Think you will be having these a while longer as Ajax seems to have some turret clearance and wobble problems due to the 20,000 lbs of recoil from CTA 40.
You can tell the old cvrt drivers, by them not having front teeth!

Thx for the intersting Video. I am currently researching for a Video about the Blues and Royals involvement in the Falklands War and the inside shots give some perspective to the vehicles.
All British AFVs have one essential item of kit that makes them the best in the world, a Boiling Vessel (BV). They do more than heat water for tea they will heat food as well.
I miss the old days preparing for battle with Ivan. This chasing Muslims in the desert stuff is getting boring. Bring back DPM. Bring back big army vs big army!!
Great to see the good old “black and nasty” tape still keeping the drivers rubber surround together...great stuff...
LOL, I was just about to say that, you could never get that thing to stick down properly and stop the rain leaking in!
Excellent.... might be donkey whallopes but they have the good kit. We had scorpion and scimitar, fox and chieftain.then CR1 and 2

Does anybody know how many cvrts are in the service in 2020?
CVRT easy to loose it and run IF YOU can get out due to small hatches also no swimming or armor.
Have you seen the size of Ajax, size of a warrior vehicle lol
Fab video of a great bit of British engineering ...... But what is that strange box next to the main gun ?? K
It’s a sight
But the real important question is. “Where is the Kettle for a brew?”
It’s in there somewhere I’m sure

There is one actually. Never let it be said that the British army didn't supply the means for a brew up ;)
...more than likely keeping this old workhorse together in other places too...
