I like this. But for me I would make a few changes lang. I would not need the garage so that area can be a bedroom. Then I would remove the 2nd storey living area and make that part of the balcony, which I would cover either with part of the skillion roof or with a separate steel roof/awning. I would also make the front door flush to the wall, para hindi sayang ang space. I would find a way to make a small patio on the ground floor. But the 8 x 8 box is good.

Agreed, small room on bottom floor become a kitchen. No living space on top floor needed (too hot in tropical countries). I would keep the garage though ;)
