NICOLAI CONGRATULATIONS, WE NEED PEOPLE LIKE YOU IN THIS COUNTRY ! ..you are welcome always the crossing that you did is amazing !! heyy greetings from buenos aires, argentina !!
Outstanding tour. Thank you so much for taking us along and for carrying all that heavy camera equipment on our behalf. I don't think the donkey had ever experienced compassion like you showed it. He seemed confused / bewildered by your caring act.
Hey currishev Using your body doesn't wear it out. Not using it wears it out. The same for your life. Better to get out there and use it up, otherwise it's just wasted. Youth exists exactly for craziness. Better to be crippled at 40 and know you've lived a your dream, than walk the same tired street for 90 years then die full of regret. Roll on, Nicolai, and thank you for letting us roll with you!
Wow man I'm just getting into bicycle touring, you are awesome! I'm taking a tour of the entire state of California in the summer. Can't wait to meet people like you on the road.
nicolai wow my friend what an epic, although id love to do this i cannot even come close to imaginin the epic sized inner strength you have shown on this trip, travel in peace brother :)
Inspiring! I am currently living in Slovakia, and was wondering if I can ride to Asia. I think you just answered my question. Time to start planning. Thank you, and rock on!
Nicolai, my name is Alex and your video is very inspirational, I think I am going to do this. But I will need to talk with you and ask you several questions. You have fulfilled one of my dreams and I look up to you. I live in New Jersey and have been getting really obsessed with bicycling, I cant stop thinking about it. I ride to work everyday and think what a better place this planet would be if we had less cars and more cyclists on the road. Keep on riding Nicolai!!!
awesome man.. makes me dream ;) as soon as i get around doing my physio exercises for my knees, i'm back on my bike and getting the hell out of here!!!
amigo exelente video, te esperamos por argentina cuando quieras volver, con asado y fernet jaja, contactanos, estamos a tu disposicion, con casa y comida!!. desde Rosario, Santa fe, Argentina , un abrazo y muchos exitos!!!
wow, thank you Nicolai for the quick reply. I'll jump on your website now. btw, put your website link in a more visible way because I was not able to find it at a first glance :) Many thanks. Marius Niculae :) Romania
Great Video,it is something I would like to do someday. Pondering on a possible European Cycle Ride next Year but no way as difficult as yours has been.
Wow... dude, this is amazing, I would love to do something similar, maybe not around the world but maybe around the whole US would be lots of fun. This stuff is absolutely amazing, I have to say you've got some crazy will-power to keep going like this.
hi men, you are really a great inspiration, i have one questions for you: dont you use anything to protect your face from the sun? or you just put it off when you shoot? thanks men, keep going, greetings form Colombia.
Excellent. I like the video length and mixture of pics/vids, not that I know anything about video editing. My trip (6000miles in NZ and US) resulted in a boring slide show of pictures! Judging your "conditioning" from the donkey feeding scene, you ought to try out for pro cycling - top shape! Maybe that's why you carried so much gear! Great stuff.
wanna to start doing this locally, but have a few questions, like when you want to go inside somewhere what do you do with all your gear ( panniers, bags, ect), cuz you can't exactly carry that stuff around with you and it would definitely take from the experience if you had to keep checking up on your stuff, making sure that its safe. Thanks guys
@Zircon96 I'm in the same boat...planning on going into Latin America this spring. No particular destination other than south and no time constraints...
Wow, this looks like the start of an epic series. How the hell you train for this I have no idea. But looks like you enjoyed every km of riding. What did you do about spares or running repairs? Luck
Amazing, really inspirational. Me and three of my friends have set ourselves the challenge of cycling from London 2 Istanbul. Im currently sending this message from Brussels. Loving the videos, I look forward to see more of your epic adventures. Iv got a couple of videos from, our trip so far if ya up for peddling over to my channel. Smith
At this point, I'd been cycling for more than 2 years and my legs/body was used to all that pedalling. I was carrying basic tools and spare parts on the bike. For mayor spare part changes (bottom bracket etc.) I usually just went to see a pro bike mechanic in the big cities on the way. See "worldtravellers dot dk" for much more...
Nicolai Bangsgaard thanks for your vídeos, good inspiration....iam living in a month time...around the World.....can i así you how you did páy your TRIP? For so LONG? Thanks
just curious. How did you get on with repairs. Getting parts in other countries. e.g., I would think you'd need to replace bearings, wheel hubs, tyres.
How much money i need to travel aorund the world?... $30,000 maybe? for five years? what kind of bike i need to travel?... a aluminium mountain bike? or pure MTB iron?
Great Great Great!!!!! One of the best cycling videos out on the tube.

Hey currishev
Using your body doesn't wear it out. Not using it wears it out.
The same for your life. Better to get out there and use it up, otherwise it's just wasted.
Youth exists exactly for craziness. Better to be crippled at 40 and know you've lived a your dream, than walk the same tired street for 90 years then die full of regret.
