  • I decided to replace my stock pipe with something a bit more aggressive.
i chose the M4 Street Slayer with a Y pipe. overall very happy with this new exhaust pipe. Very loud but not overbearing or annoying.
I also sent my ECU to Bauce Racing to be flashed, to accommodate the new mod. Probably the best mod ive done on my R6!

I've got a 2016 60th ...did this to my first 007 blue r6 though b4 finding out other headersystems exist, anyway i hone'ed out the catalytic material as well for true str8 pipe like the 1200+systems ...you can drill and scrape it all out 💪🔧🔩🤙...but i ended up getting a oem system off ebay they are expensive asf new and truely the only system that offers a high high level of stealth with acceptable oem performance etc... that was years back ...looking for new system, this is a good option 4 sure tho new headers are less pricey now however then they were back when 06/07 just hit...fact they stuck around from 08-16 unchanged nearly a decade helped prices dramatically so incase you want to go back now,....just dont be surprised at prices if you check oem parts lists for stock replacment they are sTill ridiculous is all am sayin, so I'd have recommended aftermarket headers now that prices are down on them and keepin oem aside for use potentially later...no worries, Cool tho story's over sry LoLolol
System would be fully optimized if you hone out the cat you volume will not change much more flow still can improve 🙏💪👍

Without an ECU flash you will get a dead spot between 4-7000rpm. After a tune you will make more. I made 114hp on a dyno after doing the car delete. I used a gtyr slip on
