Have you tried to replace your blankets to pure cotton? I can hear static electricity crisping on my legs and has caused my legs to itch! What an experience. I changed my sheets to all cotton no polyester or anything synthetic and the problem was gone
I have so much static in my body that it makes everyday an annoying struggle. I can only wear polyester shirts cause cotton irritates my skin. So all day long I have to feel my body hairs stand up against my shirt. And then when I take my shirt off the sparks fly.
@@sayonara0922same with me. But i thought i just heard like buzzz is normally i heard until just now when i turn off the light to sleep, and touching my blanket i saw blue sparks n buzz few time. Then i rub2 few times n later got some more
"Static electricity is not usually dangerous and doesn't kill people, but it can cause accidental injuries. For example, someone might suddenly pull their arm away and hit something. Static electricity can also cause discomfort, such as tingling, pain, and irritation to the skin. In some cases, it can even cause dizziness, chest tightness, and breathing problems."
I am that person. When I remove my socks sometimes, it produces lightning between my foot and sock. At work, I‘m the only one who gets that. It‘s bothering to have this. I read just now, drinking lots of water and taking vitamin b12 would help.
Yes absolutely if you have dry skin. Those who drink less water , if you don't sweat, have dandruff all those factors increase static. And I am telling you from my personal experience. Earlier I have never faced static, bcz I used to have oily skin , now it's completely opposite.
@@alphacentauri1757 All humans are flesh and bone but not everyone has the same skin moisture or thickness. I know a couple, the husband experiences shocks up to 20 times a day, the wife none since she was 12, she sometimes gets worried why she isn't experiencing any, thinking her body is strange. Static charges buildup can affect you, and large buildups can even kill.
I've never heard of a single person dying from static electricity...

Walk bare foot on land or grass avoid footpaths or roads ,dont walk bare foot on carpets or marbles
I read a comment saying that some people are more prone to static electrical charges than others. Do you believe that? Is there any explanation?
