This is probably one of theory of a deadman's best songs. It has such a great meaning and flows so well and the instrumentals are perfect.
Just wanted to let you guys know, this song saved my life. I was with this girl, and I thought she was perfect, my soul mate. We were amazing together, or so I thought. She changed almost overnight, and tossed me aside like I was only in her way. I was in shambles. I thought there could be no more pain worse than this. I was on the verge. This song came on my Pandora walking home one day and it clicked. I played it over and over until I was able to let go. So... thank you for my life back.

I can't help but hear lyrics like these literally and imagine a story about an actual angel in some sort of fantasy supernatural conflict, enlisting the help of a human to fight with her, and then, romance, drama, ect. not the most novel concept I'm sure, but cool to picture in my head.

I came 2nd in TOADM's Facebook t-shirt design competition, but after 2 months I didn't get the prize, so I sent them an e-mail and they said could I make it to the next show. I was going to that one anyway. During the show I managed to get a guitar pick with their name on it. When the show ended, I went up to one of the security guards and showed them the email telling me I had come 2nd in the competition. He then took me backstage to meet the band for free, get my t-shirt with the design on it signed by all the band members, and a free hoodie. A couple of days later I got my prize in the mail, which included a signed copy of Savages, a t-shirt, and a cup holder with their name on it.
