i once got pulled over because a car fitting my description drove off without paying for gas. i admitted i got gas, showed the cop my receipt and registration, i made a joke about how my girlfriend is going to be mad at me for being late and we both laughed. and i was let go.

It literally would have been that easy. It's not like you can be further investigated for possessing a "stolen" item that is REGISTERED to you. I guarantee if she got her head out of her ass instead of automatically assuming they were trying to claim she stole her own car, they would have just went and tried to figure out why it was reported stolen and then why it never got taken off the list. It could have easily been that the car really was stolen, say a week ago, and then she got alerted to the car's location and retrieved it herself without the police or without the officer present ensuring that it was then taken off the list properly. Someone somewhere down the line drops the ball and keeps it on the list by accident and then of course it is going to get pulled over next time the tag is ran. It is an easy thing to fix, and you have nothing to worry about from it unless you have illegal shit in plain view or the car reeks of weed. She blew this out of proportion for literally no reason.

As a black woman I am mortified and embarrassed by this woman’s behavior. All the stereotypes are on full display along with the standard call, “I can’t breathe.” The entire situation was escalated by her. The officers were incredibly patient and did a thorough job to investigate whether the car was stolen or not. I think ultimately a lot of people just want their 5 minutes of fame, especially in this divisive culture. Imagine reporting your car as stolen, not informing the police that you got it back and then behaving like this when they find your car. Any normal person would say “oh goodness - I forgot to tell you that I got it back. Here is my licence and registration to show that it’s mine officer”. The police would check it and everyone goes on their way. This woman is a new breed of crazy though - I’m not sure I’ve ever heard anyone scream so loud and for so long as this. Her throat must be so sore, but then again she sounds like she’s used to behaving like this so maybe her throat is just used to it. So she decides to go from a mishap traffic stop that could be easily sorted to trying to drive away which brings FELONY fleeing and eluding charges. I’ve not finished the video so I don’t know if they do charge her with that since she didn’t get anywhere, but why on earth would any sane person attempt it?

Several years ago, my back went out, where I was bent over, couldn't bend back up, severe paid, muscles in full spasm. I had to go to the emergency room and they managed to lay me in a bed, on my side and left me. Well, the spasm got worse and it actually made it hard to breath. I was yelling I can't breath and the nurse finally came in a d said, you can to or you couldn't yell! I said, you're right, but, I am having trouble.
