The look you created is so beautiful and glam without being too much. I don't own any pressed glitters but I have tested a few in store. My thought is you won't get a true glittery effect with a press glitter on it's own. Like you said, they need the right base underneath for maximum payoff. Chucky glitter is a challenge to line over but the end results here are lovely.

This absolutely stunning! I wish I could get my eyeliner like yours but I’m a lot older than you and I have hooded/ saggy eyes on the outer corners which makes it hard to do the liner like yours.

Hi An, your makeup is always phenomenal! I thought I would share with you my trick for applying glitter. I use a sponge tipped applicator that has been moistened with a good gel based setting spray. It does such a good job of picking up product and distributing onto the lid. The setting spray helps it stay put all day.

*You did a beautiful job, An. I really just wish Colourpop would STOP putting those crappy glitters into their palettes! They’re NOT eye safe and a lot of people don’t know that, especially the teenagers who buy tons of their palettes. I’ve had a scratched cornea before and it’s no joke! It would be really easy if they just sold them as single pressed glitters and quit taking up space in the palettes.*

I've always wanted to try that Bobbie Brown vitamin enriched face base but I heard it's horrible to clog up your pores and cause bad breakouts. But I have dry skin and I rarely break out so maybe I would do okay with it. I'm also wanting to try the Tatcha dewy moisturizer too! I heard it works great and is perfect for under makeup.
