FINALLY caught him on the right day! Calling a MOUNTAIN GOBBLER downhill

- Twice, I've messed with this mountain gobbler & twice he's been on the far side of a drainage from me. He never gobbles more than a few times, he doesn't sound too interested in what I have to say & I just can't seem to connect. But this morning, I finally catch him in the right mood! BUT I'm going to have to call him off some private ground AND downhill...

Excellent video I enjoy emanstly
Great hunt Chad. Nice videography of the gobbler. Some days, just getting a gobbler to respond to my calls and being able to get a good look at him, is a success in my book, even if I don’t get to make a kill. Keep the good videos coming and thanks for sharing.
I appreciate ya Matt!
Yea, I hear that! Here in NY just HEARING a turkey is a good hunt!
Chad, your content is still some of my favorite! Keep up the good work!
Thanks! Glad to hear
Another great day in the woods, another great video 👍🏻🇺🇸
Appreciate ya watching!
If you’re just hunting and not trying to film that’s a dead gobbler all day. I really enjoy your videos. Pure wholesome turkey hunting
I'm glad you enjoyed them. Thanks for following along!
Saw the nervous wing twitch n knew it wasn’t gonna end well. Most guys woulda poured it on as he was walkin away. Live to fight another day. Good mornin though!
This is getting interesting now Chad! Is this going to be the bird that a season revolves around? The one that gets in your head, that you have to hunt??!!
Enjoy all your videos Chad !
When im hunting im thinking about how difficult it must be to try and film these hunts.Thanx for doing the heavy lifting so i dont have to.
Well I appreciate ya watching!
WOOOO.... Rick Flair style
True sportsman! Good luck this year Chad
Thanks & good luck to you as well. I appreciate you watching!
I think that Tom didn't bugger up. I think he was just able to see into the clearing and didn't see a hen.
Just wish that thunderstorm didn't cut the morning short. I appreciate ya watching Robert!
Awesome video, hey where did you get the turkey hanging from the mirror?
Dave Constantine. He's an amazing artist/wood carver. His order info for those is on his Constantine Productions fb page. Thanks for watching Shawn!
Good hunt
Thanks! Appreciate ya watching
Agree with ya Chad that if not for draggin us with ya, you'd of probably carried a Beautiful bird off the mountain. Sucks when they silhouette ya like that! Great footage to watch, Thanks!!
btw What brand of 20 gauge are ya toting ?
Thanks Porky! It's a Winchester SXP topped with a vortex venom
You seem to stick with the same call all day. Would it have made a difference if you switched between 2 different calls?
Are you saying to try & get him closer or...?
Besides the hunt , where did you get your seat covers
Sportsman camo covers. Pretty nice!
@@claycomboutdooors how’s the durability
Can't complain. I've had them for 4 years now. No issues. They're Cordura so...
Hey Chad where did you get that turkey hanging off your rear view mirror?
Dave Constantine. He's an amazing artist/wood carver. His order info for those is on his Constantine Productions fb page. Thanks for watching Ralph!
Do you hunt national forest in wv
Chad can you not turn on CC ? Thanks love your videos.
From what I understand, I have to type out every word spoken in order to do that. I'll look into it more. Thanks for watching!
@@claycomboutdooors TH-cam will actually auto generate what it hears if you select that option!

Forget about your gun? 😂 that was a dead bird allllll day
You're probably right, John. That dang camera has saved more turkeys than I care to admit. Thanks for watching!
