I'd try those with my berries cut up into smaller bits. I don't like soggy textures. They look crisp on the edges😋. Does the brown sugar caramelize the strawberry? If so, that's perfect for me.
Drop the muffin mix first then push the strawberrys n knob of butter into it , sprinkle the brown sugar ontop and your bottoms wont be soggy n fall apart.

Upside down cakes the fruit is in a caramel sauce to help preserve the fruit. She did it awkwardly though - normally the caramel is made, then placed in the mold, then the fruit, then whatever cake mix you're making.
Curious - they should work in metal muffin tins too, right? I don’t know what I did incorrectly but the bottom parts were not done at all. I wonder if 25 minutes at 350 may not be enough time? Thoughts?

I found the blueberry cheescake muffin mix in that brand. I'm going to try this with blueberries added.
They make silicone inserts to go inside those pans which keeps everything from sticking, their fabulous! I use them all the time.
