It's one that has grown on my. It's my favourite of the Nordics and probably in my top 10 now.

Love her! Live in Madrid she didn't do all the high notes, but she didn't need to. The crowd sang the whole song for her - they loved it. She just looked like she was having so much fun and taking the p*** (in a good way) out of the song, playing around. Although, after Madrid she dropped from my number 1 to my number 2 song this year, and my number 1 is probably not going to be yours because I love it for the performance art and stage presence - Serbia, Luke Black. Austria currently 3 for me with Sweden 4.
Ohhhh! That’s so cool. I’m still not sure about what my favourite is, but as you know I’m not doing every song on the channel. I am doing more than last year Luckily I’ve got Serbia, Austria, and Sweden lined up.

@@TheMuserResolute Wohoo! Can't wait - fully subscribed now :) In Madrid Serbia did a colab with Konstrakta from last year - both showed up in each others' performances. I'll link a crowd video from Madrid below on last year's artist from last Saturday (not to spoil Luke's song), because the Madrid streaming was absolutely Gawd awful and the sound is much better from the crowd than the official streams. I think she could have taken it a bit more seriously, people were actually paying to see her... And she sounded quite bad. I would have been very dissapointed if my favorite would performed like that and I have come to see her.

Did you identify the note just from listening to it? Is that what perfect pitch is?
Heya! I did, kind of, but I don’t have perfect pitch. Perfect pitch is where you can instantly identify a pitch or simultaneous pitches. I don’t have that exact ability.
I played a couple of notes until I identified the starting note of the chorus, and from there, because I could identify the scale, I could play the rest.
This is a case of strong relative pitch which everyone is capable of through greater exposure to music and learning music theory 😊
I’d love to say I have perfect pitch, but I don’t.

Some people feel it was rigged that Sweden would win, since next year it's 50 years since ABBA won Eurovision ( and some reacted on that Loreen apparently was the only one with a microphone atrached to her ear while the points was given)

I like this one a lot but the lyrics and the singing of the chorus is for some reason much worse than the rest. It’s like very shouty in the chorus and the lyrics are very bland. I wished it had more oomph.
On the night I had this first and Finland second and Belgium third … I think Cha cha got into my head too much but this wow !! It’s so sassy and brilliant

Medieval music was often in the 6/8 beat? uh, ok? This song is built like and sounds like a shanty. But you might not have heard about shanties in music education?
Both work with 6/8 time signature and around the natural minor scale - Unfortunately, I was wrong regarding the scale as it’s very much a harmonic minor scale 😔
