The variant of the FW -190 - D12 right before you unlock the BF -109 K-4 has a top speed of 763 which makes the FW the fastest plane of all planes in the game as far as I can tell.
La-7 can do 780+ kp/h in dive, it shows warning about speed, if you pull too fast then, your controls are gone. So if you want to try it, you have to start at 2000+m to be able to recover the dive. And the best part is, that it outturns most of those hi-tier fighters in game. Barely any Me-109 has chance unles he surprises you. Only some japanese planes and I-153 are dogfight trouble with good pilots :D
FW-120 D12 is quite interesting plane but in level flight it does not accelerate very fast. Most fighter jets will catch you. And chances in turnfight are very limited unless enemy is twin engine plane. So the best chance usually is to just use massive firepower and try to do some critical damage while enemy is still in some distance. Thre is very high chance, that even couple hits will blast him or damage enough to remove turning capability. While FW190 usually can withstand few hits by smaller calibers like 7.62 or even 12.7mm MGs.
interesting info I read that the speed of the La-7 has a max speed of 696 and the FW 190 D-12 has a max speed of 763.91 I was just making the statement of what in read in the details about the plane to Amiral Starks,thanks for the info I go fly the La 7 and compare the two planes if I ever get them unlocked something to look forward to got me interested in the difference now thanks @@xmeda

Brandenburg gate is in the playzone in some Berlin maps/modes, I specifically remember driving a tank through it

I personally don’t like K4, it has kinda small but noticeable slower turn time than G10, the 30mm on K4 is mainly for infantries, tanks are rarely unless like topless tank and very thin top armor you can have chances to kill the tank, planes can one hit but it’s a miss or hit.
It’s has smaller ammo capacity than 20mm planes (which is suck when you only have 13mm and can’t really have a fast kill with enemy), basically good climb and speed but noticeable slow turn time than G10.
I prefer G10 most with 712 km/h max with good turn time 16.17 and basic 20mm with large capacity ammo, it can quickly take down many planes in one reload, it can destroy most tanks with 20mm from 90 degree air drop shots (Kill many toughest tanks like IS2 1944 and King Tiger in Lone Fighters) compare to 30mm which only has explosive filler and I’ve test the destruction power between 20mm and 30mm, the 30mm is worse at destroying the biggest tank than typical 20mm (you can test this in practice map where the tanks in there are tougher than the one on the battlefield). Basically slower projectiles speed and heavier than 20mm you have to have a bigger aim gap for the lead than 20mm and again low ammo and it’s a miss or hits for planes.
But in Sum, K4 is actually fun if you want to become A10 warthog.
Can you tell me what controls to use for planes? I always have a hard time looking around and controlling the plane at the same time with the mouse and keyboard.
Hold the c key down when looking, you might need to bind it to a mouse button to make it easier. I’ll check what setting I have it on and update.
It’s in mouse pointer aim which I believe is default. Just keep flying and practice doing turns and maneuvers, if you want to live longer get up to 1200 meters and watch for lower flying planes, figure out where they spawn from and where they get restocked, Sally spawn camping is very effective. Drive down make a pass with the extra speed you will have faster turns for follow up passes.
The stat cards in this game are wrong like War Thunder. Sometimes it is correct but only at certain altitdues, 720kph SPD is only possible at like 7000meters.
The k-4 is worse than the G-10/G-14. Single 30MM isn't good enough by itself. I don't even get why the game has separate planes and squads for the G-10 and G-14 since they are nearly identical.

It did for me, 740 km/p to 726km/p. The same thing happened for the Fw190 D-12 763 km/p to 740km/p. I think it's the weight or armor that's planted on the plane that makes it slower.
K4, G10 or G14?? What’s your choice?
Honestly, they are so similar that I'd take any. They are literally the same plane with minor differences. I can't pick one. 🤷🫣
