Here's why - while Lahore karahis are a let down, these biryanis are pure fire. I discovered Jaidi Paan shop actually sells biryani? Woot? And after trying about 10 biryani spots this remains my favorite
Here's why this is a luxury for me - here in the UK, biryanis are a joke, I can't even find anything a quarter as tasty as this and even if there's a good biryani spot, expect to pay around £10 for it, sometimes even double. This for me defeats the whole purpose of biryani
So this is Jaidi biryani in H block DHA Phase 1 and if you do end up going 1.) Make sure they batch they give you is fresh. 2.) Make sure you ask for spicy biryani (ensure they don't add white rice). For me this is one of the tastiest things in Lahore, especially considering the price. In love with biryani now because I've actually got to enjoy great biryani at a good price. I've never enjoyed biryani in my life like this. Thanks to Lahore I've been able to have this day in day out.
