I feel like these companies just realised they perfected the packaging for Indiana Jones merch back in 2008. So they accepted it and decided they'd go with the same style but just change it slightly
I had the Temple Escape set at one point but it's in pieces (and I'm missing both the boulder and the idol) so it's great to see they remade it, even if it is pricier! Such a legendary scene. Interesting fact about that scene, the original idea for the scenes with the idol was to have its eyes following Indy as he moved around the room. As such, one of the props built featured mechanical moving eyes. Ultimately, the idea was abandoned though one shot remains in the final film, the one where Indy is pouring sand out of the bag.

I find the "Fighter Plane Chase" set (76012) really funny because of LEGO's policy regarding machines of war. LEGO were once hesitant to include grey bricks because they didn't want to make tanks, and being in Denmark (and being nearly a century old), LEGO was significantly impacted by WWII. The umbrella is probably in that treasure chest
Should be available on Lego website late March if the shops are getting it early April. I'm still super keen on a Petra set (Petra~Jordan, where the exterior byzantine bedouin temple was filmed, was there in 2006, got pictures but no vid, given smart phones weren't out then, but will be going back, Amman is about only 6 hrs flight from Western Europe) aka the temple of the crescent 🌙 moon
will be buying most of these, the temple set from raiders was my first big set as a kid, and got me into both lego and indiana jones. Cant wait for the new movie!
Hey Ash that's awesome I cant wait to get these sets.I really want that Temple of the Golden Idol that looks so cool,I just hope its not really expensive for us in Canada. That scene is iconic in the first movie.I hope they do still release the Temple of doom set it looks like one people would really like
The sets look so good
If the 3rd set has includes a gold c3po head it will be perfect
They’ve done the golden idol temple before. It was called “temple escape” and it had the boulder and the arrow room. I don’t remember it having the pit though
It did. The new one is more detailed in some places but it's a bit more squished together. Definitely see the difference in purpose of the two between playset and display piece.
I love how they’ve moulded indi’s hair to the hat now.
I've been looking forward to the temple of doom set by far the most. I really hope it's no cancelled.
the fighter plane chase tho
a sign which says Berlin! awesome set. as a person who dosent buy allot of Lego, might buy that set. It looks amazing
I can’t wait for the new Lego sets, but will Tt games make a Lego Indiana Jones 3? Cause I would love that.
I love how Lego is making all these scenes from movies and stuff but it be awesome if we could get an ET and Elliot flying in front of the moon and A back to the future Lego set with Marty McFly, and Doc Brown sending Einstein back in time with the DeLorean that would be awesome!
I think what’s behind the wall is a mechanism to make the wall collapse. It could be linked to removing the arc of the covenant but I can’t remember if that’s in the movie.
Indiana Jones and their LEGO sets were my biggest enjoyment when I was a child, I am gonna break my bank account with these sets!
What qualifications do you have to have to join the LEGO ambassador network? I’m not close to what I imagine it would be, but it’d be nice to have something to work towards!
There isn’t a particular following number you need. You just need to stand out and be unique. There’s two main questions they ask you when you apply. What do you bring to the LAN and what do you hope to get out of LAN?
@@Ashnflash Thank you!
Checking my store tomorrow and a few others. I know these sets are going to sell fast
At the bottom left on the Bionicle sticker reference there is also an Exo Force reference !
I have not collected you Legos within like 10 years. But this gave me a reason to spend my money. I want all of them.
What excites me is they are 100 percent using that hair/hat mold for alan grant
Behind the wall seems to be a snake launching feature, using that knob on the side to probably open up something to let a snake slide put
Dammmn they look amazing!!!! Hopefully we will get some sets on the crystal skull and the new movie
One of my first sets I've ever gotten was the boulder now the only piece I have from it is one of the base plates lol now that I'm an adult I'm hoping to get these and keep them together
Anyone else see the bionicle reference in the “escape from the lost tomb” set Galis mask on the wall of hieroglyphics
