Yeah definitely mate I checked it over fully before stepping foot on it, I had to anyway due to the top apex being unreachable, it was that or get on the big roof which is scary :D it was solid a nice pitch to walk, scaffolding would of caught me anyway as it was pressed to the guttering 👍

You did an awesome job on the roof Sid. I can't believe the roofs there get so mossy. Over here you probably would be a roofer putting fresh tar on flat roofs.
Another top job sid pal. Just a quick one try standing on the bottom of the tile as that's the strongest point as it has the head of the tile underneath for bit more strength so shouldn't fracture ( not trying to sound patronising) as I know you know what your doing all the best as always pal
Having to explain that your working safe just screams how tedious health and safety has become. Haha. Amazing job on the roof tho lad. Putting in the work getting it done 🤜🤛👊
Health and safety is alright. People on youtube often being overly critical about things they know nothing about is what's tedious. One day he might not explain it, and then come back to see half his comments yelling that *obviously* he wasn't being safe. And even if he was being safe, they'll be arguing that because he didn't explain it, it's misleading other people to think it might be okay to do without those steps too. They'll always find some way to twist it around.
Yeah it’s very true I’ve explained things a million times so don’t want to keep boring my regular viewers so stop mentioning it then I get vilified again 😂😂

... Pretty sure you wouldn't like my roof. House is about 35 years old and the previous owners completely neglected the entire building (and the builders were terrible. For example, instead of distributing insulation around in the loft equally like normal people, they just emptied the bags and left it all in a massive 2.5m-tall pile)... we haven't gotten round to doing the roof yet 10 years on.
@@PartridgeExteriorCleaning pretty sure I'd go broke with how many weeks it'd probably take to get it all off haha (5-bed house and the roof is all over the place with angles)
Just found your channel. Love the videos! Out of curiosity, why do scrape the roofs instead of jet washing them? I have seen some other guys doing it. I was wondering if there’s a reason of if you just prefer it this way?
Good question! It's the least risk in my opinion, ideally with pressure washing a roof you would need two guys to do it safely, even just having someone down below to clean up all the mess as you go also. It can turn a one day roof job into a 2 or 3 day job just because of the mess. It's more cost effective for me, Safer overall as some roofs are in bad shape, easier to sell a scrape and biocide as most customers are wary of high pressure.
