Lexicon LXP-15 Preset Deep Dive || Using SSL SiX for routing

  • Hey! In this video I'm exploring some of the lofi presets in the Lexicon LXP-15. This is a cost effective hardware reverb that has a lot of old school sounds, but can also be used for modern purposes.
    If you have the SSL SiX or SSL Big SiX, hardware reverbs are a great tool for mixing stems and working to glue compositions together. You can also mix in the reverb so its just barely audible but adds nice atmosphere and tone. Inside of this reverb are many presets that combine reverb, delay, pitch effects, chorus, and more. If you can get your hands on one of these, I would do so.

    I picked up two of these. These things are great for adding warmth and that LoFi vibe. Stop making these the prices are going to go up on these.

    Thanks Paul. Nice video. Did you route from ext 2 of Six to the reverb unit? What is easiest way you physically routed the Reverb to the Six?

      Connecting them up to EXT 1 or EXT2 via the EXT inputs :)

      Hi, you re sending the signal to ext1 to the input of the reverb, and where do you connect the return of the reverb?
      I would like to but a ssl six for live use but I don t understand this.
