be an E-bike.
5k, only goes 30mph and can't select 2wd or rear wd. Nope. At least go 65mph and add a selector.

Tops out at 30mph. Nope. I’m out.
