I started playing POE and saw a video of yours. I started watching the lives and then decided to play. I did my first RF Build. I'm having a lot of fun. Thank you for your time and your videos.
I'm hoping for a "followup" that addresses: Ok, Atlas complete, able to to T16 ... now what? ... What are they upgrades that provide the best "cost" to "scaling" ratio ... a.k.a what should you first invest into ... but in a little detail .... so first question: gear (and if gear, which piece), jewels for the tree, cluster jewels, weapon, shield, flask automation, scarabs/juicing, other ... there are some many options it seems overwhelming and you want to be as efficient as possible. I usually struggle a LOT once I reach T16 ... I'm T16 after after a 3 or 4 days but than takes another 3 or 4 days to get to my first 10 Divines because I'm still quite weak and I invest every money I get into my char only to see little to no improvement ...
This league is the furthest I've ever got in poe thanks to your guides. Currently level 93 and doing ok in Tier 16 maps just got my first voidstone and having a blast the explosion mechanic for chieftan is so much fun and prob why I have pushed farther than my last Rf build which was Inquisitor. Thanks again boss
I've never league started with RF before and it all felt so freaking smooth with your guides that I didn't even notice I was still using a 3-link Fire Trap (no extra links from gear either) until Tier 16s lol. You spoiled me, Pohx, now I might end up league starting RF every league!
Just wanted to thank you for the RF build. I beat campaign for the first time after never getting past Act 6 in the past as I tried to handle the POE learning curve. Your build, the guides, and these vids have helped a lot. So thank you again for all the hard work and sharing of knowledge.
Pohx i love this build this was my first serious league i just switched to blocked based and man i clear maps at the speed of light and don’t really have to worry about anything lol

i tried ur build the first time this leage after like 3 years of poe. i have fallen in love with this. The tankiness together with the chieftain explode which will happen eventually is so nice. I always thought the single target would bother me but 1. the traps even on a 4 link do a lot of dmg and 2. in my favorite map jungle valley i just gather some spiders and explode them beside the boss so the ignite takes care of him thanks and keep up the good work!

Been running this as my league starter, thanks so much for all the resources you put out, especially the website. Cruised my way up to T16s no problem, got my first two voidstones. Only things that are killing me are being too greedy rolling maven invitations. Would love to see some advice for working up to last two voidstones. Just want to be able to drop more T17s to sell. Thanks again for making such a comprehensive guide.

Thats a great little info vid, started RFing after your initial build a few leagues ago and just absolutely love it. Have been working on incorporating it into other builds as well, good info, looking forward to mapping with a slam rf chieftan of some sort 👍
Very good video. Thanks for explaining how to get atlas started. I remember way back in the day when I started POE and that was confusing. And that each map has a unique ID so you can do the trade/swap vendor recipe.
i think a problem a lot of new players have is that "league start" makes them think it takes you through the campaign. they don't realize you're supposed to just grind maps till you're at reds.
For new player guides like this, I think it would be good to call out the hot keys to get to specific screens. G for atlas, ctrl + G for atlas skill tree, etc. It’s a large game and navigating all of the UI’s can be confusing for a lot of players that are going to benefit from this type of video
Can I ask a question please. In the POB it says to take the small pantheon Ralekesh, doesn’t that help stop corrupted blood? But we already take a mystery to stop corrupted blood on us? Thanks
budget for this build rapidly went from zero to HERO... now +2 amu and weapon is needed and super specific shiel, different armour and different helm and its great if you have bought awekened gems
I have flammability and Punishment together with that gem which will make them auras plus give them more aoe... It is pretty good to be honest, don't need to press it all time. But it is also true that i am just in mapping phase rn, so maybe later i will figure out it has some minus.
I just finished the campaign and was lucky enough to get the rare lock item .... idk what it was my friend helped me and i got the end game gear from the POB and now idk what to do
Does anyone know what is happening with markets at least on console? Cloak of Flame went from 2 divines to 15. And even grey items sakes are being rejected unless you go into divine territory. Did the economy shatter again or something because it seems way worse then Necropolis
as a new player, it's so confusing seeing unveiling and the card screen and all the convoluted mini systems within the systems people are explaining. i wish it was explained what is important and what isnt. Like if something has a hard effect on the outcome of my character, then it should be explained thoroughly, but if it's something i can fix later without much problem and doesnt produce much advantage, then mentioning that as you gloss over it is best. For example, Ascending and picking the wrong class is severe so Ascending should be talked about thoroughly in every beginner guide. Every aspect of it. On the flip side, the playing card drops and menagerie as far as i know are end game things and as a new player guides should tell you just to hold on to them and not to bother with the menagerie until late game. And the cards, im like, im just trying to level up i cant even know what these things do and should a spend a couple hours learning their purpose or would that time be better spent just completing the campaign.

Personally I beat the campaign a long time ago and have almost finished atlas but I am TERRIFIED of Maven and Sirus. I have no idea what I'm doing lmao.

@benriker2732 you can definitely do all that, I did everything the last few seasons with rf, but the investment to go from t16s to ubers with rf is pretty insane. This league I'm gonna run rf as my mapper and I'm making a melee bosser as a second character
There is a second bar of keybinds you can access by pressing ctrl and q-t, but you can also rebind them to other keys without needing to press ctrl. I have mine bound to a-g, and it's where i keep my auras.
Thank you both! I totally use control, but I didn't know you could bind them, so that's helpful. I just notice sometimes Pohx opens up the skill menu as if he is going to put something on the bar and seems to be able to use it from there, and I'm not sure if that's just because it's bound somewhere else, or if there is a way to just activate it from that list.
@@tak52 probably just bringing up the full list of skills so you can see as he uses the keys he's set to activate them, instead of just turning them on without the viewer being able to see what he's turning on.
So actually when you have the little skill select window up I don't know if it's just right click or like ctrl+right click or something but you can toggle auras on from that selection window without having them on a hotkey
as alway im happy that i league start RF. again. im very happy about this RF build and want to try something els and go for dex stacking balista. and spend like 2-3 time i spend on rf build but my RF clear map better and faster maybe it killing boss faster but i don't like boss farming. also it seem like i need to spend at least 50d more for it to become op like youtube video show...:(
Can someone help me out, how do you guys make your six links faster? This always takes me the longest to get. Besides buying one which a lot are corrupted so you cant change them.
You can farm the specific divination card that gives you a 6link body armor. You can buy a 6link for cheap on trade board. You can farm beasts until you get the beast that allows you to 6link your armor or weapon. You can farm Altars until you get the omen that allows you to 6link your armor or weapon
Do you have around 4 or 5 endurance charges and good flasks? And block capped with the % life recover on block? You should feel nearly immortal with those things.
I beat the campaign 5 days ago and have been sitting in my hideout waiting for this video

Play a lot of HCSSF and this was helpful even after a lot of hours on how to transition from campaign to better gear. Always love your videos

Also if you have uniques, check the price. If its worth nothing you can sell it, that gives alchy shards
If you don't have the map tab you can hold alt over the map and see if you've completed it and its bonis objective

Thanks for the video!! How are you activating your auras directly from the skill selector without putting them on your bar?

You can assign them to the secondary bar when holding Ctrl, and activate them from there

The beast youre looking for is called the Black Morrigan. Or spend 1500 fusings at the crafting bench
i bought the annihilation boots but the active skill of it for adrenaline cant be used, and i never see it in buffs at the top also, anyone knows why?
You activated it like you do an aura right?
Man I’m 89 have the cloak of flame 90 max res capped on chaos like 5200 hp but I feel so squishy in just like t16 with red altars no clue why.
there are certain modifiers in maps/altars that brick your build meaning it wont work, he goes over them on his website
