On today’s adventure, we are going to Quebrada Ganado, Puntarenas, Costa Rica, in search of a waterfall. This sleepy Costa Rican town on the Central Pacific coast is surrounded by large green mountains, thick in vegetation and rivers. Everyone here seems to have a well tended garden, bursting in tropical colors. We first visit the waterfall on a trail at the end of town and later head down to the Rio Agujas and walk along the river’s edge. This hike is bursting with amazing wild plants, stunning views and of course lots of fun. Join me as I take you along to this little hidden treasure here in beautiful Costa Rica.
    Plants mentioned in video:
    MexicanPetunia (Ruella simplex C. Wright)

A plant that puts out flowers every day? That's pretty neat! Some very nice shots of the waterfall 👍 Those stairs looked a little gnarly, though! What a fascinating story about those kids... Pretty impressive foraging skills, for sure! I think I'd pass on trying the termite nest, too, though (and that sketchy bridge) 😁

The mushrooms that you said looked like little bells had so,e really cool begonias and I also saw some off to the right of the staircase before you opened the gate! I saw multiple species around those stairs it would be amazing if you did A Begonia Species Video In this Area!!!

Hi. Yes those are Begonia multinervia. I often mention them in my videos as they are quite common around here. I actually shot some footage of them but had to leave it out this time as the video was already getting very long hahahah thanks for watching.
