Allen Stone I am so glad to have found your music. I am eagerly holding on to these VIP tickets to meet you and tell you how much your music means to me in person. Good vibes and love to you dude!
yesssir. The last few years i have been looking at artists live performances instead of listening to their record. You can definitely tell real performers when you hear them live
Luiz Henrique P I love that you said that!! I always comment on the vibe shared in every song video I’ve watched! His band jams every time but if you watch them.. it’s like it’s their first time hearing him sing!! The way you can see their undeniable appreciation for his gift is amazing.. you’d think they had no rehearsals nothing that was the first time y’all!! I love seeing their reactions to his voice and his soul and his energy and his sincere and humble and powerful talent!! Man!!
The thing is all of his music videos jam they are amazing...but correct me if I'm wrong nothing compares to him singing live! That's why I loved when he was so gracious to and for the people that love the music on this platform! Raw and unedited and sincere! It just hits different! I prefer all music especially the real artists that write there own music and it means something! They get to show more emotion when it's performed this way! My apologies for the long response I just love this so much! Be Blessed! ♥ ♥
@Julia Holmes I just saw him live here in Miami. Wow what a talent there are few artists who sound better live and Allen is one of them. Definitely want to see him live again
So excited to see him in do a tiny desk finally. Been a big fan of both him and tiny desk for years. I almost dropped my phone when I just got this TH-cam notification. Love it
Yes highly recommend his live performances here on TH-cam like Unaware and Is This Love and can’t go wrong with any of his albums. No bad place to start.
When I tell you, I love love it and love him!! Bless him, and all his talents! His wife! Congratulations Allen on getting married, so happy for you and your beloved one! Bless the band the background singers OMG! I remember the last time he came to Philly well, I got a chance to see him down at Penns Landing, and he is phenomenal! Thank you tiny desk for finally putting this amazing Talented artist, front and center stage!! Loving on you from Philly!!!
Been a big fan since I first heard “Unaware”(live from his mother’s living room) -check that out if you haven’t!!- saw him live several years ago and it was phenomenal. Pure soul. Also check out his stuff he made with Tingsek.❤️
I have been a fan of Allen Stone foreverrrrr and I've seen him live 3 times. He was always a too well kept secret! So glad he will get that audience and recognition he deserves!
Such a pure humble soul . And his undying desire to express his love for his wife and to express how grateful he is to be able to share his music . Gotta love it !
One of the most sonically sound and pleasing Tiny Desks I’ve seen. Between Al and the background singers the pianist everything compliments each other perfectly. When their not there you barely notice and when they join in you feel as if they’ve been there the whole time. Thank you for this.
Allen is the king of live performances. FACT! This man literally releases a song which you immediately fall in love with up until you hear him singing it live then it’s game over, you’re hooked and addicted for life.
One of the most underrated artist ever! I have been a fan of Allen's since day one and I am absolutely thrilled to see him on tiny desk. He is a teue talent and should be celebrated more!

@@sustainablemma283 Same here. Unaware was his big break but it is old. I personally like his newer "post love/Wiser Allen" material. He speaks a lot of his personal growth in his interviews from the last year or so and it shows in his music. His TEDTalk on mental real estate is a particularly good listen. He references how he moved on from carrying bitterness during the time period he was indebted to his ex manager and other stuff going on in his life. Great to see he's come out on top from that period of his life.

GIVE YOU BLUE
[Verse 1]
I can't stop the rain
But I will keep you dry
If the shore feels far away
I'll be by your side
And when the storms arise
I will shelter you
When your sky is gray
I will give you blue
[Verse 2]
I can't move a mountain (I can't move, I can't move)
I am just a man (just a man, understand)
I can't undo what's happened (can't un-[do], but for you)
But I will understand (just a man, understand)
And although it may hurt
Baby, I'll tell you the truth
'Cause when your sky is gray
I will give you blue
[Verse 3]
I can't stop the rain (I can't stop, stop the rain)
But I will wipe your tears (but for you, stop it rain)
I wish I could take what hurts you ([?], just for you)
And just make it disappear (just for you)
But I can't work no miracles
But I'll do what I can do
When your sky is gray
Well baby, I will give you blue
When your sky is gray
I will give you blue
Give you blue
