can't really see why he was crossed to the fasts, then back onto the slows for P 14? unless the bobby was performing a circuit proving move in a rare quiet slot.....

Why did it go up the fasts between slade lane and Piccadilly and not down the slow? Makes no sense to do this and will just cause more congestion. The slows are there for this reason. Why not use them? Seems very strange.

Why is the train taken across Piccadilly East Junction when it could have stayed on slow lines from the airport spur?

(Incorrect info from me removed)In my opinion the track layout is a mess as lines change from paired by directions to by use. IMO it needs grade separation

@@petersimons5675 Where are you going to fit in grade separation? The castle field corridor needs upgrading desperately but has no space. Most of the clashes have been reduced with the TPE services coming in via Victoria and Oxford Road so the Piccadilly throat is a lot better than it used to be.

@@petersimons5675 Also, this service didn’t go to the terminal platforms - it used that through lines as it continued to Liverpool.

@@OfficialRyanx it can need grade separation does not mean it practical. There lot of railway improvements you would make in an ideal world but in reality can not be made.
