That's so wildly accurate. He is absolutely incredible through recording and sessions, but live, my god. Infinitely better. He has such exuberant energy and his voice live, honestly, my god, left me speechless.

Man, this is the video I found when I was 12. Now I’m 18 and so grateful I found this video when I did because I grew up on Allen’s songs and they’ve helped me get through some things while growing up. Allen is an amazing artist and I wish more people knew about him :’)

I was a little kid maybe about 6 or 7 when I heard this song. It was on one of my brother's CDs and it was one of the songs I would play over and over. The lyrics and sound just captivated me as a child. I bet I could honestly say this is one of the first songs I've ever come to like. One of my true favs. Hearing this version just brings me chills though. Serious skills.

the voice crack adds to the proof that he is incredible. Most singers would try to cover it up or redo the recording and not post it. When you embrace your voice with all it's imperfections and emotions, is when you truly are an artist in my opinion.
