I'm an instant fan and I'm also a musician who has done a lot and hates most new bands but this was killer and fun ... keep it up ad me to your mail list. Cheers boys
Wow, a tribute band producing this great video and covering the song really good - long time Kiss fan from the 70s - I’m in and on this channel - Badass 🤘
Love this video!! Great stuff!! One question though, what’s with Paul being WEIRD in that room with the manikin? Loved, Loved this video so F***ing Good!!
Thanks for the kinds words. OK, we filmed the main performance footage inside of a haunted house. We felt we got adequate closeups of "Eric" in the band sequences but wanted to pick different locations in the haunted house for "Gene," "Ace" and "Paul." Ace's character being the sentient intellectual, we thought it was fitting to do his scenes in the 'library/study' and Gene being the diabolical 'Demon,' we figured the hybrid hospital/science lab looked cool to do most of his scenes in. For "Paul," we put him in a padded asylum room, and he really got into character. What would the 'Starchild' do, with all of that passion and energy being isolated and locked away to his own devices? And what you see is what you get. Thanks again!
Yes, it was a Marshall plexi Kemper profile and I believe one of the add ons in the profile had the muff pedal Ace used in the 70's. After the solo was captured, our mixing engineer ran the leads through a tone matching plugin in Cubase to get them super close to the album sound. Thanks for noticing...
Thanks! Our drummer of 10 years portrayed Eric because he really looked like him (without makeup) and played more like Eric than Peter, so it only made sense. Why have a half assed Peter Criss when you can have a great Eric Carr?
This is Really a Cool Video, BUT why is the Drummer wearing Eric cars make up? when Eric didn't join KISS untill 1980. as Kiss fans im sure you guys know that
Because KISS THIS! is a tribute band that has Eric Carr as the drummer. Eric Carr performed the song "Calling Dr. Love" many years during his career with KISS. Nobody stated that this video was supposed to take place in 1976.
Because our drummer at the time looked and played like Eric and did not look like Peter Criss at all. Figured it would better to have a great looking Eric Carr then a 'meh' Peter Criss...
if your going to make a video of a cover calling doctor love at least use the right drummer Peter Criss not one of Gene and Pauls yes men....jeez......other then that it sounded great
Our drummer portrayed Eric Carr and was loved by countless Kiss fans. Many tribute bands have Eric Carr as their drummer and they perform all eras of Kiss. Kiss always said there are no rules and we believe that. We appreciate that you like the way the song sounds..

Love this
This is Awesome! best Cover ive heard of this song!
As die-hard KISS fan since 1975, this is so much more entertaining than anything put out in this century by Gene and Paul.
Thank you
Hey, this is pretty damn GOOD. And the video is hilarious. Nice work!
Very creative, I enjoyed seeing it.!!!😊😊😊😊

This is incredible. I'm a huge KISS fan . You guys are bad ass. ROCK ON
Awesome cover !!!! and the 3 Stooges reference of Dr. Howard, Dr. Fine, Dr. Howard is classic lol.
That was fun!
Here's a fun fact some of you may not know: Katey Sagal sang backing vocals on the original studio version.
This video is AWESOME!!!!! Thank you!!!! The first concert I ever went to was KISS at MSG in 1977. I will never forget it.
Well done! Love this!
Awesome video! Great job, guys!
That was Awesome!!!!
What a fun video to watch! Great job!!!
The guitar work on this is solid...the lead guitarist practiced like mad to maintain fidelity to the original lead part. Bravo!
Awesome job!!

LMFAO!!!!
This is the video that KISS should have done for this tune................"I LOVE IT!!!!"
"Where can I get that anesthesia for my parties?" said Diddy. Uh.....hey, wait a sec.
Wild comment 💀💀
A mis chiquitos escuché esa canción a unos días que saliera
great
Now THAT'S a tribute band.

He was in the mood for lovin'! 😂
Pretty cool. Dig the vocals n solo. Paul and Ace in the windows was a nice touch
Ouh yeah 🔥🤘🏻
Это потоясающе!!! Просто супер!!! ❤
CLASSICO 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Damn good cover
I love those girls
👍👍👍
✨🤘🏼
Who was the Genius creator who envisioned this mini movie?
That would be John Jeffrey.
🤘🏼
I thought this would be cheesy, and it was... awesome job fellas
Cool as fuck
Ohhh Yah...
I need more cowbell... I mean nitrous.
Can you recall what was used to record the solo, because it's very close to the Rock And Roll Over LP tone!!!
@@buffalorockcity7639 Ah sure! Amazing cover guys and really nailing the details! Cheers!
THE REAL ASYLUM COVER
Calling Dr love was not on that album. You must not know the album
Same tongue as Gene's
@ 2:10 ...WTF ??!!! 😂
Muito legal e ainda mais trazendo o professor Eric Carr😊
Dr Schroeder!!!!
what no fire breathing
Mehh! Should've paid tribute to the original and had the Cat Man instead of the Fox. Carr was a great drummer but the Cat Man was quintessential KISS.
That's who our drummer chooses to portray. He looks and plays just like Eric.
even though i am a big fan of Peter i thought it was cool that your drummer was Eric and great job by the way@@buffalorockcity7639
Eric Singer has already chosen to portray the original catman.😊😊😊
I think Eric Carr was great, so it's nice to see tribute bands with his character in them. Good job guys.
I just realized that she is supposed to be Shannon Tweed.
Only thing I don't like is different era costumes
so good ....but - But what about the 2 brunette beauties. No credit to them? one would think they deservee a mention, or a Props, or a Thumbs up.
They are credited. Did you read ALL of the credits?
@@buffalorockcity7639 didnt see any credits.
@@97warlock well read them..lol..Click "more" and it gives all of credits and names of everyone who worked on the video.
I love they went Eric Carr instead of Peter Criss

Also smartphones weren't a thing until at least 1984. So, you may be onto something.😂
@@one_with_kevrything9825 1984? i think you meant 1994
@@MetalHeart8787 Nah, man.
Why eric carr?

Missouri????
