I used to live in Chicopee Massachusetts. The park near my home, called Szot Park had one of these Stuarts on display. They took great care of it... always freshly painted. My friends and myself would visit the park and sit on the tank, just talk the day away... everyone loved it.
To be honest, I'm tired of going through the same painting process as many other modelers. That's why I try to explore and experiment with experimental techniques little by little each time, working while devising ways to enjoy myself. It may seem like a strange technique to others, but I enjoy it a lot. Thank you for your comment.👍
@Scale Model Club 2 I know exactly what you mean! I've just built Andys 1.16 sherman and I went around this model a completely different way trying new things in different orders etc tbh it's come out amazing! Just going with the flow not sticking to routine definitely a new way for me to explore it's bringing the fun side back into it aswell!
That is a true work of art, the painting and weathering was absolutely outstanding, congratulations on a job well done, very best regards from Australia 👍👍👍👍👍
What is there to say? What a beautiful piece of art. You are an artist. I almost wish you could just have a rotating picture of it that goes on for 5 minutes, just to take in all the exquisitely beautiful detail. Excellent excellent work. Congratulations
Hello, your tutorial is very good as always and I'm always happy when something new comes from you, you have a great technique for weathering your models, I'm very enthusiastic, I discovered the earth paste from Gunze through you and have it for myself also bought and I have to say I have never had anything better, this paste is just right and I only use this one!! keep doing it!! Greetings from Germany
Weathering paste may have some peculiarities, but I think it's a very easy paint to use once you understand its characteristics. Have a great time. And thank you for always praising me. I will return the comment of thanks from far away Japan.✋
Definitely gonna give this a try the OD brush stipple kind of for a white wash tank it looks like this would be a great technique for white washing just use a washable white over everything after the gloss coat seal in!
I was trying a new mix for chipping OD yesterday on this 1.1.16 sherman and OD and Ochre yellow is a brilliant colour for the chipping! I've tried loads different ways but think I'll be sticking to this, just wanted to pass it on if you were interested?
I'm learning hard while watching your diorama :) What is the difference between enamel paint and acrylic paint? I use enamel paint. あなたのジオラマを見ながら、私は一生懸命学んでいる。 エナメルペイントとアクリルペイントの違いは何? 私はエナメルペイントを使う。
Acrylic paint dries quickly and cannot be corrected once dry. Therefore, even if you layer different colors, you don't have to worry about the colors underneath melting out. Enamel paint dries slowly and can be dissolved with solvents even after it dries. Because of its characteristics, I think it is easy to do blurry expressions with a brush. I use them properly while taking advantage of their respective characteristics.😆 アクリルペイントは乾くのが早く、乾くと修正ができません。 👍
Your work is amazing. Is there a general rule for newbies to follow for weathering, distressing, scratches etc? Such as which colors to lay down first etc?
It is difficult to explain how to proceed with work because it is case-by-case. However, when it comes to painting and weathering, I would say that I always keep in mind to do a careful job. Although it is a work to add scratches and dirt, proceeding with work roughly will adversely affect the final finish. It is a good idea to proceed with the work while telling yourself to be careful and polite. Thanks for your comment.🍺🍺🍺
Maybe you have a photo but adding gas cans to the back of the turret is goiing to mess up the balance and strain the turret rotation motor. You are a brilliant modeler do doubt of that.
There is a special solvent sold, but I don't use it, I always use X-20 THINNER, a solvent for Tamiya enamel paints, to thin it. Thanks for your comment.👍
Well done, it was a superb painting!
Thank you.😄

Hi mate, a excellent Video and a beautiful reveal of your A5A1 ... thanks for sharing, cheers Markus
Thank you for your comment.😆
It's a completely crazy way to paint a model, backwards, fanciful, but visually interesting, you'd be happy to put it on your coffee table or desk

Thank you. But I can't talk.🍰
Amazing work...:)
Thank you.😄🍎
Superb 👍
Thank you。😆

Perfeito! Espetacular! Fantástico! 😃💯💥👍
Obrigado.🍀
Awesome 😎
