Wild hen turkey at 4 yards! Waiting on the fog (late season turkey hunting)

- Hunting public land late season turkeys can really test your patience. In general, they are less vocal & after an entire hunting season, birds are generally more wary. So, finding them can be a challenge.
Come along with me on a beautiful foggy morning in the Appalachian mountains of West Virginia. You might be surprised how this morning unfolds!

Nice video, liked listening to the hen.
Thanks Thomas! Appreciate ya watching
I been rewatching some of the previous seasons. Glad to see some new episodes. Some of us never really get out of Turkey hunting mode.
Chad you ever tally up the miles you walk in a season? I do every year and 100 plus miles of walking is common. Watching your videos you got to be putting in some triple digits…not to the mention up and down terrain. A hundred miles in Louisiana would seem like cake lol.
Well, I really appreciate ya watching!
I'm not sure how accurate it is, but according to my phone, I walked 176 miles during the 2023 spring turkey season.
