There is no one that can tell a tale like Bob. !!! Incredibly naturally funny man and so lovable with it. I go back time and time again to watch Bob it doesn’t matter that I’ve heard them a thousand times . I could rattle off his stories adverbatum and still laugh after the hundredth watch !!!! Adore him 💕💕💕💕💕
It's one of my favourites too. He creates such a visual image of the owl/cat/broom. The way he tries to talk himself out of a total lack of owl based knowledge. The owls name. Everything about it is funny 😂
All Bob's stories are obviously bullshit but turn out to be true... That's the Mortimer magic. The leather masks, dentistry, firework stories were all unbelievable but turned out to be true.
@@leontinemccain5170 Not to this degree, the fact that a colostomy bag is blatantly not something an owl would use, coupled with a strict nanny culture in the UK which would prohibit animal organisations from acting like this, pushed it beyond the usual 'just highly implausible' area into 'clearly bs'.
This is an incredibly sick bird 😂

Mitchell having a stroke at "meat and feathers" is one of my favourite things of all time.
“How did I?”
😂😂
Bob Mortimer is a legend because he realized the game was up 24 seconds in but still continued the bit for another 5 insane minutes
Steve's picture on Wikipedia is literally him holding an owl, how would the producers expect anyone to fool him on this one lmao
Because it's an incredibly sick bird
We're talking just meat and feathers here.

For no reason in particular, I looked up Warehorne, UK. There is indeed a rare breeds farm near Warehorne.
"but the thing still escaped?" Hahaha
"And we had some decent times" 😂👌🏼
I love this one. The one rare Bob story that was so obviously BS that it didn't even stress out David.

Also the fact that anyone would try and look after a desperately sick bird and not humanely euthanize it but give it to a comedian with cats.
"Yes, it's the rare breeds farm in Warehorne...does family days...sadly doesn't have an owl at the moment."
Hilarious.
You know you've made it as a funny man when you reduce Lee to helpless laughter!
Bob Mortimer is not only hilarious but damn cute with it.
A rare occasion when David Mitchell didn't lose his mind listening to a Bob Mortimer story.
Lump of meat with feathers 😂😂
Wow I expected it to be true because I’ve never heard him lie in the show. His crazy stories are always true!
It's crazy that both this and Theft and Shrubbery were in the same episode
Is there a problem here Steve?
💀💀
Genius.
As a healthcare worker I’m actually really quite moved by Lee’s quick pick up of the incorrect suffix re col-ostomy vs col-estomy
No! That was never going to happen
