- I don't know how I get myself into these situations. Spearfishing with Johan Potgieter AKA Pottie is always daring but rewarding
Shore dives can be very tricky when spearfishing but this video is border line crazy. The tricky part is getting in and out of the water. When you go into the water you have to wait for a big swell to come through and jump in on the back of the swell and swim out. You do not put your fins on until you are about 10m away from the rocks.
The getting out part is even worse. Here you get as close to the rocks as you can and wait for a big wave to pick you up onto the rocks. Then you hang on for life as the wave pulls back and you crawl up to safety.
So if you can manage this to get in and out the spearfishing is amazing. Bonnies, crackers, romans, galjoen and plenty other fish to be found.

Invest in slow mag voor n duik sessie, ek het gereeld gesukkel met krampe in water(in some suffer ek gereeld saans met krampe) maar van Dat ek slow ag gevat het veral voor n duik nog nie weer kramp in water gekry nie

Daar is baie makliker entry aan ander kant van daai baaitjie my maat. Ook klim in jou tjops maar die inklim is beter meer beskut daai ledge wat daar in see sit keer see se pakgee effe.

@Bloudam, you IT is not wise pointing spearguns at someone. It is like pointing firearms at your buddy, empty or loaded. I am unable to do anything over weekends since cancer has taken hold of me the last 4 years. I used to shoot competition shotgun and handgun. Used to paddle ski, dive, shoot with SANDF at their computer simulators, and load my own rounds. I watched some of your videos as you can see and even subscribed to your channel as you have good content, but pointing your budd is looking for trouble.
