virtuoso aside. the idea of a keyboard that comes apart in sections blows my mind just as much! how did they not think of this sooner. imagine being able to carry all 88 keys in a freaking backpack!!!!!
I may get some dislikes for my comment but here goes. In my opinion Jesus Molina has far surpassed Chic Corea... Lyle Mays... Brad Mehidau and others. Molina's keyboard skills are astonishing. His saxophone skills are incredible. His vocal skills are amazing...and all the time wearing the warmest genuine SMILE! He makes it look effortless! Of course the other players here are extraordinary as well! BRAVO!
Wow someone who agrees with my assessment of his talent. Chick Corea was one of a kind writing ✍️ phenomenal songs and style and technique. My point was not about songwriting phrase writing , but on t unique skills smile, engagement with people effortless which is astonishing. I ran into an issue with the product as blue tooth connection and keys intermittent. If it wasn’t so pricey I’d consider buying one. Thanks all for so many comments , had no idea of people’s interest. Namm was excellent time.
If the pocket piano has not dynamics and thin sound, all Chick Corea's work is missed. Chick wasn't only a technical virtuoso but a very emotive player. His phrasing was very far away from this guy, sorry.
Chick corea potential? Chick was a phenomenal composer. Jesus may develop his technical ability, but the story telling behind Chicks compositions are a very different skill.
Dont get me wrong, he is gifted however chick was a great composer an absolute jazz legend. There a many great players but great composers are very rare. Hopefully Jesus continues forward in that regard. I wish him all the best.😊
Seems like everybody is now playing Giant Steps like it's a rite of passage. Good tune but I'm tired of hearing it played like it's part of a sporting event. New Chick Corea ? I don't think so, Joey Alexander at 12 years old could wear this guy's ass out.
That drummer! What??!!! Everybody in the band crazy good, of course, but that drum solo was incredible.
Roni is amazing, saw her live in Avishai Cohen's trio, absolutely mind-blowing stuff
💤😴
Always so in the pocket, even across the bar lines
@poi
🤣
Ya right
he she no bueno, can't fool everyone
The Beck phenomenon?
clicked for Jesus, stayed for the drummer
That is one INCREDIBLE drummer. Speechless.
1:16 did he just start playing donna lee over giant steps?? haha, that is insane
Oh yes he did!
they play donna lee once at 0:40 itself
2:19 that women had flowwwwwww boyyyyyyyy u dont see that every day!!!!!!!!
Jim Carrey absolutely killed it on the bass good job man
Bass and Basser
Loyd Christmas has chops af 😂😂😂
Accordion player plays Donna Lee over Giant Steps… 😮
Then Jesus does it. 😮😮
Matteo Mancuso is at the same show. I'd LOVE to see him sit in with this combo!
I am always touched by Jesus.
Roni Kaspi's drumming just hits so hard and the fluidity of it is always so cool to see. That solo just so crisp
virtuoso aside. the idea of a keyboard that comes apart in sections blows my mind just as much! how did they not think of this sooner. imagine being able to carry all 88 keys in a freaking backpack!!!!!
Great performance, Jesus always surrounds himself with top musicians

Roni Kaspi Drummer 👏👏🌹🌹❤️🔥❤️🔥..Wuaoo
Top tier musicians!!
Cory Pesaturo is godmode on the accordion. If only Matteo came over and played with you guys,,it would be one hell of an all-star band.
Nice to see Tranes music being given proper treatment by young players
WHO IS THE GUY ON THE ACCORDION??? He totally shredded
how did they get donna lee in there wow hahaha very exciting stuff
2:42 hi hat work is fukin tight
My gosh!!! That performance!!!!
If the pocket piano has not dynamics and thin sound, all Chick Corea's work is missed.
Chick wasn't only a technical virtuoso but a very emotive player.
His phrasing was very far away from this guy, sorry.
I couldn't agree with you more.
All I see is a pianist showing off his technique. It clearly lacks soul..
this sounds like Gran Turismo menu music.
Is the bass player Jim Carrey? 😍🥰
Wffffffffff exelent 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Donna Lee over Giant Steps is crazy. Smh
Claramente en el 00:46 se puede escuchar un "NO MANCHES" xD Arriba México ♥ saludos a todos
"the new Chick Corea"? 😆 ridiculous even suggesting such a thing.
Exactly! The legend just passed away, don’t do him such a disservice 😂
agreed
pretty lame 🤣
It’s not Jesus it’s the pocket piano it has no dynamics and bad sound.
Insanely brilliant players. The drummer is amazing and more! Loved this! Bravo!
What a performance! … ❤…
Nice to see people keeping jazz alive but somehow it does not grab me. Needs to have a bit of cool
Chick corea potential?
Chick was a phenomenal composer.
Jesus may develop his technical ability, but the story telling behind Chicks compositions are a very different skill.
Accordion.... ☠ 🔥
agree 100%
For me, Jesus's style reminds me more of Oscar Peterson than Chic Corea, although I like both.
He is excellent but no chick corea.😊
I agree, he is literally not chick corea and no one will ever be, but Jesus is hands down the most technically gifted jazz pianist I have ever seen
Oscar Peterson🤔
👍
you can fool some of the people some of the time but you can't fool all the people all the time
Dont get me wrong, he is gifted however chick was a great composer an absolute jazz legend. There a many great players but great composers are very rare. Hopefully Jesus continues forward in that regard. I wish him all the best.😊
😲🤯
Nice to see he's not so fat anymore. Good inspiration to all fat people. Stop dreaming about Wegovy and pick up some weights. Playing was divine ofc.
giant steps!!!
Wait! Or Donna Lee if you hold your phone upside down.
Get a grip. Chick Corea is a master. Listen to "Now He Sings" and you'll hear why such a comparison is absurd.
GOOD LAWD ❤
Is the drummer mad at someone? That was AWESOME!!!!!
Pocket piano: horrible sound! 🤦🏻♂️😂
everything about this is so gen-z lol
Just wish these guys could keep up the tempo, lol
Only speed, not musicality
Would you say the same of Oscar Peterson , John Coltrane when they were playing at those speeds and faster ?
🔥 📛 👨🚒
Pls, Jesus, can you resolve tastefully from time to time? We get it, you're a virtuosic.
Its the Jazz Olympics! 😂
or the Jazz Animaniacs! Sounds like cartoon music.
@@poldidak Burlesque, a musical caricature, even though im maybe 4% the musician Mr Molina and co are
The worst piano sound I have ever heard 🤮Enjoyed the playing 👍
The face of the girl paints exactly what this guy “music” represents… souless and empty playing.
Seems like everybody is now playing Giant Steps like it's a rite of passage. Good tune but I'm tired of hearing it played like it's part of a sporting event. New Chick Corea ? I don't think so, Joey Alexander at 12 years old could wear this guy's ass out.
Totally unlistenable.
Chick corea potencial? Never !! Boring
They can all play and yet they play the most boring technical overplayed shit. What is this??
Zzzzz....Giant Steps. Zzzz...
THE NEW CHICK COREA 🤣🤣🤣
not in a miljoen years
he needs better drummers
😂😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
YOU CAN FOOL SOME OF THE PEOPLE SOME OF THE TIME
BUT YOU CAN'T FOOL ALL OF THE PEOPLE ALL OF THE TIME
HE NEEDS BETTER DRUMMING
