I'm sorry to tell the fans of solo leveling this, but here the monarch loses, Mori is already on a different plane at the end of the story, the final battle of his mamhwa and the power level leave behind what was shown in the ending of sung jin woo, even if he traveled back in time to face the other monarchs again and win single-handedly, even against the monarch of destruction, he is still left behind, just being stronger than the monarch of destruction is not enough, Jin Mori is too powerful, I would say maybe more powerful at the end of the series, than the original monkey king at the end of Journey to the West which is curious, because his story is supposed to be a version of the mythologies coexisting together and being this version of Buddha, the biggest and most powerful bad guy, who betrayed him and his friends at the end of the trip... and even so, he beat him much later, his fate was worse than that of the original monkey king , but I ended up stronger in return
