Pretty obvious also in this episode why the SKYROS is so popular. This thing is just trollish as heck and still powerful when it unfolds. They typically shoot you in the back or capture beacons. Imagine Carrier. They just sit on that beacon as long as it takes for all reds to be destroyed and the beacon turns blue. However... Not possible. Why? Cause you'll be sharing that beacon space with at least one more Skyros ^^

Hard to kill a Skyros (unless DOT or Creapers) but at least it can't shoot back in ball mode... unlike other unkillable things 🙄 Nice tip about shooting multiple Newtons btw 👍
As always Manni, fantastic explanations, great tips, and nice strategic advice. These specific-robot videos are a good idea. However, I would like to request other specific oriented videos but on other game aspects like maps. For example, list all the hidden nooks and crannies of, say, the Castle map: all ledges to hook onto to avoid Newton's Choke ability, high landing spots for flying bots, great hiding spots under the bridge for Scorpions, ways of using the center tube to cross sides, corner shooting angles, etc. Otherwise, general strategic tips like if you lose the bridge beacon hit the castle beacon, etc. Thanks and keep up the good work!
It's so sad thay all these great strategic elements and nuances aren't worth much as long as you're running meta equipment...I remember when even meta robots could be easily killed if they were to make a mistake. Now, if you're in an Ocho/Newton/Rook/Ophion(etcetera) it's virtually impossible to lose nomatter how badly you play.

Pixonic should be required to come to Manni with new game ideas because he is clearly better at game design than they are. Almost every idea he has for the game is far better than what they implement.
Quick tip: the whiteout drone is fairly obtainable for most players since it is older, and is very good on the skyros since it can block enemies from using their ability and active module for a few seconds.
I love my Skyros 🏀 with the Armadillo and after a couple of kills, it becomes really almost invincible. I had three Titans shooting at me while my team is re-adjusting and getting beacons. It's a fun troll thing. BUT, now it can be easier killed by Ophion, Dagon and Ocho with the rust and dot weapons.
If you use skyros as a beacon taker, it's fine to go with pilot Theseus. However if you want to do some damage like an assassin in addition to beacon capture, Roberto will be a better choice with the sonic weapons. It plays very feasible counter against many meta bots. Just remember to run this set before the enemies spawn their titans.
You should try the old meta again. The Ravana Phase Shift with Active Module & Ability instant cooldown skills on the pilot. Would love to see it again. Maybe with the Glider drone too.
Does the glider count transcendances as phase shifts? I don't think it does, which is such a missed opportunity. I run a Sonic rav myself and I would probably use the glider if I knew for sure if the ability counts as a phase shift. Whiteout works well, though.
That's true manni, phase shift is suposed to eliminate EVERY efect, also the indra's and ravana's trassendence, but somehow ir does not work in the new weapons, pixonic needs to change that

Btw I absolutely love my skyros ball, all the defense abilities 2xrepair amp 1ximmune amp + paladin or space station looking battleship both equipped with Max health extenders. Altho my game style with skyros is a bit different either I'm running beacons or sitting in enemy base taking all of their attention. It hilarious to never unball and have the whole team shooting you with barely a scratch.
This is one of my favorite bots. It's very costly on the scorecard. Hope you feel better soon. If you want a super speedy ball try 2 immune and a nitro unit. One harpoon can offer you a shield in ball form, and an armadillo can add speed and defence points I believe the maths work out to 91kph.

There are two pilot skills. Faster active module recharge (makes it much faster) and recharge at 50% health. Could be I had that. Haven’t watched the time stamp yet
Skyros has been a constant in my primary hanger. Roberto, shotguns, nuke amp, immune amp, repair amp, whiteout. Beacon capper and assassin all in one. Used it for a while with radiation weapons as a capper/support sniper which works out well.

Why Skyros is so loved? It's basically a better Loki, and Loki is a lot of fun, until someone with QR appears, the Skyros with the pilot doesn't have that weakness. It's an amazing beacon hunter and assassin.
TRUST ME, you DO NOT know the definition of "cowardly" until you see me play, PS I'm a Free to play! I exclusively play on the run, avoiding enemies, going for beacons and low health players with my Imugi and Lynx, and if my lynx forcefield or imugi battle breach is on cooldown, I'm behind a wall waiting for those ability's to reinitiate. I use my crisis for exclusively pushing open beacons (center beacon) as Crisis is basically a Loki, just slower and bulkier. yes. I WON ALL THREE OF THESE BOTS from 18 blue datapads! WOOO!
Sometimes things are just fun y know. Like Mortis in Brawl stars. I play as him even though he is the worst character in the game and can be killed very easily by competitive brawlers but he's just fun to play. There's always atleast 1 of them in the football game mode.
Since i'm a f2p player, I don't come across many good and op robots. Right now I have focused all my silver and gold into a skyros becuase it can last so long and is a good overall robot.
hey manni try the damper and deceiver on the nemesis with my experience is very fun and actually effective now with decent enough firepower and a shield that pops up constantly which is great in this meta
7:50 the mender probally cheat i mean i saw many shell or Arthur or hellburner cheats videos that they spal the abillity so nuch u cant see the Animation of the ability or it is rlly slow of seing it
Hey manni there is a new "cheat" in the game I don't know how people do it, but they have a shield that region instant like each seconds. I've started to see more and more robots with that, I think its a combo with a drone because the shield seems like 50k hp, but yeah it insta regen each seconds or two.

Manni the better skyrous module setup is 1 nuke amp and 2 immune amps because more damage more durability and more speed and permanent immunity to most negative effects
the mender has a bug i think... happened to me as well, my mender kept healing and never stopped until i got killed by an okidoki only happened once though
There was a also a rare bug where ophion with QR pilot would maintain its QR till the cooldown was finished, so you had perma QR as long as you used your ability as it became available
The pilot doesn't always work. I've been zapped by Newton while in ball mode, and instantly killed. Yep, confirmed… there is no way that pilot is working correctly. I get taken out by a single Ocho. Defense in this game is totally broken!
Well then! It looks like I'm gonna have to upgrade my Skyros now! And another thing, Scorpion is not cowardly, it is tactful, Scorpions are aware of their low health, and have to learn of their opponents strengths and weaknesses, what weapons they're using, what robot are they targeting, their abilities cooldowns, and if they have any modules that would prevent Scorpion from taking them down. Assassin type robots, (With some exceptions) require the player to hide until the opponent is vulnerable.
its not necessarily the best choice. A Scorpion may be more for you if you love TDM or drop the meta guys. But the Skyros is extremely good for beacon games, too
@ManniGaming I'm upgrading my skyros because of beacon rush and domination. My best beacon runners are a Mk2 Lvl 12 Gareth, a Hover, 3 different Orochi, and 1 Nether. All of them do burst movement or have horrible health, and Skyros has good consistency in beacon capturing.
