- Knull is so much fun, I had to try him out in another deck, and his synergy with Arnim Zola seemed like the perfect opportunity to do some crazy stuff in a Destroy Combo deck!

That’s me in the second game trying to make a Valkyrie deck work. I Read the Zola all the way and then learned the hard way that Valk doesn’t work on knull. 😂 gg
Knull is Ongoing, Valkyrie only works on cards with fixed numbers. The better move is Shang-Chi or Rogue.
Talking about refunds in he beginning of the video: The no refunds policy has completely screwed me over. Titania had 1 minute left in the shop, I clicked on her and purchased her for 3000 tokens, as it processed the transaction the minute counted down. Then it was revealed that the game gave me Maria Hill. Maria for 3000 tokens was such a waste and player support said they can't help as they don't give refunds. It's like buying a bag of chips at the store but instead they give you an apple and say "no refunds" so stupid especially since it was a bug that gave me Maria.
Oh, that really sucks. Sorry dude.

I think not snapping is the better move for decks like this so you can see the final combo play out rather then a retreat.

What you said about the refunding for token shop purchases I agree with 100%.
The No Refunds feels purely technical, don't know if they accounted for what happens if you were to lose CL or if the game can save a card that was upgraded, then refunded, and then bought again
The No refunded is not just technical. If you bought a card, that card will be pull out of cache pool, thus making your chance of getting another card higher. Too many variables to put in refunds.
I don't have wave so i count only on Magik to pull the combo, could Psylocke maybe help a bit in this deck?

They’re just chilling playing the game, then out of nowhere I arrive, everything is showing, it’s flying down, what was just now in my hand is now placed with a gigantic *GADUNK* on my opponent… KNULL!
Got beaten by this earlier today. Bar Sinister was a location, and cloning vats. Needless to say I was staring down 1000+ Knulls.

Hearing about the refunds. Maybe they worried about way down the line; if you upgrade your cards and try to refund do you lose the splits and the collection level to take the card back?
How much extra coding for just or tracking the token versus collection level cards? Make sure players don't buy cards for a quick collection boost to send them back. While Token shop has some faults I still appreciate what it offers.

Can I only increase my pool once I got all the cards from my current pool unlocked or is it based on the green level?
Or is it based on my rank like bronze, silver, gold
The green level is your collection level Which increases as you level up cards. Pool 2 for collection level is somewhere around 200-474 where you only get pool 2 cards, after that you get 3-5 pool cards.

Is there any reasoning why we don't have challenges for tokens? I'm not asking for lot of tokens but just hoping you get some in the cache seems flawed.
Yup. I play a handful or two of matches a day and I've had Hood pinned my shop for, like, literally a week. And I'm still 200 tokens away. Like... come on.
Tokens as the devs explain them are not for "get free cards" as a main currency not even a secondary currency. Collector tokens want to be a very rare and limited resource to have "som reach" in particular cards you want. Or in other words: for now they dont want the players to be able to get Any card they want without buying bundles and stuff like that
@@KaiserTheDarkWolf I get that but come on, if a card is 6000 tokens and there is only one way to get through rng caches. Your looking at a very long time before your unlocking it. They need to make some kind of comprise

Like having one or two of your cards countered is a significant part of your entire deck!
How does knull work with mr negative
Best way to use knull is same way to use skrull. They are 1 card wonders that you can build around OR slot them in as a tech slot in a already god tier deck. I don't see many that do this but i've found knull to be completely broken in a lockjaw deck with zabu and shang chi. Haven't seen anyone try it yet cept myself lol.
i think deadpool could realy shine in this deck since you go for turn 7 you can play zolo and deadpool in one turn
id swap nova and deathlock for deadpool and forge

the biggest issue i can think of about refunding would be all of the cubes a player has earned with that card. i think it’d be unfair to just be able to refund a card whenever even if you’ve used it. maybe you could get half of the tokens back for refunding?
Is this possible without Venom, tho?

I mean, all of the youtube videos about absorbing man before the release made me buy him in the shop... I don't even use him now and I regret everything. Even a -20% value for refunds is good for me.
The most likely reason why there is no refunds is because if you buy a variant for the card and then refund it, it might be to complicated

Because we need to power our knull, and we have magik. There might be some merit in running electro too, but we need fodder that we can kill too!

The next counter deck is Zola Shang Chi
You only need a 2 power unit + ShangChi to win tho. Zola is 0 power you win that lane with literally any card, you only need to Shang Chi one lane. But that is so obvius that people usually dont do that and they actually Shang Chi the Knull lane because (literally) they belive that you will play around that doing Zola on the other lanes to win with Knull in one and for example Venom zola or death Zola in other lane (which is a safer play. Its quite complicate to beat the Zola situation in this deck because being able to death for 0 + Zola or venom + Zola makes you guess what is the right scenario that you can beat.
At the 16:51 time stamp you would've lost if he played anything in Nidavellir. You would've won mid, but lost the left and right locations. Although, I wouldn't have risked it either if I was in his position, you had him dead to rights.
Did you forget about Nexus? I was about to add 32 power to Nidavellir. They knew anything I played was about to be tripled.

How to counter this? You purposely will be losing so you don’t reveal first and play Shang chi in one of the other locations to win
here is a good argument next to no refunds: what if you won big time with that card?! should they take away your cubes too? in return of your tokens ofc... because noone can tell if you would have won or not without said card!
Thats not an excuse. You can make restrictions for getting a Refund but in general if you are offering a limited token to exhange for cards and for you "every card en the same rarity worths the same amount of tokens" - Riot games has a 3 times refunds policy for example, you can refund up-to 3 times any product you buy with any currency.
After that your account cant get more refunds for any product (unless something happen with that product and you send a ticket and they find it valid) what would be the problem of people being able to Test a card and refund the card if that dont work for them? Its not easy to make a good call if one card will really help your account until you play it.
Atleast in a game like this where you cant craft card and decks are not archtype focus (more like mechanic focus). If you dont have all the pieces of a meta deck you cant really tell how much that card affects the deck until you put the deck on ladder.
I run primarily a Panther Zola deck and the amount of Shang Chis I’ve dodged is insane. It’s beautiful when it happens
Edit: I run with Forge and Okoye so my BP on drop is usually 6+ so always baits a SC
I play that deck with wong as well. That wong panther zola combo is nasty

refund is bad in a game like this cause then there is no limitations with tokens if you can just all ways refound them so once you hit like 5000 tokens you can have so much more cards to use and the point if the game is that cards are hard to get so you have to watch out which ones you buy with the tokens if you can always refound the card then it wouldnt be the same and having up to 10000 tokens could mean that you can play any style you want because you can always just temproily refund it and use another card
