For Christmas, I bought two Rebelle Sweet Revenges for my daughters, which is basically the same blaster (different colors, obviously, plus some other minor cosmetic changes). I was very impressed with them and will definitely be getting a Hammershot for myself soon. One thing, though, I don't think dual wielding is practical at all. It takes WAY too much coordination to prime both guns while still trying to fire with any reasonable accuracy. It is possible to "fan the hammer" just like a real single-action revolver, but you have to be careful because I hurt my hand doing so.
+LordDraconical Semi and slam-fire is way better than full auto. This is because you can shoot faster than a rapid strike and conserve your ammo.(stock)

Hey drac, i recommend trying to work slamfire into the gun so you can fan it, maybe replace the 5 chamber barrel with a strongarm or maverick barrel, hope you see this!
Picked up a couple of these yesterday (9-8-15) and they're amazing sidearms. I love the fact that I can fire them one-handed and how level they shoot. I yanked the ARs and pegs from them and they shoot great. My only gripe is that they're a little on the pricy side and I can't quite figure out why they retail for $15usd instead of $10usd like the Strongarm. These were a great way to get back into Nerf and I look forward to using them at an upcoming outing.

This is by far my favorite Revolver blaster, it works almost like an actual revolver does which it what makes it so awesome... this goes perfectly with my Steampunk Gunslinger and well as the Sledgefire for the shotgun...

That thing looks amazing. I would love to see one painted but then it probably wouldn't be useful for college HvZ. Maybe tape over the tape on the handle for more realism, paint/texture the handle more realistically, etc. that would be cool.

I think they could have done better with the design, I mean... what if the thing that supported the cylinder could pop out and swing down so the whole cylinder could come out and a new loaded one coud go in? That would be sweet :D

I've been messing around with my darts, and I think I may have a mod for them. Get a pair of scissors and cut the tip of the dart off half way, and shorten the tip until it's flat. I've confirmed that it definitely hits harder, so in a modded blaster, it could be a semi-effective household defense weapon, as long as you're aiming for the balls. Not sure if it flies farther, but my limited results look promising. I've come to dubbing these the Flat Top.

Also shortening the actual shaft and using it in a frontloading modded plunger system will ensure that your target's balls will never recover. Thus, I call it the Nut Crusher round.
I purchased a hammershot yesterday it's awesome :) Yet to strip it down though, my priming mechanism doesn't spring back. It makes a hiss (air leak?) and then slowly returns to an unprimed state. Any hints on how to fix this?

My brother actually modded a maverick to do that. It's pretty annoying trying to fit them back in though.

It hits harder, sure. but it kinda decreases a range. you can fill in the whistler holes with hot glue. #YOURBALLSWILLDIE

Hmm, Hasbro's not claiming a range. Maybe they realised that shooting downhill isn't an accurate way of measuring the range.
