@@Me-eq5ix Actually, he did marry when he was quite young but it didn't work out. He was with his long time love, Elizabeth, for ten years on and off and he bought her a car and paid for her to go to school in England. There's a video of them walking through the woods together I think from the same day this scene was shot. They were a beautiful couple. Shame it didn't work out for them.

No, I didn't know Peter personally, I'm not that fortunate. I'm just a lifelong Type O Fan. Been listening to them since '93. I read that quote in an interview Peter did back in the day. The interviewer asked him about his love for October and autumn:
"Even though October is not the eight month, it was originally the eighth month until Pope Gregory changed the calendar. Eight happens to be my favorite number because when you turn eight sideways it means infinity. So it's just symbolic to me. October is just really, really special. I just wish I could live in a place where Autumn never ended. Where the leaves never stopped falling."

Peter Steele felt like this bigger than life character the depth of sadness he left with cannot be understated.
I watched him talk and got choked up just now.... He was not just a regular human, there was something special about him. His voice was unique and sultry it was magic. I think it was no mistake he joined his bandmates to form Type O Negative. All really talented musicians. You are missed Green man. 💚🖤

I believe Peter would have had a happier life had he never agreed to go out on tour, which he fought against for a long time. The "road life" was his undoing in very many ways. I believe he would've had a much happier life continuing his work with The Parks and Recreation Dept. of N.Y. while enjoying his music on the side. He was a man who hungered for a loving wife and children and the stability of a regular routine. Bless his heart, he just fell into a million pieces on the road, especially when alcohol and drugs took over his life......and his dreams for his life.
That's just BS. No one, NO ONE is happy with marriage and children. Well, unless you are a childish insecure and coward masochist. Which was not the case. I'm pretty sure he had, for the most part, a great time. Besides that, he had a natural inclination to be extremely melancholic and depressed, but that would never change. Much less with the boredom and routines of marriage.

this lake is in sloatsburg ny. i know because this location was on my calendar for the month of November. i looked at it and knew i recognized it from somewhere.
I saw someone mention elsewhere that it's in Staten Island. Spring Pond at Blue Heron Park, 250 Poillon Ave. I looked it up and it certainly looks like it.
Now you both have to meet up and go to ny and staten island to see who’s right!
You could both be wrong though. With similar climates the trees will ofc look similar.
I often wonder if he faked his death, choosing to live quietly in the woods away from society, tending to his cats, and working on automobiles.
