Btw, I got a motion capture suit and I'm going to make a concert in Fortnite using my music. I also want to add cutscenes (cinematics) that make it seem more like a music video rather than just a "live event". I will also add lyrics on the screen. I really hope it turns out amazing because in my mind I'm already blown away thinking about it lol
I've been playing a lot of UEFN and I think the number of players were so low because there was no XP unlike in other creative maps. The XP introduced this week is really good I could see more people playing and especially in the horror maps where players would just leave the game if they couldn't solve a clue for example because there was no incentive to stick around.
Yeah, I agree that Fortnite needs to put the blame on the creators if there's copyright, OR even do what TH-cam does; let maps get unmonetized, but not delete THE ENTIRE MAP or Ban creators (although that's possibly to just to scare them). Like c'mon guys, just being strict alone instead of Fixing the issue is only bad for Epic Games and their player count, not the creators. I can think of a quick solution alone of possibly a sign-up page for only copyright owners (like Call Of Duty) to create an Epic Games account, verify their ownership somehow, and then being able to takedown any game they want on Fortnite that use their copyrighted things
I did know about the custom vehicles thing but I didn’t know people could import the weapons from save the world! Imagine what sorts of crazy stuff people are gonna make when Epic gives us the ability to import our own weapon to or customize existing ones! I might try making a new lock-in burst weapon like a rocket launcher when that happens.
I wish Epic would loosen up on a lot of stuff. Other games with actual mod tools didn't have any sort of control over what was made with it, which led to some really amazing possibilities... but here, maybe due to the whole "live service" thing, Epic locks down way too much.
I think the main 'issue' is the fact that unlike other mod making games or whatever you want to call them, Epic is letting us PUBLISH our creations officially into the game. And even more so, they want Fortnite to be some kind of legit content creation platform. And like any large respectable platform they've got to set rules on what is and isn't allowed. They're basically trying to become the TH-cam of Interactable experiences, and like TH-cam they need to put rules and what's allowed and stuff. I guess another problem is that as far as I know legal stuff tends to be extremely strict most of the time and I think after the passing of some law or other (I think it was Article 13? It was a huge panic for TH-cam a few years ago), it means content creation platforms are responsible for the stuff IN IT. Therefore, if someone makes a copyrighted map or whatever, that's EPIC'S problem, not the CREATOR'S, hence again, Epic needing to be extra strict.

Nor does it address locking down meshes for the guard spawner or vehicles. When people used to glitch in unreleased stuff, Epic banned them and said not to do that because their code is not supposed to be in Creative Mode and it can cause problems. So long story short, using unreleased stuff is supposedly a potential risk and so we have to wait till they come out Officially. Though as someone else said, maybe they're banning STW guns/ items because not only is STW super old so it has super old code that may be even more unstable. But it's also not balanced for BR (I know this is creative mode, but by default, players have BR levels of health and shields which are WAY lower than STW ones so those weapons do like, thousands of damage points) and most relevantly, STW is a PAID mode. Meaning it may fall under the same boat as the old Chapter maps where you're not supposed to have/ use them outside of where/ when they're supposed to be.
I’ve been afking in one of the speed maps and just holding down one of the buttons on my controller to drive an octane to space. That gets me so much easy afk xp.
hey, i found out how to make custom camera , So first get the richyToons boss device , Then Place a camera and make a sequencer but you need NO keyframes in transform , Then rightclick the camera and atach it to the prop that u used for the Boss device ( i would recommend use the nocollision painting01 )
The weapons are still possible to get I be it more difficult. It now requires you to put some items in a chest and place it then use uefn to copy it and paste it into a text file then scroll down to where it shows what items are in the chest and then change the wid to a different one then copy everything in the text file and paste it back into uefn
I've got what I think are two great UEFN games from a game play perspective - but I can't publish because my hyperwallet has some kind of issue and I've heard nothing from Epic
I made a pizza delivery game I posted about on my youtube - the better one I've done since I'm not talking about until I can publish. As someone who has been programming for Unreal for almost 10 years there's so much possible. It's frustrating to not be able to actually publish though over some paperwork issue.

I think you should only buy a motion capture if you are making animations pretty frequently or very complex, since it can be pretty expensive. But hey, thats just my opinion.
i think epic should let the map makers of creative 2.0 have access to vaulted items from old events or items that just got vaulted and the same with vehicles and that we should also be able to change the models of these weapons and vehicles.
the problem is not the discovery if im honest it's just that for now uefn is not really game changing as everyone was saying all the map are just fortnite map and not unique game you can find like on roblox or minecraft

The thing about the STW weapons is that they are a bit unbalanced. Damage in STW skyrockets and so Epic needs to balance it around that. STW weapons themselves are very powerful and unique. Most snipers are hitscan. There’s a railgun that when fully charged, can deal up to 4x the normal damage. There’s a pistol that fires a missile you guide with your crosshair, that also causes a ton of lag. There’s a gun that fires a wave of energy that travels through terrain. There’s a launcher that fires an energy shot, that explodes into 7 energy shots. There’s a rocket launcher that fires multiple shots rapidly and deals a ton of damage to builds. Not only that, but since STW is a payed experience, and the guns are very unique and fun, Epic might not want to just hand out the guns for free. A lot of the visual effects of STW weapons are outdated too, and look off when you directly compare them to current visual effects.
Yeah, plus I'd imagine STW is running on an Old Engine or old version or something like that. So they'd probably have to update the code of it to work properly in Creative/ BR mode. That plus the damage thing and so on means that Epic would have to do a LOT of work to add STW weapons to Creative. So combine that with the fact STW is technically a Paid experience and is it really worth it for Epic to put those in UEFN? Like, I'd imagine Epic thinks more/ new features/ devices would be better than some weapons. If you had to pick between a new device or some new weapons, which would you rather pick?
I belive that we won't get any save the world stuff beacause you need to pay to play it so for Epic this would be not good. This could make players focus more at Creative and UEFN but at cost of decreasing player base for Save the World which even now feels forgotten..
They should have a option to deactivate UEFN money play for them to not have any controversy whit the other ip and if the map have no money making from the map, it should mark on the discovery, must be big to.
It’s a shame that the developers can’t give us full freedom I can understand certain things for copyright issues but for that certain map with the copyright issue either make it so you can only play with your friends
I think it's mostly just a legal situation. Regardless of whether or not you publish it, it's still technically 'stolen' work. Maybe if you never published it, it's fine. But if you DO publish a copyrighted map, that's fair game for the copyright owners to annihilate you to pieces.
There is a way that you don’t need a mocap suit I forgot exactly but I saw a guy use 2 or 3 phones to record him at the same time and then he downloaded it on to a thing. You could just search it up it was a video on animation in fortnite.
They are trying to control what people build, and moderate things they dont like, & "Patch" or "Fix" it out of the game. This will push people away from creating things.

I think they took that Glitch with the cars because People were importing the Police cars so that’s why
